Highly recommend AMA if in need in Lordsburg! We were traveling from Arizona to Michigan with our 4 young children when our van lost power. Our roadside assistance driver recommended Victor s shop and we are forever grateful! We pulled in and his wife was out within minutes to scan for diagnostic codes and Victor was incredibly thorough when explaining to my husband what it was showing and was able to fix it right away. We spent a total of 15 minutes there and were back on the road. If you ever find yourself in need, this is your place to be!

When your car starts vibrating and warning lights start flashing in the middle of nowhere and Lordsburg is your next exit, what do you do? You pull over and start googling "mechanic."At least that's what I did. Now I'm not going to lie. When I pulled up I was dubious. I wasn't even sure it was open, and the lot was filled with cars and trucks in all states of disrepair. But I did what had to be done -- I got out of my car and went into the little office with hope and prayer, and boy am I glad I did!Victor and his wife were amazing - meaning friendly, helpful, honest, thorough. Victor and Zariah had the equipment to get the codes to diagnose the problem, and dropped what they were doing to help us figure it out. Victor was downright innovative in confirming he had truly identified the problem. Before suggesting a part and a fix that may or may not fix the problem for the rest of our trip (we were driving from El Paso to Los Angeles along with our two dogs) he reasoned that if it was indeed a failing engine coil, he should be able to swap the bad one with a the good one and duplicate the problem. It worked! Only then did they help us shop for and find the part we needed that could get us on our way. Lucky for us, one was available in town.They literally spent hours with us, never asking for a penny for the time it took to figure out the problem in the first place. And the fix was so easy, he almost let us go without paying. (This was completely unacceptable to us, so we guessed at a fair compensation for their time and Victor graciously accepted). They are so kind, helpful and empathetic. I wish I could take all my cars to them!If I ever drive through again, I'll stop and say hello.Thank you Victor and Zariah! I can't begin to tell you how grateful I am to Victor for all that he did to get me back on the road, including him knowing just the right person to help weld my muffler back on. Thank you to Sean! What a welder! I'll post a picture, the guy knows his stuff!If you're ever in the area of Lordsburg, New Mexico and you need some mechanical work or welding done by good, honest people, these are the guys!Thank you all so very, very much!

I was on the interstate driving across the country when the serpentine belts on my truck came off the pulleys. Luckily, I managed to make it to All Makes Automotive. Victor and Zariah were incredibly welcoming and gracious while I waited to get the truck repaired. Victor won't let a vehicle leave his shop until the repair is done right. The world needs more people like Victor, Zariah, and their crew. Their customer service is exceptional and extremely rare in this day and age. I would 100% recommend them for all your automotive needs! I just wish they lived closer - I'd take my truck to them every time.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

WOW!! They ALL went above and way beyond!! We broke down on I 10 on our way to Tucson. The tow took us here. I have a Kia so part was ordered. We were given a ride to our hotel by Victors girlfriend. She went to pick up our part the next morning and it didn t come in. Instead of telling us that we would need to wait another day she drove all over Deming to get the parts needed!!! Came back to the motel and picked us up to take us back to get the car. It was put back together quickly.The total bill was less than I expected! He checked the lug nuts on my tires being they were new upon starting my trip to give me piece of mind. Thanks to everyone I wish I could remember names. Greatest place and people ever!! Highly recommend!! I will be sure to just stop by on my way thru the area just to say hello!! Great business!!!!!

All Makes Automotive did a fantastic job. I recently had Tie Rods and Ball joints installed on my vehicle in Rio Rancho and the mechanics didn't tighten the lower shock bolts and they fell off so I was bouncing around the freeway so badly that I pulled off the Lordsburg exit and landed at AMA where they went to a boneyard found bolts and nuts and got me up and running in 2 hours for a mere $100. They could have gouged me and others like me but they didn't! I highly recommend them!

10/10 Would recommend this auto mechanic shop to anyone! Victor, the owner was hands on with his helps working on cars and his wife is at the front office doing all the paperwork and ordering parts. Felt like family coming to this local shop and didn t get taken advantage of. When my van broke down on my road trip, Victor and his family took me in, gave me a place to sleep for the night. The next day I woke up sick, and they made me a bowl of soup, got me medicine, and took care of me WHILE still working on my van. Words cannot describe how grateful I am. I can t even explain or express how grateful we are to these men for helping us, My daughter and a couple of her friends got stranded in Lordsburg NM because our car was leaking coolant badly and the guys at All Makes Automotive fixed the problem for free and made sure we were safe to drive these guys are so awesome and patient and understanding everyone should get their car serviced here. I put a picture of the part that was replaced I think it s called Coolant temperature sensor The car was a Ford Taurus station wagon

Victor and his wife are amazing people. The vacuum pump in my car went out at the flying j just off the exit and we called him and they came to check my car out. Despite having to take his daughter to silver city to the hospital and to get my part he had my car fixed within 24 hours. EXTREMELY polite and skilled, they make you feel very welcome and like your vehicle is top priority. If I didn t live 6 hours away All Makes Auto would be my choice mechanic hands down. The price was fair, and given the fact they even gave me a ride to the hotel said a lot as well. RECOMMEND! RECOMMEND! RECOMMEND!!!Service: Brakes

I went in for my check engine lite a couple of codes that wouldn't go away. Also, to change the plugs on my truck. Victor and his crew were able to get all work done in a very timely manner and a reasonable price.

We pulled into Lordsburg in our OLD motor home with our OLD VW in tow only 2 hours into our road trip with a power steering fluid leak. Owners Victor and Zariah were able to locate an available seal at NAPA in Silver City, which we picked up so that Pancho the mechanic could do the repair first thing the next day. They were all so friendly, hospitable, and professional. It was also very rreasonable. We are back on the road, very pleased with the service we received at All Makes Automotive. Driving to Texas when I realized that my brakes had blown a line. Call all over town and finally found someone to answer. These guys were able to come to me expediently and diagnose my issue ! From then we made it to the shop where not only they charged a fair fair price for an emergency job, i was also able to get back on the road with so little time! Outstanding job at this place, would highly recommend to those who break down going cross country

Our drivers side rear window regulator broke on our road trip from AZ to TX. We were only 4 hours into our trip! We called Victor at AMA and he was able to fit us in! He saved our trip! Not only was he able to get us back on the road, he is such a genuine and kind man! So grateful that we found him!! Victor did a great job on my F150 Lariat. Tuned the 5.4L engine. truck runs great will return in the future for other auto repairs. He and his personel were very courteous and helpful. Victor and everyone else here was so kind, quick, and helpful. My truck was having problems on a long cross country road trip and they got me in so quickly on a Saturday. Very good and trust worthy people. Best mechanic I ve ever been to hands down. Thanks y all for your help.

We broke down at a rest stop on our way home to Texas surrounded by nothing!We found this place and made phone calls discussing the issues our van was having over the phone with them. While we waited for tow service, they went out and bought what they thought we needed from the parts store cause we wouldn't be able to get there before they closed, all so we wouldn't get stuck here over night!! Then, only charged us for the parts used and the labor. They went to work on our van right away even after their closing hours so we could get back on the road.Of all the areas to get stranded, my husband and I are so thankful that it was by this honest and family owned place. Definitely recommend!!

Broke down and had my car towed here. By far the best experience I have ever had. Victor and Zariah were so welcoming to not only me but my dog as well. Cannot say thank you enough, and I highly recommend All Makes Automotive (AMA)! Victor and Zariah were so kind, and promptly took care of our car problem in a difficult situation! My family and I were near the end of a 1,100+ mile road trip and we developed a shudder in the vehicle while driving. We stopped in Lordsburg and found AMA online, and Victor was able to see us right away. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a bulging tire that was unsafe to drive on any further, and called around to look for the right sized tire. Even though there wasn't one in Lordsburg, he installed our vehicle's spare tire for us so we could continue safely to another town and get the bad tire replaced. Victor was very generous with his time and prices, and I felt like I got honest service. We broke down about 20 miles outside of Lordsburg and Victor got us a tow truck and fixed my friend's Toyota Tundra all in 2 days. He was super helpful at finding an affordable drive shaft within the area and put it in the minute he got it. Viktor is not only a great mechanic but an amazing person as well. I broke down in Lordsburg driving from El Paso to Tucson. The locals immediately referred me to Victor at All Makes Automotive. After a few hours arguing with my insurance and roadside assistance (absolutely no help at all) I decided to call him. Victor was there within 5 minutes and towed me to his shop free of charge. Once at his shop I immediately felt at ease and like I was in good hands. Victor didn t have the part I needed but one of his shop hands went to his house and sourced the part I needed! Victor literally had the part and replaced it in less than a hour after I was towed to the shop. While waiting I was very comfortable in the air conditioned office and was even offered cold water and popsicles! All Makes Automotive is a family business and was more affordable to support them than other options I had at the time like getting a tow and new part and labor etc etc etc. Victor and his team turned my desperate situation into an absolute miracle. I got back on the road and made it safely to Tucson with no issue at all. Victor even offered to have me call him if I run into any other issues while in Tucson as he has family connections. I feel very safe and secure knowing if anything happens I can call on Victor and he ll get the job done. SUPPORT ALL MAKES AUTOMOTIVE!!!Service: Engine repair

I can't say enough wonderful things about Victor and AMA. I was driving to El Paseo and my car started having trouble on a Saturday, no less. I ended up stopping in Lordsburg and asking a local if they knew anyone that could help me with my car. They referred me to Victor at AMA. Victor spent several hours trying to diagnose and fix my Scion and even had someone drive to the next town an hour away to get parts for my car! They worked on my car until 9pm on Saturday night. Unfortunately, my car was a lost cause but the dedication they put in to trying to help me was unmatched. He even called the next day to make sure I made it to my location safely! Who does that?! Victor does. Would highly recommend Victor and his staff! So friendly and really wanted to help me. If I could give more starts I would. Thank you thank you!Service: Engine repair

Great guy, Great shop. I didn t have my plug wires properly secured and one burned out on the exhaust manifold I didn t want to go to a shop and pay a ton of money so I normally frequent part stores well turns out most of em don t work on Saturdays.ALL MAKES AUTOMOTIVE to the rescue.He was down to earth friendly mechanic sold me just 2 plug wires ((I figured a spare is necessary out here in the desert)) for a fair rate and gave me some zip ties!

OK, so on Nov 27, 2022, I was stranded on I-10 due to a bearing seizing and my serpentine belt falling off at 75MPH as a result. I was stranded about 25 miles East of Lordsburg, where this shop is located. As I sat there stranded and waiting for the tow truck, I Googled around to find a shop to be towed to. That's how I found AMA. It was a Sunday. I was finally towed in, and I fully expected not to see anyone in the shop until the next day, Monday. But to my surprise, workers soon began arriving, and the 3rd person to arrive was the owner. On a Sunday. After hearing my story, I was treated like a long lost friend. I can't possibly say all the things they did to take care of not only my car trouble, but my personal needs as well, knowing that I was 500 miles from home. And when they learned how hard up I was, they did the work for practically nothing. I simply can't thank you guys enough!Service: Engine repair

Not only is Victor is a top notch mechanic, but also a great person. A dear friend of mine was stranded in Lordsburg NM and Victor has taken care of his mechanic needs thoroughly and fairly. It's nice to know that there are still decent people out there that won't take advantage of you when you are truly in need. A Huge Thank You to Victor and his Family for being Amazing People!!!

Traveling through Lordsburg my alternator went bad, on short notice and before normal hours on a Saturday Victor came to the plate and hit a grand slam!!! Way above and beyond service and the cost was very fair. I would rate 10 out of 5 stars if I could. More than pleased!!!

Great Honest Place! Victor is the mechanic and his wife Zaraiah is the person I spoke to for the appointment. They both moved fast on getting my husband's infiniti done! From the start to finish they were both efficient and honest about everything. I would definitely recommend!!
