We needed an emergency job done less than an hour before they closed on a Friday, and we were still 25 minutes out according to our GPS. Ernest assured us he would wait for us and take a look at our exhaust system. We are from Missouri, so we weren't surprised when he told us we needed an entire exhaust replacement. Knowing we were so far from home, he also gave us a couple of inexpensive and temporary options. We opted to have him replace the entire exhaust system, which kept him there even longer after hours. We are in the habit of conducting business with other believers and were pleasantly surprised to see a public display of his faith throughout his office. We are thankful that Ernest uses his muffler business to minister to others in their times of need.

Ernest took a look at my Ford at 2pm, by 4pm he called that I could pick it up.Great service, efficient and friendly.He replaced my exhaust flex pipe as asked and informed me about another issue i was unaware of that he was able to fix at the same time.Very fair price. Would definitely recommend to others.

I've used Ernest for years now. Trucks and cars. He always has done a great job. He will also step up and recommend the right fit for what you want. Listen to him, he's usually right.

Ernest did a great job on my mini cooper! I got a quote quickly, and he was able to get the repair done the same day I dropped it off. I am. Very happy with the job Valley Muffler did.

Earnist has a nice place but he always seems rushed, even when im the only customer he has at the moment. Customer service skills are lacking. Ya i know its a shop and hes probably busy, but hes not even very polite and he doesnt smile and he doesnt talk to you about whats going on. He doesnt portray the i wanna help you out im ganna do what you want done. Overall good enough muffler shop, but confidence in himself and overall politeness would of had me confident i can trust him. There it is. He doesnt put out that hes trust worthy.Hell, even Dana over at ALERT MUFFLER said he didnt trust him because Earnist used to work for Dana.

Tried to get a piece of exhaust tubing remade so I could get my classic driving again and was yelled at about catalytic converters and how I didn t know anything about emission. Also was told he wouldn t make enough off me for him to even do it. Was willing to pay twice his price. Btw the truck didn t have catalytic converters from factory just adding efi.

Reviews and Photos1340 N Valley Dr, Las Cruces, NM 88007Carroll Enterprises Senor Lopez does quick and decent work on simple installs/removals of exhaust systems, shop is well equipped and at first glance seems to know his stuff. More complex and higher end exhaust work appears beyond his ability. Major negatives includes his inability to properly center and level such things as exhaust tips etc. as he relies upon his eyeballs rather than using simple measuring tools like a level and ruler. Since he won't allow you to get close and see what he is doing until done, it is a "what you see is what you get" result. What is even much worse, when you then see that he made big errors, he refused to fix them! Not nice. Somewhat lacking in basic customer relation skills no matter how nice you treat him and always acts like he is in a big rush with no time to discuss.Since Valley Muffler is NOT a member of the BBB, there is no intermediary between you and his treatment of your complaints (which is nada). Better off taking your exhaust work to J&J Muffler (ask for Larry) who has lots of experience fixing Valley Muffler's mistakes...and now includes fixing my own vehicle that Vally Muffler messed up.

You can t talk to the guy, trying to inform him of your issues and all he tells you is he s busy and used rude unprofessional language. For that I hope no one goes here. Plenty of other real PROFESSIONAL mechanics.
