I had to renew my registration, and I was thinking it's going to be a long wait, but to my surprise, I was through the process in less than ten minutes. I was blown away at how fast I got my tag. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Thank you for making the process easy and fast

I can't even get my youngest son's ID or DL although he has mail in his name and his name on our apartment contract. He don't have any other proof of residence.

In the past I had to wait hours and would often leave frustrated. I went back recently and was greeted and out within 30 minutes! I was pleased with the service. Great job Gallup MDV employees!

We were not greeted, we walked in, a rude lady helped us, gave us literally little to no information on what we were trying to do, The MVD in Grant's is way more friendly and quicker, so much more helpful, the MVD Express in Rio Rancho offered so much more help and worked with us, go to a different office instead of Gallup if possible.

This place always has the rudest ladies that never speak nicely to you. They always have a stick up their @$$. Why are they mad when we are the ones jumping through their stupid hoops to just get a driver's license? Receptionist gave us the wrong form when we specifically told her our situation. Then the lady at the window says it's the wrong form for what we needed. Why tf do they even have a receptionist that doesn't know anything and gives you the wrong info wasting our time. Also the stupid website doesnt let you make an appointment for what you need. We go inside and they say you need to make an appointment online .

Motor vehicle department needs to fire all the instructors and get professionals in there, because not one single person in Gallup know how to drive, it's common sense all around, pay attention to your surroundings, look twice both ways, use signals when turning, know you're right of way, and rights, etc.

Not very efficient or helpful. I've lived in many states and never had this many issues getting my DL switched over.

Appointment only works great. Staff was very helpful. They clean seating and high touch items frequently. Hopefully this type of service continues.

Worst MVD in the area. Working only half days and picking and choosing who to accommodate. Absolutely ridiculous!! There was a time when you could just walk into an MVD appointment or not you'd get seen, regardless. Nowadays picking and choosing and half days and lazy half a** employees.

Clean building with sufficient room for waiting. Waits can be long but not as bad as other places I ve been. Vending machines inside. Number system is employed and staff are always professional and never rude like some people say. Smiling at a customer while serving them isn t part of their job. From what I ve seen the customers are rude to them and not the other way around.

Reservation system was good, but paid for a 2 year registration on RV in October, had 15 months left and wouldn't transfer any of the remaining to new RV.

Been here almost an hour and a half and the only numbers called are people checking in while the rest of us sit and wait. You would think the lines would move faster since they do this every day!!

Reading all the reviews. And how rude the employees are at Gallup MVD is true. We write all these reviews doesn't MVD main office in Santa Fe read what we write. Seems like we all had rude customer service at MVD. Somebody from Santa Fe needs to come down and see how we are treated here. Maybe have Larry Barker come down and do an investigation on MVD Gallup office. Mystery shoppers would work also. I think I'll go someplace else to renew my CDL. Rude, rude, rude is all I can say about this place.

Need updates on time when closed and when it's open ... When you're allowed to see customers with or without appointment jeez... Really frustrating

People seemed friendly enough if you can figure out which line to stand in and see someone. The computer system was giving directions that were not to be followed. I stood in the wrong line while 5 people got ahead of me. The first in line went first. The number I got coming in the door didn't count.

For this Gallup MVD office, staff do need to have a better attitude toward the costumers especially window #1 and window #6 they are the worst!! Window #5 I didn't have a problem with her, came up to the window say hello and she said hello back, she notice I was looking for the number that came on.....that's the one thing they need to do is keep the lighted numbers on for at least 30 seconds NOT for 1 second! And keep the numbers in a row, it will be 210, 211, then it will jump to 235, 239!! Back down to the numbers it started with! But the place was packed!! No seats available to sit, there were some people who was frustrated, when I have to come to the MVD, there are some frustrated people. There is a 4th grade big piece of paper on a pole written on for registration, renewal, license. Will say for us women who is married, this happen when I came up to window #1 had my papers for getting my lincen renewed, when she look at my birth certificate and my license she look at me and said my last names is different (with a attitude) ....I said my last name on my driver license is my married name, then she ask for my marriage license(still with an attitude).....wasn't mention on website to bring that! So she said she not going any further with all if this because I don't have any proof of my last names being different(still with the attitude), so I had to go home and get my marriage license but I did say to her before I left if the papers I had with me if all I needed or if I forgot some to bring(holding my anger), so she went thru and said that I need a present utility bill not a past due and a marriage license.....GRR!!! SO I went home and came back with the present utility bill and my marriage license. Had to go again and wait for the numbers going back and forth till my ticket number come up. Notice a women at window #6 she was p%%% off, she was talking loud, she had to bring not only her marriage license BUT her divorce papers! Guess she had her former married name on her license? Most likely I'm going to Grants MVD next time, hearing that MVD is so much better.

The employees are SO RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, IMPOLITE, BAD-MANNERED, & UNEDUCATED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I have been here many times because they keep asking me for more documents, so this was my third time coming here & the lady at window #5 didn't even look at me when I walked up to the window, she rudely asked me for my documents, I quickly gave her my documents & she replied "you don't have to throw your documents at me!"... I replied "whatever"... she threw my documents at me and told me to sit down, I replied "look whos throwing them now" and I sat down... then I was called by another rude lady employee at window #6, she didn't even look at me too when I walked up to the window, and rudely asked me for my documents... I gave them to her and she asked me to take off my beanie...I slid it back and she immediately turned her head at me, staring at me, I didn't know why she was staring at me when everyone else was wearing hats and there was no sign about no beanies allowed, but I took it off, I felt I was being targeted because I had been told to sit down and wait before. Then I simply asked if my mail had to be taken out of the envelope and she replied "come back up when your documents are ready" I asked "so does that mean yes?"... she angrily replied "YES!".... I sat down and waited for the next window. I don't understand why they were being so mean to me...all I wanted to do was change my id.. In the end, I went to the Albuquerque MVD. Obviously Gallup MVD employees need to reread their job describtion!! Obviously they get away with acting like this!! So they feel they have a right to treat everyone like this and have no repercussions! I am going to write a memo to Santa fe MVD (headquarters).
