Shopping the web for 4 new tires for my 53 Plymouth wagon, found Adams Tire. Suzy and Rick were a great help in choosing Uniroyal Tiger Paws. They were very easy to work with regarding some special installation challenges since this car is over 60 years old. Great job on the mounting and balancing as well. The tires ride and handle well. Good price too. This is a great tire shop, been around for many years, and dealing with Suzy and Rick was like a trip back to the good old days.Edit: Stopped by recently (late 2023) and building was closed. Looks like they may have either moved or just shut down. sorry to see that, I really enjoyed the "old school" style shop and great service.

Been using Adams for several years.Always good service and fair prices. I paid about the same price four tires balanced road hazard Etc as I would have paid for the just the tires at the dealership that's a huge savings.Of course the quality of the tires I got was actually better than when I've gotten at the dealer.I've also had repair work done there.I never had a problem with the repair or the price. I'm not an expert but I've done enough mechanical work on my cars to know when someone is trying to rip me off and the folks have Adams I've always been great.

Today I called Jason at the shop and told him my predicament. I was staying at a nearby campground and noticed two wires hanging out from under my car almost dragging on the ground. Since I was doing a long road trip from Missouri to California to go to work, as a solo female traveler I was very concerned that if I didn t get this looked at it could cause me serious problems later on my trip. These guys are quick, honest, reliable and do not price gouge. This means a lot to me. Because very often mechanics try to take advantage of women, especially solo travelers from out of town. I highly recommend taking your car here. I have a sense of relief that I can now travel and not worry about my cables hanging down anymore. Thanks to these guys I can now relax and enjoy my trip without worry.

I brought my Truck into Adam's Truck shop for an oil change and the mechanic noticed a bubble in my tire and saved me from a possible accident. I ordered some aftermarket rims and got four all new tires.

Rick and the staff at Adams Tire & Auto accomplished a difficult task in a timely manner, and charged a reasonable price. I like the confidence I now have to drive out in the desert, having had the full AAA-specified inspection and maintenance of a car that had been sitting the whole two years of the pandemic.Very high on my list for my next auto issue.

Have been to this tire center 3 times now. The first time was great and we ended up getting the tire fixed and I was on my way.The second time I was getting ready to drive out to the field in my truck, when I noticed the tire was really low pressure (same one that had previously been patched a couple days before). Went to Adam's at 8am (no other customers and only 30 min after opening) to see if they could put some air in it and fix it later when I got back (should be a 30sec fix right???). The one guy working on a car there said he couldn't help me because he was the only one there, even though all I was asking for was air in the tire and there wasn't a single customer in sight. He said to wait about 10 min and someone would be there to help. After 15 min I told him thanks, but no thanks, to which he wondered why I was leaving. Drove down the road to Big O Tires (which was swamped with customers) and in 2 minutes was filled up and on my way.Third time was getting another patch for the tire. Waited ~1.5 hrs to get the patch fixed. I didn't have my credit card to pay at the time so I told them I'd go home, grab it and come back, and they insisted I come back as soon as I can to pay for it (totally reasonable). When I come back it turns out they all left for lunch for an hour and left someone to look after the place, but she was no help in something as simple as paying for a tire patch.Really friendly staff, slow service, always playing gospel/church music. Their auto techs are really nice and up front with you about any issues. I'm heading to Big O Tires from now on. I recommend you all do too.

Don't be fooled by clean entrance and folksy vibe...these guys either have favorites or don't really care about their work. I really wanted to like them and trust them. I am not a car guy and I looked to the online reviews for guidance. I held off on writing this review because I thought I should think on it but the more I think about it the less satisfied I am with my experience there and I thought I'd warn others who might be fooled by their good reviews online. I took my Hyundai Tuscon in because I needed to rotate my tires and I noticed my stick shift was just slightly less responsive than when I'd purchased it, Well, we drove it around, Bill said he couldn't tell anything was wrong, and so in addition to rotating tires they switched out hydraulic fluid. That was the last time my car drove the way it used to. The clutch started getting worst and eventually failed. Paid to have it towed to their shop and I was basically without a vehicle for over two weeks. I had to call every few days to check in and I felt like I was bugging them, even though I felt like the communication should have gone both ways. I bought an entire new clutch kit and they installed it, but within a week there were other issues driving it. It would get run rough on the highway and then when I came to a stop, it would get stuck in first gear. I took it back two times and they acted like I made it up as it wouldn't do that when they drove it. Finally it did do the clutch freeze thing and they did some other work on it (this was back in Feb-Mar) but to this day it has never been fixed. My chief complaint is that they never seemed to try and figure out the problem. Bill acted like if I couldn't tell them the problem they couldn't help. They just fixed the minimum problem as best I could describe it and seemed content with that. I guess I just thought since they were the experts, they would take some ownership of the issue and try and get my car running again. I sunk a few grand into the whole or ordeal but I have never been able to get my car to work again and now it just sits where I parked it last. I'm rating them low based on not caring, bad communication (I kept having to re-new rental car at a higher rate due to not knowing), and not getting my car to run again, even though there hadn't been many issues leading up to the whole ordeal before they started "working" on it. Maybe they are a good place for some people but whether they are or not, I would not recommend them to someone who was not a car person themselves. I held off this review for awhile, but when I see they are still rated highly i feel like that is not representative of my experience.

worst experience i ve ever had with a mechanic charged me 91 dollars to do an oil change on a 76 bug kept it for 5 days the only updates i got were when i called because there was no word on they re side and i also had him check some of the wiring. when i got my car back all my carpet was torn up and my battery cannot hold power any more when i called to ask if they messed with the battery he said no but obviously it had to be whatever they were doing with the wires i used to take all my cars here and recommend them to everyone but i will never come here again.

Had my pickup towed here to have repaired. After 3 days and no word, I found out that they had not even looked at it. I had the pickup towed to another shop and these guys charged me $100 for storage. I am a AAA member and should have gotten a $50 discount. That didn't happen. So if you take your vehicle to this shop, be prepared to pay $100 just to pull it inside their fence and that is above and beyond the cost of repairs.

Bought a brand new tire for it to only go out 14 days later, was told they would repair it for me so I took it in. They claimed to be super busy and was told to just leave the tire, only to get a phone call 7 hours later with them saying there was nothing they could do.They insisted on blaming me, stating that in the short time from whenever the tire went flat to the point I noticed (at which point I instantly swapped on a spare) it had worn too much. Was told I would've been protected if I had only purchased the additional warranty, the warranty that was neither mentioned or offered to me when I purchased this tire new and was told my only option would be to buy a new tire. I wanted to support this local business after my first visit there was good but this experience has ensured I will never do business there again.

Had an issue with my brakes while on a roadtrip. I already had the night booked in Tucson and was worried, I wouldn't make it there that same day. Jason and Rick diagnosed and showed me the issue and offered me a fair price. Within 2 hours my car had new rotors and brake pads and I was on my way to Tucson! Highly recommend these guys!

Our van broke down when we were camping. The guys at AAA recommended they drop us off at Adams. We presumed something was wrong with our fuel pump and sure enough after an hour or so wait, they told us our fuel pump was dead and they could order us a new one that would be there the following day. We are musicians on tour and had an extra day to spare to fix the van and get us back en route for Texas.Next day, new fuel pump arrives and doesn't work. Blamed it on faulty parts. So they had to order another one from El Paso. 2nd new fuel pump arrives and again, doesnt work. We make it about 500ft down the roadbefore the van up and dies. They have to replace some part located on the fuel pump to get it working. In my mind I am baffled. Literally 2 new fuel pumps and both somehow dont work out the gates? To me, I had a feeling that the fuel pump wasn't the problem. But, they insisted it must be this part on the fuel pump that wasn't working. So we book our 2nd night at a hotel, and they come in on their day off, Saturday, to fix it. While I was grateful, when they said things like, "well we're not making any money on this", all I could think of is how I had to cancel two shows and book two nights in Las Cruces, totally $2000 in loss.Once our van started working, it wasn't long into our journey that our van would again, die. So now we're stuck in the middle of Texas having the same issues we had when we dropped off our van.We had a mobile mechanic show up and diagnose the problem. We had a loose ground connection on the fuel pump connector. This would explain why every fuel pump they installed had issues and didnt work to begin with. He quickly fixed the problem and we've been fine for the last few weeks with no issues.Waste of $700+ on a misdiagnosis. Wish I could get my money back.

Wow! My BFF, Sue, recommended this place because my other mechanic went out of business. These guys are quick, honest & reliable. It's hard to find good car repair places that won't rip off a clueless gal like myself. I'm thankful I found Adam's Tire and Auto Center because I know I'm going to get fair prices and quality work. I love the positive energy at this shop.

At worst, total fraud. At best, the absolute worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Suzanne didn't look/acknowledge me when walked in but continued her conversation. Very unfriendly and unprofessional. After getting my car back, I had to take it to another mechanic shop an pay an extra $700 and took pictures of what they jacked up. Car went in without check engine light on and left with one. When I called, they claimed it had come in that way, which was 100% false, and they didn't even call me to tell me the check engine light was on. Suspicious, since they called me to make absolute certain I wouldn't charge them for a car handle that was prior broken, even confirming 3x that which I already knew. I called to complain and was refused to be given any other number for upper management. More, they literally responded saying "I thought you didn't want to pay more than you had to." So apart from not alerting me to the light, they try to cover up saying I should have paid more for them leaving my car in worse condition than when it arrived. WORST MOST COSTLY EXPERIENCE. Do not recommend.

Adam s Tire greatly overstates their experience\knowledge with working on European vehicle(s). Brought vehicle in the first halve of 2019. Merchant had to revise completion date on four occasions and had I not call to confirm pickup time on two of those occasions would not have found out about delay until arrival at shop to pick up vehicle. Poor customer service regarding communication to paying client on vehicle status. Within 36 hours of picking up vehicle we noticed a leak with fresh\new mechanical fluid. Brought it to the Adam's Tires attention however they did not feel responsible but failed to elaborate as to why. Had the vehicle repaired at another shop. Diagnosis was a damaged seal. We contacted Adam s Tire and left them a voice mail requesting 50% of the repair cost to resolve this matter. Adam s Tire failed to return my call nor would not answer additional calls during store hours. It strongly appears that they were screening our calls. Wrote them a certified letter as to why I felt that they were responsible for the leak. I further inquired why my vehicle was given a less than 2-mile test drive considering the substantial work that was done on it ($3,000 worth). In the letter I strongly pointed out that our vehicle was delivered in a potentially unsafe condition. However, Adam s Tire like the previous voicemail and prior phone calls again elected not to respond. I fail to understand how a mechanic one that claims to be a good mechanic can in good faith deliver a vehicle to their customers in a potentially unsafe condition and blow off their customers when they ask them to make it right.Escalated the matter through the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Adams Tires replied to the BBB communication but did not address the issues I presented before them, such as why they refused to respond to my voicemail, phone calls or certified letter, did they work on the damage seal in question and why the vehicle was only given at a 2-mile test drive to name a few. Adams Tire appeared to offer store credit versus cash to resolve this matter. I responded to them directly and the BBB sent Adam s tire a similar letter on my behalf. Both letters requested clarification and detailed information on their offer. However, Adam s Tire again elected not to respond. Six weeks later the BBB sent Adam s Tire the same letter requesting clarification\detailed information of their offer but Adam s elected not to respond to that letter as well. Looking back it seems their offer which needed clarification of what was being offered was hollow and nothing more to show good faith on their part to the BBB. It should be noted that the BBB has no real power to enforce or submit solutions as their primary objective is to act as a neutral third party and establishing communication between both parties to resolve the dispute. In my opinion Adams Tire is aware of this and knows most people do not have the time nor resources to pursue this matter in civil court so they chose to ignore their dissatisfied customers. Please consider other reputable mechanics who do not ignore their customers when a mistake is made on their end hoping that their wronged clients will eventually go away nor have any issue righting\resolving their mistake.

A few days ago I called your firm because I was having a lot of trouble. My truck just wasn't getting fuel and the gas would vaporize leaving us dead on the road. The previous day I had spent $160 at the Chevy dealer where one tank was cleaned and a new fuel valve installed. Your counsel regarding the winter blend of gas and the extreme heat was all I really needed. Thank you for taking the time to explain that gas was the problem not the truck. Your integrity and assistance will not be forgotten. Please share my appreciation with your boss who is to be commended for having you on his staff.

They saved us. Gave us a ridiculously low price for 2 days of repairs and made sure my son, 2 dogs and I had a safe place to sleep while they did an amazing job. Really went the extra mile... make that 800 miles. They made sure we got home. A business you can trust!

Recently we were on our way from Texas to Arizona when we experienced a problem with our vehicle, so we stopped at Adam's Tire & Auto Center in Las Cruces, NM. In a matter of 20 minutes the expert mechanics found the solution and we were on our way to Arizona - where we arrived safely and on time. We highly recommend this shop where there is real expertise. Choosing Adam's Tire & Auto Center was God's blessing for our trip.

On a long road trip we had an emergency and called Adam s. They took us right away and we were back on the road in two hours. We use AAA recommended places which has always helped plus we got a discount as well. The people were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Cracked my oil pan on New Years Day, they ordered the part over-night ( the shop wasn't even open on New Year's Day, the owner was just incredibly nice) and fixed it the next day! Other electrical issues caused the car fix to be delayed longer, but would definitely be happy to break down (as much as one could be) here again!

Awesome! I went with my daughter to go eat lunch and my vehicle quit. Suzy answered the phone. They had just shut down but said her and her husband would come look at it. They came to the restaurant and found the tensioner had broken. Rick went back to the shop, got his truck and flat bed, came back and took our car back to the shop. Suzy then took me and my daughter back home. They are always so friendly and willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Thank you so much!!

Jason and Rick were friendly, and most importantly, they were professional. They treated our sports car with kid gloves, and installed new tires on delicate aluminum rims without a problem. We will be repeat customers.

I gave my car for one problem the first time and they ended up messing other stuff for which I had to go to them again. They did the same thing and I had to go again. They ripped me of a lot of money and my relatively new car that was never even in any accident has many new problems that did not exist before. Worst experience!
