Kendall and the hard working tire and auto pros at Point S Tire, on Coal Ave, quickly service the alignment I desperately needed today for my pickup. I've used them a few times for tires too, really good company.

Bought tires on sale and put on the wrong size. Went back the next day after ordering 2 more tires. The manager refused to honor sale price. Tires went 375$ each to 500$. No reason given, just very disrespectful. The techs seemed nice but did not check the work they did and made a mistake. Will see if they honor warentee if that comes up. Management lacking professional customer service. I wonder if there is any racial stuff. Non natives seemed to be well treated. Vote with your $.

I love the service they perform! They are professional and highly educated to let you know if they detect a problem. I recommend this place for oil change, tire rotation and auto inquiries.

Got an oil change, but the person behind the counter did not know how much it was going to cost and he didn't know if it was going to be regular or synthetic oil. He said I have to ask across the street where they would look it up. So, across the street they didn't look anything up but said they go by the oil cap. So, long story short, I was charged plus $25 to use a new oil plug which I purchased. I should have been told it was going cost $25. The previous oil change was done here too. They over tightened my oil plug. Ps: we've bought a lot of tireds from here before, I don't know about that anymore. Everything is going up, and fair service was not here.

My family and I were moving to Colorado and needed trailer tires fast. The crew at Point S got us in, changing all the tires and back on the road in about 30 minutes! I hope to never need tires again when in Gallup, but if I do, I m going to Point S!

Unhonest people there, said I needed suspension parts and they ll order when I didn t need any. I had other techs look nothing was wrong, should ve listened to what I heard I ll take my business elsewhere

Excellent tire company that actually cares about saving you money when you re in a crunch.Experienced a flat while traveling from California to Daytona Beach, Florida.They changed my tire and saved me a good amount of money.Actually they were the reason I was able to continue my travel safely.

If you get there 30 minutes before it opens took 40 minutes to fix a tire with a screw/nail in it. Total time an hour for 22.73$ pretty damn good. Way to go Gallup Point S you actually did a franchise proud unlike any fast food franchise in town that is just ruined by terrible Gallup Employees. I am very impressed with this spot. A+ Point S employees.

They were awesome.Only place in town with the tire size we needed. Mounted it to our rim so we could get back to the stranded vehicle thank you all so much.

Fast service, nice staff. Gallup is pot hole central and we popped a tire. I called this place as one of the locals recommended it. They were very helpful on the phone. I showed up around 10am and they already had 5 cars in the shop. However they helped me right away and get my tires changed within 30 mins. It costed $150 for my tire for labour and everything which is not terrible. Also comes with flat warranty which I thought was pretty awesome.

I dropped my vehicle off for some tire work today. I waited in the lobby while the work was being completed. Apparently the tech took a little longer than usual so the Manager of the shop waived the cost. I could not believe it. Thank you very much Point S American Tire!

Besides the 1.5 hr wait, was worth it seeing them put on new tires then balance them before putting them back on.... then they actually bagged the good used tires before loading

Well what can I say ... As for us (womens) .. sometimes we rely on the experts (someone we think knows around what goes on under the hood) for help.. of course some are honest and gets the job done and then there's some who don't.. just there to make the paycheck .. well here goes .. I took in my vehicle in on Friday 7-14 for them to change my tires (front tires cuz I purchased 2 new ones and while on the job I guess the jack slipped and fell and cracked my oil pan .. was leaking so I left it over there for the weekend for them to fix it and get me an oil change as well and pick it up until Tuesday.. when I was ready to pick up my ride it made some strange noise coming from the engine .. apparently they shoved the oil stick way in there and it was touching something and that's why it was making that noise .. took it back and they fixed it .. so for all this no charge on the tires and the oil change cuz they made that problem themselves... Afterwards bought it home and the oil change light came on and we were wondering why that came on so my other half check the oil and decided to make the oil change again himself .. and this is what we found out .. they did replace the oil pan but they put in old oil back in ( I mean old old old oil .. cuz it was freaking black ....ish ... Isn't it supposed to be lighter color not really really black.. so we did the oil change ourselves again and our ride is running smooth as usual... A heads up to everyone... Double check your vehicle before leaving the premises... Good luck to folks that deal with Point S tire .. very unsatisfied customer here

These guys are awesome. We had the wheel and tire off the car rolled in and these guys were done with dismount/mount and balance in no joke 5 mins. Great humor. Thank you guys for the the quick help.

I had a tire emergency, and these guys got me in and out in a jiffy, while my family was stranded waiting for me. They were courteous and professional! It is rare that you find a business with heart, and these guys have it!

Thanks to Kendall and the great tire techs here for fixing my flat. I took my tire to the original store (f***stone)to see if they would honor their warranty of flat repairs. They said they checked it out and there was no leaks and maybe the sensor was picking up the change in weather...a day later I finally took it back to Point S for a second opinion and sure enough they found a nail. Thanks again.

This place could use some Professional Customer Service once in awhile. They hardly smile or greet their customer's as they walk in. Nobody tries to offer any kind of sale for the week..or offer some kind of discount for being a loyal customer. Greeting your customers as they walk in, is a must at any business in town. They have no knowledge on explaining any questions about any vehicles, they just tell you that "They don't fix the rides, you have to ask the mechanic across the shop" with no explanation. I understand theirs only male employees at Points Tires, which I have no problem with, but if these male employees at Points want to bring in more revenue sales, or customers to come back. They seriously need to work on their communications skill's by simply saying "Good Morning" "Welcome to Points" just letting their customers know their acknowledge Overall "Points Tires" had lost its Invitation to Professionalism, Courtesy, Forgiveness and Sales.. Prices has gone up. Bad Service thru out the day. Sincerely unsatisfied customer.

Management is awesome .. The employees are great as well, so we'll organized. Their Team work effort is fantastic, they get the job done rgt and quick yet with perfection. Kevin you manage a great team of workers whom know what they are doing at their job. Thank you for fixing my tire problem . have a wonderful day

Point S is hands down the best!!!We had some tire trouble they got us right in so we could get back on the road and enjoy the rest of our vacation and we're so helpful and friendly!!!

They mounted & balanced my tires within 30 minutes or so. The wheel alignment took 4 more hours but that was my fault for going in so late. Going home, the ride was quite rough. Come to find out, my tires had been over inflated. They should have been set at 35 but instead they were set at 40, 45, 47 & 50. I recommend they teach their staff how to use a tire guage & how to read a door jam to see what the tire inflation specs are. They would have received 5 stars had the been more attentive to this detail.

Worst place to go for a wheel alignment After waiting three hours I lost patience and ended up taking my vehicle back. I got no apology for the long wait an had to walk across the street in the snow to pick my vehicle.

I had bought 2 tires from them. I did say to make sure the inner rims were cleaned prior to balancing. After they finished, I found they did not clean the inner rims and they did the balance anyway. I did talk to them about that and they wanted me to wait another 2 hrs for re-balance. Just don't make sense. Make sure to check their work. Also, I had a flat tire, it was late. I found they were still open. I did call with about 25 minutes to close to see if they can assist me. They did say to come in and so I showed up and they they said they were closing. This was with 18 min left. I did tell the guy up front that I did call and the individual I talked to said to come on in. No longer a customer.

These guys were great and fast. On the way back from a road trip from Colorado to California the tire on my pop up camper blew out. I put on the spare and made it to Gallup. I saw a highway sign on I-40 for American Tire Factory so I headed straight there once I got into town. They were super nice, had the tires I needed, and had me out the door in less than an hour. They come highly recommended.

My first time experience with them was on a rainy day and I needed two new rims and they were the only one who had it in stock. I had to travel back to phx the next day. I was thankful they had the rims and one tire I needed but, they after I paid for what I wanted done, my brother (a mechanic) pointed out that they charged me an extra tire that I never received and it wasn't the brand that was on the invoice. I called back the very next day and demanded they help me out, but they said they couldn't do anything over the phone and that I need to bring it in. Keep in mind I'm living In phx and my car is in no shape for long distance travel. Not only did they charge me an extra tire they also charged me for balancing 2 times a total of 4 balances. I asked over the phone to explain to why you did 4 balancing when they were only working on the 2 front tires and never touched my back tires. He refused to work with me and explain any further. He kept repeating I can't help you over the phone and this was the manager. He wouldn't give me any explanation for any questions after he realized that I wanted my refund. They did everything I asked them to do but charged me extra which is wrong to do to their own people. I honestly was thankful for their help at the time and now they disgust me. Always check your receipt after paying and have them show you what they worked on your car. I'm very thankful for my brother who caught that mistake.

I worked in the tire service for nearly 10 years. So i do have the experience and knowledge of how to work with every single tire that came before me. I know the amount of time it takes to do a tire repair and mounting back onto the vehicle. And yet, i nearly had to wait for almost 2 hours for them to do nothing on my vehicle. Nothing. I waited patiently and tried to give the guys a chance. But nothing. I under stand that there was costumers that was ahead of me for their tires to be serviced but being in the field for as long as i have. It doesnt take 2 hrs to do a simple job. I had to leave and go elsewhere because i had an appointment in Farmington. Shaffers Tire did the job right away when i got there.

Not enough workers and their service was slow..I wanted 2 tires and they said wait times was like 4 hours I understand it was a Saturday and alot of customers are off on those days to get things done...but you would think to get workers in on those days. So I found a place and was taken care of right away

I went in for a quick tire rotation and i was out in 20 minutes! It was the best customer service i've gotten , ever! They were so friendly too especially since I have no clue about this stuff!

Pep Boys said they were too busy to get a tire changed today. A quick look in their bays said that was BS.Point S was 2x as busy, worked us in immediately, and had us in and out in 20 minutes.Highly recommend.
