Not sure where the other folks actually went who wrote the other two reviews but they were not at Chama Land and Cattle. There is no RV Park....seriously? This is a luxury lodge, and simply beautiful. Wonderful service, great people, amazing chef. We have been there 5 years in a row for our wedding anniversary. The fly fishing is awesome! We do not hunt but have seen some amazing elk, bear, deer..just on our way up the mountain to fish. You could go there just to take photographs of the wildflowers and scenery.

Unlike any place we've ever been. From Panama City, Fl., we came to Chama for the first time 2 years ago and spent 3 nights here. It was simply outstanding! Agreed, there is No RV park associated with this lodge so the people that commented earlier must have been confused. The lodging, service, meals, everything was excellent. We did not hunt but relaxed and it was breathtakingly gorgeous! From the moment we entered our guestrooms with our names in calligraphy on the door, to the treatment like family from the staff, it was perfect! Cannot wait to return!!

Not sure if the previous reviewer was at the same place I was, the staff was great, couldn't be better, food was very good, (and I'm a foodie), served on time and in big portions, several with interesting wine/cream sauces, my wife couldn't even eat breakfast before leaving today she was so stuffed from the few days there. I didn't go there to drink, they did have a complementary bottle of brandy in the room. Absolutely stunning lodge building, it reminded me of a national park lodge. And I got my cow elk the first morning. We will be back!

RV park was ok, the sights are not paved and grassy shady areas are minimal. No pool, and we never got the free WIFI to work.
