Where to begin? First there is no front desk or person. You're greeted by a television screen and a polite gentleman from India. The cutest for a Wednesday night stay with two people and one tiny dog was $119.The room was clean. Bed was comfy.Expensive though for location and overall experience. First two sets of card keys did but work, which is frustrating. The door was janky, at best. It did not close tightly at all. The place is old and the furniture was old and gross. Bed was comfy. There was a guy on site who was very nice but you had to go back to the front desk TV and he would call the on site guy for you when you needed something. For the price there are much better options nearby.Would I stay here again or recommend this place? That would be a very firm "no" for us.

Don't bother getting a balcony room thinking you can smoke on the balcony. You can't. What's the point of that? To watch the traffic and the trains? B.S.Can't even smoke *cigarettes* on the patio, and the entire property is NOT 420 FRIENDLY, whether you are a licensed medical card holder or not. You have to go your car to be allowed to smoke, which I adhere to, but I'm not happy about it.There are train tracks right outside. I could probably hit it if I threw something at it. It's really loud, and they were running til at least 1:30 a.m. (they are currently passing as im writing this at said time). The towels were stained, the Jacuzzi tub in the King Deluxe room is teeny tiny, the corridors are labyrinthian and it all just seems like a set up for some bad, "scary" B-movie.I will say I like the desk in my room, though. It has plenty of space for me to do paperwork. 6 cubbies, 3 drawersAlso, if you have trouble understanding accents, be advised that they have outsourced their front desk staff to a video conferenced customer service rep with a heavy Hindi accent.

Nice place to stay compared to other places around. Check in was nice and easy and the guy was very nice. Everything was real clean and well taken care of. Places not far to eat and go around. Four stars because their was a lot of noise from the other guest above and across from me but not the property owners fault. Would stay again though definitely.

This is one of the worst places to ever stay I don't know how they are part of the Wyndham program. the front desk was a screen and the clerk was drunk or on drugs he kept asking the same question and would pass out. wish there was a way to upload the video I recorded the manager tried to tell me he was new and was training but we both watched him drunk and passing out he was no help the place was really bad

This place is a dump, it you care about your safety, or family and property don t stay at this hotel. The rooms are dirty and run down there is no hotel staffing or security at this dump. The lack of hotel parking lot lighting makes you and easy target to get mugged are your car being broken into or stolen . On the plus side the water pressure in the shower is great, which is most likely needed to wash the blood from the rooms or the parking lot. The AI staff in a joke.Rooms: The rooms were run down and the locks on the door can easily be defeatedSafety: Safety is a joke for the hotel guest

DO NOT STAY HERE! MOST OF IT IS CONDEMNED BY THE CITY OF GALLUP, UNSAFE, FILTHY AND MANAGEMENT WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! We are Wyndham Diamond award members and stay in many Wyndham properties with our dogs. The hotel charges a deposit on every room and we were charged 100.00. The manager, Gilda Balbas kept almost 50.00 for "dirty towels."Yes, we dirtied the towels but they can be washed and cleaned. The deposit was for damages, not cleaning linen. I took photos of our room upon checkout as I had a feeling they were dishonest, and they were. Save your money and find an alternate place to stay. It's disgusting in every way!!

I stayed in Gallup. Check in was fine, and i was accommodated when i required a room that did not require I use the stairs. The room was fine. It was clean and kempt, but had some issues. The door is not insulated, so light came in from all sides, as did any noise from the hall. There was a sliding door to the parking area so it was easy to load and unload the car, but the latch was only a lift and turn one such as you might use on a gate, and I could discern no other locking mechanism.

Although this is not a highly ranked hotel, the service provided better than most 3 and 4 star hotels. I was uncomfortable initially upon entering the lobby which could be updated.Noteworthy details: The owner is on which is beneficial.

We had a nice stay at this location. We've stayed few times here, and are never disappointed. Think the only thing I can say that may need looking at is the balcony area, the chair was full of bird poo, which happens and the screens were not usable, and the pool has way too much chlorine, and am sure these things can be corrected. Nothing big just minor issues. This hotel was clean, and comfortable. Heavy doors, kept me up opening and closing..but in general I would recommend staying here if your visiting Gallup NM. My grandkids had a wonderful time. Breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagels coffee, oj ect. I will be returning soon.

Pleasantly decorated and brightly lit room. Many a time the hotel rooms were dimly lighted and gives.a gloomy feeling. An innovative remote checkin terminal really surprised me. Check was smooth and easy. The only downside is the lack of power sockets in the room. Had to pull out one lamp socket to accommodate my laptop. Like the room and there's ample free parking.Food outlets and shopping a 5 min ride on the same street.

My Military bag with my clothes was stolen. Over $800 dollars in clothes and shoes. They re not even a person to report my stolen property to because they are not even in our country. My military bag I took to war five times with me to come to this sorry hotel to have my stuff stolen. I pray this place gets shut down.Safety: There is no safety you can even load your vehicle with being robbed.

While traveling, we spent one night here. The stay was not bad but definitely different than what I have experienced. According to the map, hotels on the east side of town were $115 on up per night, while the rooms on the west side were lower, coming in at $60 to $80. We settled on this place at $98, I should have spent the extra or went full cheap.Entering this lobby, I was greeted by a man o a TV screen. He walked me through the check-in process, I even had to make my own key cards for the door. This was new. By the way, they charge you $50 upfront for incidentals that they allegedly refund if there are mo problems in the room after you leave. This information is not on any website, you just get slapped in the face with it upon checking in.The room seemed clean, no funny smells, and clean sheets, so we were happy with that. This was an older place and could use better quality maintenance, but you get what you pay for. There weren't any privacy dark out curtains, so sleeping in will be a challenge. The maid service did not ensure enough soap was in the bottles, norvwas one in the shower, just the empty one by the sink. Goid thing we had our own. Another weird aspect was the breakfast. It was not in a lobby like most places, it was in a converted room. It even had the door closed, so you had to use your room key to get in. The drinks are in a can, so yes, they taste like metal. You're better off avoiding breakfast, in my opinion.

My truck broke down and was towed to Gallop and I have been staying at this hotel for nearly a week. Clean rooms. Very nice staff. Hot water. Lots of food that can be Door Dashed to you. Overall just a very nice hotel worth the price. NO bedbugs. NO cockroaches. NO riff raff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in town. You get what you pay for, and while there are cheaper places, they are no where near as nice. If you do stay here, note there is rarely Uber drivers available so be mindful to ask for taxi service numbers too if you need to go somewhere. But you can Door Dash almost anything you need.

Internet sucks rooms are okay AC units are outdated. My biggest complaint is the bathroom they have a shower head that's so loud and it will make you go deaf. Almost have to wear earplugs to take a shower. I have really good hearing so it hurts my ears even more. The shower curtain hanger rod is bent down so you can't close the shower curtains all the way. So water gets everywhere outside the shower

A little pricey for the shape it was in. Only one ice machine, located downstairs, no sign for that. There was mold in the drain of the ice machine and the filters for the ice machine were really dusty, there was a plaque on the machine stating that the filters must be changed every 2 months, clearly not done. The bathroom floor tile had rotten wood underneath and the balcony rail was really loose. The front desk was manned when we checked in, but it was virtual to check out, taking someone's job. The indoor pool and hottub were broken when we were there, but still was advertised as an amenity, still the same price though.

Not worth over $100. Maybe $60 and that's pushing it. The "deluxe" room has a tiny jetted tub but that's about it. Bed was comfortable and staff was nice upon check in but lie about the pool being heated. They say it's heated to 84 but there is no way in h*ll it's more than 70 and this is the only reason I chose this hotel. After driving for 10 hours I needed a way to get my kids energy out but even they wouldn't stay in it. The hot tub was warm but the steps are slick tile. My husband slipped down both steps seriously hurting his shoulder. He told the front desk and they only gave him a bag of ice. It's still hurting over a week later so we're hoping there's no permanent damage. Be careful if you use their pool area.

I thought this place was wonderful, especially if you have pets. The ground-level rooms open from both the hallway and outside (patio-glass door). Great shower, nice citrus-y soaps, room smelled clean and nice, check-in was a breeze, all the appliances worked and were clean. It was really nice, because we were so tired. It is also nicely landscaped... doesn't look or feel like just a lot and a box. I think the pet surcharge was 10 bucks a pet, which is reasonable these days. There are some really nice and affordable places to eat close by. Be sure to check out Oasis restaurant right up the road! We would've stayed an additional day if we had the time.

Only because i got the rest i needed will i give more than 2 stars. I chose this place because the price online gave me a good price and the listing stated hested pool, free breakfast. Upon checkout there no free breakfast. No coffee, only choice of small orange juice or apple juice and a fruit cup. No granola bars, no toast, no doughnuts, no bagels, nada. Why offer it if you're not gonna provide it? Our room had holes in the wall. Mirrors and windows to outside were loaded with fingerprints. Floor had crumbs so i dared not to walk barefoot. The bed was comfortable until i started to use my pillow. The pillow case smelled of armpit! The other had blood stains. Horrible experience!. So i slept and left disappointed that all i got was a few needed hours of rest.

Decided to stay here due to bad weather making travel difficult. It was slightly cheaper than the other options around, and the listing claimed to offer continental breakfast. The place was short-staffed. The rooms are very dated. The decor is old, and the place looks like it's not well-maintained. Furnishings were ancient, and interior doors are bent. The windows don't close completely, letting the outside air and sound drift in. The curtains don't actually close all the way, so there's no way to darken the room from their bright signage outside. The beds were thankfully clean, but they smelled weird. Whenever someone used water, you can hear the loud water noises through the pipes.Next morning, we were informed that there was no continental breakfast, and the grab bags that they provided in lieu of it consisted of an 8oz bottle of water, a small can of orange juice, and a granola bar.For someplace that was only 'good' for a place to sleep the night, it's certainly over-advertised itself and overpriced.
