Went to talk to mechanic based on the rave reviews. We have several vintage cars including a 64 Corvette and 64 Mustang. Guy working in the bay saw me. Ignored me when I went into the office to speak to someone. Stood there for 15 minutes. Nada. A huge Rottweiler came running in the dog at least showed some semblance of customer service. I finally left glad they have enough business and don t need mine.

My friend was traveling cross country with his horse trailer and horse. He had some serious problems with his pickup truck he pulled into Rid s. The owner told him what was going on with his pickup . They fixed my friend right up and had him on his way. Thanks for being such a honest repair garage. He is now on his way to his final destination. Thank you againService: Engine repair

I was traveling from Texas to California and I had a busted water gasket and thermostat. I was devastated, so I went to 3 shops and none could help me. Then I went to RID's and I was prepared to be let down again, but not only did they make room for me within the hour they were ready to help and provide me a reasonable price for everything. Without a doubt in my head if RID's did not help I would have been stuck in New Mexico for another week. I was blessed to get their services. recommend.

I purchased a cheap vehicle as is from here, so I take some blame in this incident. When it didn't start after less than 2 months I looked around and figured it was the fuel pump. Not something I can fix with my limited skill. I figure I'd return the business and see what could be done. Their rates are very reasonable and the few mechanics I talked too were quite friendly.However the biggest and worst catch is that while we were getting a quote that ended up costing half as much as I bought it for, they let it slip that they knew it was having that problem.So I buy a junker... sure it's going to need work. But to sell a vehicle they knew wasn't going to start sometime soon, to someone with little to no knowledge of auto repair with at least a strong suspicion that it was going to happen, AND never mentioned it to me?Well, hope it was worth it.

I went there because I had a bad fuel leak. I was told the fuel tank selector unit was faulty. They replaced the old part with a part they ordered from the internet. They installed the part without checking it to determine that it was good. It was also faulty and was installed. Thinking the part they installed was working; I replaced many other parts because I started having problems with the fuel system. Since I couldn't find the problem I took my Ford F150 to a different GARAGE where they found the part that was installed by RIDS was faulty and someone had tried to repair the part using silicone. I am very disappointed with the RIDS GARAGE and will not be using them again for anything!! I don't know if RIDS tried to fix the part before they installed it or they just installed it without checking it. I spoke with Rene(the owner) about it and he said they installed it the way they recieved it and were not responsible for the functionality of any parts that came from the internet and were installed by them even though they were the ones who ordered the part.

Had rear struts replaced. Excellent and quick job. Price was reasonable compared to the dealerships and other places. Owner was very friendly and guaranteed the labor for 6 months. Overall, a very positive experience.

Angels among us. Thank you for helping us in our time of need. We were passing through Las Cruces, NM, and our truck started acting funny on the freeway. We pulled off the freeway and luckily there was a hotel across from the auto shop. They helped us with what was needed. Do not take your vehicle to rids. They had mine a month and it was still sitting there and they are very unprofessional
