So these guys sold me some good tires on my Ram 3500 dually. They track well, relatively quite, and very road worthy. The were professional at installing them and timely too even though they were hammered with customers. I'd get tires from them again, no problem!

Worst place ever ! Made an appointment Wednesday on line. I called Thursday to verify my 9 am Friday appointment everything was good until I got there. They couldnt find my appointment! Left my truck at 9 for an alignment,oil change and rotate they told me it would be 2 hrs. When I walked out the door he told his buddy we will get to it when we get to it. I arrived at 2 to pick it up and the rotation had not been done because Anthony said they couldn t find the wheel key. It was in the cup holder sticking strait up! There was greasy hand prints on both fenders and hood also the inside door panels and a ding in the fender by the greasy hand print. I do have pictures!

I ordered my tires ahead of time and they arrived when quoted. I let them know when I could have them put on which was no problem. During installation I asked them to check my upper and lower ball joints. Everything was good. I mentioned to the salesman there was something loose in my suspension. He went online and found the problem though a chat room. Now I can get it fixed. Going the extra mile is priceless. Thanks Big O

I've been there a couple times for oil change and tire rotation. They took my car in and was ready in a little over an hour. Customer service has been great so far. Keep it up guys!

Big O is the place to go for new tires and other services they provide in Carlsbad NM. I bought my last set of tires there and was happy with the price and tires. On my last visit I asked them to check out what I thought was a wheel bearing noise. They checked my bearings, brakes and tires. They found a bunch of gravel in the tread of one tire. Removed it and I drove my vehicle, the noise was gone. They did not charge me anything. I give the employees and Big O a, A+ for being honest. That's what a superior business is all about, honesty.

Dropped tire off at 4:30 with the understanding tire would be repaired or replaced before closing no problem. Had big work plans with about $400 an hour in workers waiting on me. Tire did not get replaced putting me over an hour behind schedule next morning waiting on tire. Have had numerous issues and this just puts it over the edge for me.

Bought a set of tires and waited almost 3 hours because they had a "technician" overtorque my lug nuts and broke 2 studs when they realized what they had done. Homie could have stopped at one but thought it was cool enough to continue.Wait times and attitudes are always horrible.

We are traveling to New Mexico for the first time, and wouldn t do you know it, tire trouble. We had a slow leak in our RV tire on the rear. We pulled into the local Big o s tires in Carlsbad and asked if they could look at it. Two of the guys dropped what they were doing and came over and assessed the situation. Long story short, the repair was done within an hour and, to our amazement, there was no charge. That s what I call great business practices, and making sure that your customer is a Happy customer. And I sure am!!!! Thanks guys!!!

Great service! I had a screw in my tire this morning. And I was in and out in under thirty minutes and didn't have to wait! Best part is they fixed it for free!

Absolutely ridiculous wait time. When I got there it didn t look busy at all maybe 3 cars in garage. I was not told anything about any wait time. Said we will get it taken care of . Sat there for 2 hours for a simple flat. Watch many people come in after me and leave before me. If I had been told there was a wait time I would have went somewhere else. Employees talking on phones joking amongst each other. Will not go back.

Doesn't deserve one star at all.. After having my car all day to put on TWO new tires, even with an appointment set, they cracked my rim, filled it with bead lock and didn't tell me when I went in to pick up my car. After I picked up my car a concerned employee called and told me about them cracking my rim and to get ahold of corporate. After the initial complaint with corporate, they gave me the run around and I had to keep calling multiple times a day to get a response. Finally corporate told me they would pay for one wheel if I had bought a whole new set of four.

Was there early and needed a flat fixed and after we checked in and they took my truck they got busy and put my truck on the back burner and it took 3 1/2 hours to get it fixed. I understand wanting to take care of customers vs a free service but first in first out creates loyal customers.

My fiance & I went in yesterday 5.28.21 to get two new front tires. The gentlemen in the front gave him a couple options & they got them on the truck within an hour or 2, mind you they were short staffed by 7 people. There was only 1 person ahead of us. Very humble business. Great job guys!!! Highly recommend doing business here. Update: I went in today 10.22.22 @ 1pm I needed 2 new tires, a rotation & for the to patch a tire that had a hole. I was there until close to 4pm when they close and they were just getting to my vehicle I spoke with a guy who was waiting since mid day and they hadn't put his tires on yet and he was a company guy waiting for his truck. He had asked for them to not put tires THEY decided to put on for him. They told him he would have to put in another ticket and wait for it to be approved if he wanted the tires to be removed. Another customer was told last min they wouldn't be putting his tires on, I wasn't sure why but in the end they ended up giving him his tires he was not happy. There was alot of staff on hand but the speed of service wasnt there, they were acting as though we had the whole day to wait on them. Sad to say we won't be coming back to this business the time management wasn't important to them.

Helped us out without hesitation filling up our tires. Speaks volumes about the culture of the shop. If I m ever back in Carlsbad NM and I need a tire, Big O s is the place that I will go.

I really wanted to like this Big O Tires store. It's conveniently located and they have reasonable prices. Unfortunately, I've had 2 negative experiences here mostly due to poor customer service.The employees I've dealt with have zero interest in actually helping the average customer. I'm sure this business like so many others in Carlsbad gets plenty of revenue from oilfield companies so there's no incentive for them to help local residents or visitors to our community.My latest experience involved trying to purchase a full set of all terrain tires for my Jeep using the Big O website. I did my research and found exactly what I was looking for at a price I was willing to pay. I scheduled an appointment for one of my rare days off. I also selected some additional services to all be done at the same time.The next day I received a call from an employee telling me the tires I selected online are not available and they had no idea when they would be. I asked about another brand of tires and I was told they're also not available in the "local warehouse" so they were going to charge me $15 freight PER TIRE. There was no valid explanation for why that charge would be passed on to me, the customer, especially when I can order the same tires from Tire Rack for less and get free shipping.I'm glad that others have had a positive experience with this Big O Tires store, but I have found them to have poor customer service and no motivation to even try to earn my business. For now, I'll take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.

Quick great customer service at least in the back big dude in the front just thought he was too good or something but even with that it was still 1000 times better than forrest tire

The worst experience I ve ever had was to buy 4 tires with Big O the girl that worked upfront was very unprofessional never again will I buy anything or get my car serviced at Big O they put my tires on messed up my front air suspension on my Jeep Cherokee I went back the next day to talk to the manager the girl upfront wouldn t give me his name! Or the guys who worked on my car! My front air suspension isn t the same since that day they put my tires on! I will not recommend any one to use them! They broke the wires of the air suspension and didn t bother to fix it! That was very unprofessional that s going to cost a lot just to get it fixed because of their stupidity!

I took my Chevy Camaro to get new tires but all they did was mess up my wheels,you can clearly see its not curbed since its from the middle of the wheel

This would be a hell of a place to open up a tire shop. Not really sure what they can do here, all the guys that work here are only qualified to work on bicycle tire is what it seems like, would not recommend, would not go here if my life depended on it, they probably wouldn t be able to help you anyways

Friendly helpful service staff, they do fast and affordable work. But don't think for a minute it's cheap, quality patch Job on my wife's 2012 Kia soul. Had me in and out in just over an hour. I'm going to be back to buy my next set of tires.God bless these people.

Do not trust them with any of your cars my dad took his truck last month to get a tire fixed and instead they totaled loss my dad s truck . They cut the chassis because one of them idiots let the key fall inside of it and instead of saying something, they decided it was best to cut that bar not letting my stepmom know . She went outside cause they took 6 hrs fixing the tire and when she went outside she saw fire and 5 men were trying to make her go back inside the shop. So do not even go to this place! They won t be responsible they blame each other and never let you talk to the manager !

Had an amazing experience at Big O tires in Carlsbad. We were on a visit to the area from Seattle and as luck would have it, two tires of our rental car got a flat. This was a Sunday night. I filled enough air for it to get us back to the hotel Sunday night. By next morning both were very low again - dropped from 40 to 10psi. When I looked up, Big O tires was right next door from where we stayed. So took the car to them at around 6:45am. They were super helpful - first in filling the air to keep me going till their office opens up at 7:30am, and when I brought it back at 7:30am, took care of both the flats in a very short time, even though this was a drop in. Very hardworking and honest folks. Highly recommend!

Took over 2 hours to rotate my tires. Never called to let me know it was done. Called and called no answer. Go down there and windows left down. Asked the manager why? And all he would say is that s just what we do. All the other vehicles windows were up. Got in my truck all the radio stations were changed and had to take apart my automatic side mirrors apart to fix them. Will never go back or recommend using this place again.
