My brakes were making a very loud screeching noise when I came to a stop. I didn't think I should delay getting them inspected and repaired, since I thought I had a serious problem. I just dropped in to Brake Masters and Jeremy told me that they had several appointments ahead of me and that it could be as long as three hours before my truck would be serviced, but he'd do his best to get me in. It actually was less than an hour and a half. He explained what the technician found and what it would cost to fix it. The bill was less than the estimate--how often does that happen? I was completely satisfied with the work and the cost. I recommend Brake Masters highly.

This is the best experience I have had. Fast, reliable, and efficient. The entire process of customer service was a 10. The automacanics also a 10. I had my brakes, oil changed, and battery. They were the best. I will definitely make this my to go to spot for these services.

There are a couple businesses that are consistently excellent. One is discount tire and I'm happy to say brake masters is on that list. Jeremy is simply amazing. Personable, professional, efficient and honest. I will definitely bring my cars back and for other services as well. The icing on the cake is their wonderful text/email system where they text and email you once they have looked at the car, including pictures, tell you what needs to be done immediately or in the future, and you approve or deny the services. Then they text you when your car is done! No wasting time playing phone tag. Every business should use this!!!! Thanks Las Cruces brake masters!!

Jeremy took really good care of me from the time I made my appt to the very end. Showed me what the issue was, gave me my options & fixed me up! Hard to find genuine honest mechanics. Don't hesitate to take your car here!

DRIVE PASS THIS SHOP AND DO NOT LOOK BACK IF YOU LIKE YOUR VEHICLE. PLEASE READ THEIR YELP REVIEWS! Brake destroyers of Las Cruces! I stopped by here to get my brake pads changed and rotors resurfaced. I commute to cruces and was trying to save some time before going on vacation by allowing these guys to do the work my usual mechanic does TERRIBLE MISTAKE! When I left I heard a weird noise sounded like I drove over a rumble strip but just thought it was my brakes needing to be broken in since it wasn t consistent drove home to El Paso. Started noticing it more and more. Took it back to my trustworthy mechanic to find out these guys did not correctly resurface my rotors. All I can say is I should have read the yelp reviews. Never trusting this place again! I usually never give a place a 1star review but, incompetence with a vehicle is something that deserves a 1-star. I gave a dirty restaurant at least a 2 for trying. These guys do the bare minimum.

This place is always so great. The staff is super friendly and honest. I really like the messaging service they use where they update me on what they find and recommend for the car. My grandpa went to this Brake Masters for years before he passed and always got me appointments here too. They were always so friendly with him and took care of anything he needed and they always gave him a vet discount. They are great!

Took my vehicle in I already had new brakes in the front was told that I needed to replace all four of my brakes Plus a control arm which was already new to begin with ended up paying over $2,000 and whenever I took it home it was making a weird noise I took it back in and told him about the noise and they tried to tell me that they couldn't hear it, I brought it back in and make sure that they could hear the sound and they're trying to tell me that it's something else now. I wouldn't recommend going to brake Masters you will probably leave with something else wrong with your car.

Took my car in because the brakes were making a very nasty sound. My problem was trouble shooted, I was clearly explained the findings and because it wasn't actually my brakes I wasn't charged. Excellent service and I highly recommend.

Took my car to get a new gas pump. They did a terrible job and the car did not want to start. Was supposed to get a lifetime warranty on the part. Terrible service and work on my car.

Got here at 7:20am before they open to be the first one and still ended up waiting 3 and a half hours with a baby for a brake change. Don t come here if you need work done quickly, it will most likely take the whole day or multiple days. The crew and manager at Brake Masters have been a mainstay for maintaining and fixing our vehicle issues. I've used them for 10 years plus, with honest diagnostic skills and results, reasonable prices and timely service. Inspected my 06 Toyota Tundra, and found my steering stabilizer had broken. Fixed it super fast and the bill was way cheaper than I thought it would be. Thank you so much Brakemasters professionals in Las Cruces, NM!!

Came in for an oil change. They made sure to upsell me to full synthetic oil after I explained I had the coupon online for conventional. It s better oil and last longer? Ok fine I paid the $70 for the oil change. I get my car back and the wheels are loose and my glove box is off with all my belongings thrown everywhere. I called them and said my wheels are loose. Oh come back in the morning no.. I m going right now I really don t care if it s 6:00 and you close at 5:30. If you re going to inconvenience me I m going to inconvenience you. What was I going to do? Drive around with loose wheels or do it myself or pay SOMEONE ELSE to do it correctly? Instead of doing me a courtesy, they were literally going to let me struggle and figure it out myself before they took responsibility to make it right. And just having my glove box completely off just shows how careless they were when my vehicle was in their hands. Not to mention that my a/c was on FULL BLAST AND THE RADIO TOO. Have some professionalism what is that about?!Just like any other shop be aware and always make sure your ride is in good hands. Double check everything. Especially if you re a woman because I can t imagine how many women that don t know much about cars or don t have anyone to trust to take care of their cars get taken advantage of here.

I do have to say about my experience with Brake Masters. I had all of my four rotors changed there recently. My car was shaking when I applied the brake at highway speeds. I took it in and they said my brake pads were good but my rotors needed replacing. I did and it cost me $700.00 I was going to be traveling to El Paso back and forth so I went ahead and paid. They also have me an estimate for replacing 2 shock absorbers (Which they showed me a picture of). The estimate was for $2,500.00 I kid you not. Ridiculous!! They said the shock absorbers were only a specific kind that was for my Buick. So I realized I did pay to much for the rotors. I called Pep Boys they also said the shock absorbers but their price installed was $800.00. Wow. I suggest you do go to Brake Masters get an estimate for repair and then go somewhere else and get it done. You will save a lot of money.. I won't be going back ever. I can honestly say this is my true experience.

Overall experience with this branch was pleasant. However not real satisfied with their customer database or explanation.Even though I have had 2 vehicles serviced by BrakeMasters (franchised not corporately owned) from another state they could not bring them up on their system. Fortunately I had a copy of my receipt, if I had not been able to provide the receipt my so called Lifetime Warranty would not be honored.Get your software and database together BrakeMasters!!!!!

The Manager was super nice. Explained everything to me. Had an oil change, cabin filter replaced and a brake light fix. $123, not bad. Hope that manager last. Every oil change I go in for, it s a different Manager, like I stated, I hope this guy staysService: Oil changeService: Oil change

Jeremy, Roberto, and crew do a great job. I recommend them whenever I can. I don't trust most of the quick oil change places anymore after hearing employees upsell absolutely anything they can. Even trying to sell me filters that I had changed myself less than a week before. Robert saved me a dead battery headache by letting me know my battery was going bad when I got my oil changed. Had a warranty elsewhere and was able to get it switched out. Will be returning with all my vehicles from now on.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Air conditioning, Oil change
