Took my car in for Brakes and an oil changeMet Bernie, he answered all my questions. Dropped my car off at 8 am, and it was done before noon. Amazing price for new brakes. He let me know exactly what was needed. Im very pleased with the great work and great customer service..I will Definitely be back .

This shop is amazing, they inspect your car and tell you the truth about it. Very honest people! Sadly, every time I go is empty and I d like to them have more work. Las Cruces, please, take your cars here. They do excellent work without overpricing!

Car broke down. Needed alternator replaced. I supplied the part and for 150 bucks and about 30 mins or so my family was back on the road again. Thanks Bernie he was a very nice man with fair prices.

Decided to go with this local small business to get my oil changed and brakes done due to the fact my mother took her car in a month before and they were honest with her and didn t try to sell her something she didn t need. I m glad I did, they did a wonderful job at a very fair price. I will be taking both my vehicles to them from here on out.Services: Brakes, Oil change

I didn t even have a experience yet because the hours for Saturday are wrong. Pulled up at 8:08am and closed when it says 8-2.I didn t want to go to Brake Masters because I would rather support local businesses.Not sure if it s because it s the 4th of July weekend.

Charged $200 for spark plugs even though I had brought my own. At least it was dead and fast.Didnt even set them correctly and loose wires that had to be reconnected.Dont waste ur money here

I had gone to another shop repeatedly for an issue with my brakes and parking brake. They never fixed it right, but to their credit, tried to make it right on 2 separate occasions.Then I remembered Bernie, his shop has been in business for years but I thought maybe he closed because it used to be called Brakes Plus.Bernie did it right the first time and alerted me to tread wear on my tires without being sales-y..Price was great too!I highly recommend. My wife and I were on my way home to South Carolina from Arizona when I heard a noise in my car. Being an auto mechanic myself, I knew it was a hub bearing going bad and that if I didn't get it fixed we would break down on the road. We were staying overnight in Las Cruces so I looked for a place to hopefully get it repaired in the morning. I went to Bernie's at 7:45, explained my story and the car was on the lift being repaired 10 minutes later. I couldn't have expected better service if I had been a lifelong customer. I was done before 9AM and the price was exactly what I expected. A perfectly professional job at the right price. You can't ask for anything more.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Awesome, came in on a Saturday 8am, the owner Bernie jumped right on it! Terrific and adequate service, very knowledgeable, and polite! I highly recommend anyone stop in for your daily tune ups & oil changes, they also do struts and shocks! Great quality work for a real good price I'm very pleased with the work and price 5 s

My car basically broke down while I was passing through Las Cruces because the fan belt came off. Thankfully, Bernie agreed to work on it when I called his shop early the next morning. He's a nice guy, straight to the point, he got me back up and running quickly! He was also quick to address my concerns and answer questions I had. Seems very knowledgable with auto repair, would definitely go back to him if I needed work done and was in the area. Thanks Bernie!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Bernie is a great guy who has kept my various used vehicles running for some years now. He is fair, honest and does good work. That's all I ask for from an auto repair shop, but it's so rare to actually find it. I'm so glad I did!

An okay place for small maintenance but don't let him do anything major! He replaced my timing belt once and when I picked up the car it was "singing". I told him it that meant it was too tight and he started arguing with me saying it would stretch and that he did not need to fix it. My girl drove it for months and it never quited down, "singing" just as loud as the day I picked it up. We gave it to her daughter 13 months later and on her way home to Oregon the car broke down. We had it towed to a shop near them and guess what they found, a broken timing belt. This time it took out the valves and a perfectly good car was now dead. Bernie, bad mechanic and horrible customer service! Stick to oil changes.

Quality work without the inflated prices! The owner and his son are very honest, clean, knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They never try to push extra sales on you, and they make very honest recommendations. Free inspections are a plus. I don t trust anyone else with my car. I m a loyal customer for life!

I ve taken my charger there to get my brakes done and to get new tires a couple of months ago. He did a great job on the install and charges decent prices. I will take my car back for a brake job or for new tires when I need it.

Fast and affordable. Dropped my truck off at noon to get front and back brakes and rotars replaced. They had me back on the road by 3pm. Great place to work with, I highly recommend.

I looked all over Las Cruces for a good honest shop to get some work done on my 07 Chevy Avalanche LTZ it started to feel like I was just going to have to pay a high unfare price no matter what. But then all my luck turned around when I found Bernie's Auto Repair they gave my a fare price on the labor and had my truck in and out before I could even finish watching a YouTube video I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family.
