If you need any work done on a truck (or a bus in my case), this is the only place you need to call. Tim will bend over backwards to help you get going again, and he is very transparent with his pricing. No, it's not cheap. The man has years of experience and every piece of equipment needed to so every job imaginable. Cheap repairs are never cheap to begin with, and Tim's prices are reasonable and explained up front. There will be no surprise charges, and Tim will be honest about his assessment. Fantastic quality of work and even greater quality of character. Can't recommend these folks enough.

Was shut down on the job for an electrical issue on my equipment and even though Tim had alot of work going on he jumped right into helping me, he diagnosed did way beyond what I d expect anyone else to do. Within a short while using excellent techniques he had it diagnosed and repaired. Tim has one of the best personalities I ve met on the road over the years of me doing this work. I thank and recommend his work!!

Tim came to our location in Portales, NM. We had an electrical issue with our truck. It was very cold that morning. And the wind was blowing lightly. I point this out for a reason. Tim was methodical and thorough. He kept a positive attitude throughout. He got us up and running relatively quickly. I admired his work ethic and his demeanor. I would recommend him to anyone.

I broke down right by LAT with a flat tire on my 1996 RAV4. Even though they didn't have a tire small enough, Tim was excellent at helping me replace the bad tire with my spare. Tim was professional and eager to help with my predicament. If I ever need them for a non-emergency, I'll definitely be using their services.

I took my car to LAT Automotive to have my A/C checked. Tim was very professional, got my car in on my appointment time, and explained what he did afterwards. I haven't found this kind of service and professionalism in a really long time. I will continue to take my car to LAT Automotive for all my automotive needs. Fast, and friendly service!!!

My RV boke down on the road while leaving town. Tim was there in about a half hour. It took him almost two minutes to find the trouble. I had it towed to his shop where he did a great job getting me back on the road. Thanks to everyone at LAT.Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

I was shut down at the scalehouse on the border. Called LAT up to see if they could send someone out to splice a roughed up airline. Just cut out the bad part of the hose and splice it together. The lady on the phone told me it would be $900. I can understand that call out work will be a little more pricey. The price she quoted me is more than ridiculous. If they ll gouge that much on road calls, I can only imagine what they ll do if they have your truck in the shop. No way I d do business with this place.Linda told me once about your price. Just once! I laughed and told her I would talk to my company and thanked her for helping me.If you don t do the small jobs, then I assume that you only do the big jobs. As far as calling you, maybe you better ask the State DOT officer to quit giving your name out to trucks that are shut down for oddball reasons. Only in po-dunk New Mexico!

Once I arrived at the location they were very helpful with guiding me in, I had Tim as my mechanic and he was more then happy to assist me with my reefer repair, prices were not too bad and didn t take long to get the job done. Thank you !!Services: Electrical, BatteryServices: Electrical, Battery

Contacted LAT at 6 AM on a Sunday morning after NONE of the large shops in the area answered their "24 hr" emergency number. I had a pinhole in a coolant hose to my transmission and was sitting 34 miles away outside Muleshoe, TX. Spoke with the owner who was very polite, honest and strait forward. He explained after hrs charges before he even came out. He was friendly, great sense of humor, and did quality work. He came prepared to complete to hose replacement, and got the repair done in a timely manner so I was able to get back on the road and still make my delivery. I have saved their number and will call them before the other large shop in Clovis, NM anytine Im on the area and need assistance or service! Old school service is hard to find and goes a long way in the trucking industry!

LAT Automotive was a very pleasant place to have my big truck worked on! They gave me a free estimate and stuck to it. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Friendly staff.

I can't recommend the folks here enough! Imagine going to a diesel truck mechanic and knowing that inevitable invoice is going to hurt. Usually the main cause of that pain is due to the mechanic doing a whole lot of stuff that never needed to be done. Well, not these guys. Not here. They will perform the least invasive diagnostics and thoroughly inspect all potential causes before starting to remove/replace unnecessary parts. This careful consideration ended up saving us countless hours and countless dollars. Thanks again for restoring my hope in mechanics

Tim did us a great job, stopped what he was working on to help us and on a Friday afternoon. He was thorough and got us out of a pinch. I would recommend LAT to anyone, very knowledgeable.

Tim took the time to come out to where my Peterbilt was sitting and worked backwards diagnosing the issue. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a part that was initially believed to be the cause, he was able to determine that it was merely a filter issue. In my opinion, he has the intelligence and tools to effectively repair any issue you bring to him!

I'm an over the road driver. Had a trailer bearing fail , along with a small fire. Contacted the shop asked if they could get me in right away. They stood by their word and got me back up and running asap. The owner was a very honest and pleasant person to deal with. I left happy and didn't feal that I was taken advantage of. Wish there were more shops like this one.would recommend LAT to anyone that needs repairs in clovis nm

Best alignment shop in Clovis! In talking with Tim he gave me good answers to the questions I had and explained what needed to be done. Next time I am passing through I will glad to stop in.
