Don't ever take your diesel truck here. They are a big disappointment!! They couldn't even figure out what was wrong with our Dodge Ram, and they told us that they did a 2 hour diagnostic check and that there was #4 cylinder misfiring, we asked if they did a compression test and they didn't do that. Then they took it for a test drive, and yet the technician said he or she couldn't find what was wrong with it. They also charged us for 2 gals of coolant, and yet our coolant was already full due to us replacing the radiator SMH!!! So we paid for the so-called test and picked up our truck! These so-called Wrench Truck & Auto Repair Don't Know what they are doing! On top of all that, we dropped off the truck on a Wednesday, and it sat outside their shop for days until we called them and picked it up a week later!

We were traveling and started experiencing power issues pulling our fifth wheel. They got us in the next day and diagnosed the problem, replaced the parts needed and we were on the road the same day! My camper was damaged on September 07, 2023 and the tow truck delivered my camper to THE WRENCH about midnight. The next morning, I met with Warren and his workers to assess the damage. There were multiple problems with the tongue of the camper along with electrical connections, emergency brake malfunction, and other issues... The front of the camper tongue needed to be replaced along with other issues. Even though they could not replace the connection on the front of the tongue, they took my camper to a repair shop to have that part replaced, and then performed the other repairs as needed. I returned home to ABQ and left my camper there for repairs. The work was performed so that it looks like new and the charge for repairs was VERY reasonable... I cannot thank them enough for their assistance while I was on the road...They are the BEST..Joe MIller

I was driving through town and my a/c decided to quit. The guys at The Wrench didn't hesitate to take me in and went right to work. Parts had to come from Albuquerque, but arrived the next day. The drove me to the hotel and picked me up. Spent 2 nights at a hotel and then was back on the road. Been running the a/c since without any issues. Thanks a bunch! All around a good experience (well, except for the thing breaking to begin with of course)

The first impression is really great. The shop is very large and the work area is immaculat. All the employees look professional. They're really busy and may not be able to get to my Suburban right away, maybe not today. There's nothing I can do about that. I'll update on the work later.

I'm on a road trip and my car broke down on a Sunday. I got towed to the wrench and they got us put back together and on the road quite quickly. My Jeep has never run so smoothly and I feel confident that I'll get to where I'm going safely. Thank you!

I have taken my diese truck for repairs for over 2 years now. I have deep respect for Warren and the rest of the staff there. Although expensive for me, they have always been straight forward and fixed all the issues found with my vehicle.Shout out to THE WRENCH!you have my business

Everyone is professional! I brought my truck in for a HVAC issue. With parts shortages etc. This was just a diagnostic visit to see what it needed and order parts if necessary. Turns out the issue was easily fixed and the folks at The Wrench got my truck back to me and fixed up right away! Always recommend these guys!

The stars deserved for this business for my first experience was about two, the five stars shown above are merely to get more readership. My second experience with The Wrench rates at a -4 stars, that's right, NEGATIVE 4 STARS, and is written below this first experience review. These are my opinions, and my opinions ONLY.So, this is where my car wound up after being passed from Sweetland's Automotive, to Murray Auto Maintenance, to The Wrench (apparently they are all owned by the same family). To say I was frustrated by the time my car came to this place, is an understatement. And as such, might partially explain why my first meeting with the lady at the front counter wasn't very pleasant (I know her name, however there is no need to put her on blast here).I tried to explain to her what had been discussed with Murray's, including their diagnosis and the urgent nature of the repairs needed, as this is my only car. I am aware that most people probably say the same or similar things regarding the urgent nature of their car repairs, however it just seemed like she was having none of it. Everyone else that I encountered during the 9 days my car was there (parts were hard to find/obsolete), was pretty nice though, and seemed knowledgeable about the repairs needed. If I had a complaint, it would be that there were several days where I was told I would get a phone call update on progress, and never got called. For the most part, I had to call them to get any info. In the end however, my car was repaired correctly I believe, and the price was actually reasonable. Again, I will take some of the blame for getting slightly crossways with the lady up front (although I truly thought I was being reasonable), but it just never really got better, and made for some discomfort each time I had to speak with her regarding my car. I have though, read MANY reviews for The Wrench that spoke very highly of her, and that's awesome. I just didn't have that experience...UPDATE: 10-4-22 NEW REPAIR EXPERIENCE AT The Wrench. Dropped my car (same vehicle as above) on 9-19-22 with a coolant leak. Spoke by phone with Warren later in the week, whom told me that it needed a new water pump and lower radiator hose, and quoted me around $550.00. I have since been told by some with experience in this particular field, that that price is excessive. However, I just wanted it fixed and after discussing financing options, I was approved for $700.00, and I approved the repair. I got the call that my car was ready on 9-30-22, but that there was now another problem, as my car after the repair was overheating and needed more repairs. I advised Warren that I could not afford further repairs and that I would just have to deal with whatever it is at some later date. So, I picked up my car, $700.00 dollars later (amazingly the exact amount I had been financed for, which isn't sketchy at all right?), and in less than the one mile it took to get home, my car SEVERELY overheated and puked out almost all of the coolant. I did admittedly use a stop leak product before the repair, which Warren blamed the new problem on, but I have my doubts. So presently, I have a car that had a minor coolant leak before their "repair", which again cost me $700.00, that is now UNDRIVEABLE. It is my opinion, and my opinion ONLY, that this particular business manipulates prices and repairs in an EXTREMELY deceptive and IMMORAL manner, and likely holds grudges about negative reviews...

Steve and Tina did a great job of diagnosing our engine problem, setting up an appointment time, and getting the work done right on time. The whole crew works hard. They were also kind enough to provide a spot for us to park our small trailer while the work was being done. Highly recommended and we would certainly come back if needed.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Very unprofessional front desk no good customer service whatsoever, I took a fleet vehicle in for a breaks to be replaced 3 hrs later I was told they were replacing the front wheel bearing without even being approved was charged absurd amount what should have been an 2-3 hour job took 8 1/2hours. No one communicated the entire time I called in to check on time and progress and was felt as if I was a problem front desk lady was very rude I do not recommend this place to anyone this place really needs to educate their people on professionalism and customer service ..Service: Auto brake repair

Efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. They are well managed and smoothly operated- they saw me same-day and I was back on the road in a few short hours. I really appreciated their hospitality during a stressful time and they explained everything and put my mind at ease. Partnered with AAA too. Highly recommend.

Had my truck to two different repair shops that did not fix the problem. The Wrench had it for a few days and fixed it. Great job!

We have been taking our vehicles to The Wrench for years! Tina and Steve are honest hard working people. All the people that work here are AWESOME . You can trust them, that is so important when it comes to your vehicle.

Doing a review for a friend of mine that was having serious car issues.First off they were very helpful from the first phone call to the end of the process of picking up her car.They took on the project to fix her car right away rather than Nissan that said would be able to take it in Sept 22.They gave her the diagnosis of the car and I talked to them myself to hear and explain what was going on with her car. Gave her a quote and said it would be ready with in a week.She would call to check on it and everytime they were very curtious, friendly, and helpful to answer any of her questions.Over all she was satisfied with the professionalism, friendly customer services, time frame of getting vehicle fixed, and quality of work to get her car going.Car is running great still.Keep up the good work guys!Recommend this shop for any car services!

This place gave me my vehicle back in worse shape then when I gave it to them. They didn't even bother to try and put it back together when I refused there quote they simply towed my vehicle to me in pieces. Then the tow truck driver told me I could get a better rate if I didn't ask for a receipt. Crooks all of them

Great staff, welcomed us like we were family when we had a breakdown on a trailer as we were passing through town. Allowed us to store our trailer their while they ordered parts and got it all fixed up. Would highly recommend them for your repair shop needs!

We needed our car serviced in a hurry and 1 of 2 parts needed to be ordered. Everything was done in a timely fashion and even less than quoted. The part that was ordered did not need to be replaced, so the repair was $300 less! Woohoo!! Highly recommend!! Tina was awsome!

After a terrible experince at Auto Doc in Kirtland, I called and spoke with Warren, even though they were booked, he said, he would work it inthe best he could, the morning it was dropped off t 10 : am, by mid afternoon, I was called ,saying it was ready, they diagnosed my issue and got me dialed, all great service, along with a very reasonable rate, I highly recommend this shop, to bad Auto Doc wouldn't learn a few things about service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve used The Wrench several times through the years...they ve always been quick to respond to my problems and have always been spot on diagnosing the problems and knowing what will be needed for fixes...from major problems down to tire rotations, they responded fast and at a good price for services....
