According to the employees, the regional manager of this store made the decision to only use self checkout. I suggest a new regional manager, this one s a part of the problem in this country. Douche Bag for sure.

You can find just about any thing that you could possibly need from fresh delicious pizza slice or the whole thing ! Yum! sandwiches burgers drinks candy fruit it's more then a stop for a fill up for your vehicle fill up your tummies get full ! Need something for your automobile well good chance you'll find it here! Stop on by don't just take my word check it out for yourself

It s a clean store but they always block the washing machines so customers can t use them. Unfortunately they are the only Pilot/Flying J within 100 miles that has washing machines. The other pilots don t have so the fact that they always block them off when they are working to use them for the store when they have store machines is pretty messed up. Not to mention they recently stopped serving breakfast so all they have all day long is pizza and lunch or dinner. Idk what s going on but it s getting worse at this pilot.

I like this truck stop but when I come in to shower and watch the guy that cleans the showers use a squeegee to remove water and a dirty wash cloth to wipe down the sink a dirty towel to mop the floor no chemicals were used to sanitize the showers the toilet wasn't even wiped down this guy did this to 3 showers with everything going around now a days you figure it would be cleaned alot better

Staff is friendly but they allow drivers to use the gas lanes as parking spots. I have to wait 30 - 45 minutes most times to get diesel; waiting until the driver moves away from the pump if at all

Nice clean store, tons of hot food!! This Pilot basically serves the oilfield, it is almost completely oilfield traffic.... I was the only reefer trailer in the lot. Super busy truck stop.

Got gas station, great parking around the store to rest in your vehicle. Prices in the store are to be expected. Decent selection of FR and Oilfield safety stuff inside. Great coffee selection

Must be selling customer s information when they scan IDs. I usually decline due to privacy concerns, once last month I was in a hurry, and let them.. today I get a promotion in the mail from the company that sells the product I use.

First off, let me say Sheila was AMAZING! She was THE ONLY cashier there at the hour I entered the store. There were 6 people in line for showers..some were upset yet some understood (like myself) not to mention the many individuals that were there purchasing others items etc! Sheila informed everyone who was getting a shower she was THE ONLY one!! And she hasn t gotten around to cleaning showers yet because there were customers after customers coming in!! Sheila is the face you need on your company pilot. She needs to be recognized for this night/morning!! We had to wait, true enough. But Sheila did EVERYTHING I look for in customer service. She s nice, kind, and was very informative! Sheila is amazing Sheila is amazing Sheila is amazing! And I personally thanked Sheila after my shower! Once again Mrs. Sheila, you are amazing and don t forget that. Thank you again! *fist bump*

I love this Pilot! Mostly everyone here is so nice. This place is always busy with all the oil field workers but they still keep the store clean. I like the big showers, they are big and always have hot water. Keep up the great work!

Very good hot food, but would like to see a larger selection of steamed veggies. Also, a wider selection of sugar free snacks (ice cream, chocolates, cookies) would be greatly appreciated.Staff is friendly and helpful, and do a terrific job maintaining cleanliness, considering the store's customer volume.

Great location in the middle of nowhere basically. This place is a beacon of civilization in the heart of a very depressing little Hamlet like Jal, NM. Very clean and well kept. The bathrooms are never a truck stop nightmare. The folks that work the store and registers are very personable and kind. The store is kept stocked no matter how busy they get. Fuel islands are maintained constantly. The only down side to this location are their exterior ice houses. They often don't accept payments as the system is often acting up. When they do take payment, the ice that fills the bags is usually accompanied by a half to 3/4 gallon of water. They do their best to keep those machines running but mostly people just run across the road from their location to use the exterior ice houses there.

Friendly and nice ladies. Always clean, well stocked, and good fresh food. They sell most everything you need on the road. I asked if they would have a book display with Bible's in it like other Pilots and my request was well received.

I love Pilot 1165 in Jal, NM. The people are friendly. They help with whatever you may need. The food is great. The Deli staff works very hard to make sure everyone gets their food in a timely manner. The cashiers are there to help check you out as soon as possible.

Holy highway robbery! I know it's the oilfield, but come on. Wings w/ sides listed as $9. Rings up@$15... I complain. Told 9$ is the wings then add the sides. Fix your sinage to be honest at least.

I wish there were more opportunity s for Spanish people to get managers position only white people on charge they act like they own the company and forgot they are just employees I would give them minus cero but sense there is no cero i give them 1 star, Mexican employees working ,white managers talking drinking coffee and having a good personal conversation on pilot f/j time card

This Travel station earns 5 star in my estimation. They have become the Hub in this industry In the Jal Area and Even as far as Eunice. Friendly and courteous service at all times. The lines may be long, that's because everyone will have to stop here as this is the one store that will have all you need then some more. Keep on keeping on guys.

Out of several states connected that I work through this is the only truck stop that forces you to wear a mask, forcing someone to wear a mask is illegal. I used to really like this store and have spent hundreds here. Not anymore you can keep your store I ll take my money somewhere else

In my experience as a consumer, it is an irreresponsibility of the manager if this place makes sure that the employees who bring symptoms of covi-19 did not give them permission to quarantine they are threatened with firing them or I have asthma I suffer from high blood pressure among other complications like this I do not recommend getting to buy any food directly in this store in Jal NM

One of the newest places in Jal, it's also one of the cleanest. There's a nice assortment of healthy choices plus reasonably unhealthy options. Because of the prime location and its "newness", the Pilot will typically have long lines within the store. The lines will quickly be dispersed though, in a reasonably timely manner. The busiest times to visit the Pilot in Jal will normally be between 0500-0700 and 1700-1900, going by what lots of people call "Texas time" and what everyone else calls "Central Standard Time". There are large bathrooms and showers here, and cleanliness is definitely on par with any upscale travel station. This is a travel station that you can visit with confidence. Do it!

Most Pilot stations now have new coffee machines and they are friggin awesome!!!! Fresh ground beans brewed super fast make the most awesomest coffee you've ever tasted and it even has a little foam on top after brewing, now you know that's some damn good coffee if it has foam on the top after brewing!!! Love the Pilot coffee!!!

Clean inside and out. Not a shady oilfield town quick stop like many you find in East NM/West TX. Big variety of drinks and snacks, gas pumps work consistently, and the windshield squeegee buckets have clean, soapy water.

It's a new facility. Ample pump quantity and about average prices. Food is better than average and the store has a small selection of quick need items.
