We spent a month here in the fall of 2023 and it was nice. The owners are friendly with great helpers to get you what you need. We needed a place to stay under the track of the solar eclipse and enjoyed the balloon festival while we were there. I've read a few negative reviews about the signs, disregard. Yes, it's obvious where the owners stand on certain topics, but it does nothing to take away from their accommodating nature or the security and the peace of the campgrounds. It's hardly fair to judge a place for something you're likely to find in most parks in every other truck or rv. It's just made obvious here. Honestly, we knew it was a safe place to be as soon as we pulled in. Anything we needed for our horses was accommodated within the park s ability. Be sure to ride the canyons while you're there.

Stayed here in our motor home on our way to New Mexico and again on our way home. The people who work/own here are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are so service-oriented and accommodating when you stay here. The sites are spacious enough, utilities worked fine, little store was nice and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.

OK for an overnight. A lot of well kept, full timers. Was placed very close to interstate, noise level can't be helped, so if a light sleeper it may be an issue. I slept great.Entrance is a little tricky, but go slow, and you will find it.I called only an hour plus, ahead of arrival. I was very welcomed on the phone and when I arrived. I did not use any of the facilities.

We stayed here for over a week in early October, 2023. We enjoyed our stay here. The sites were long enough for our 48' fifth wheel, and the utilities all worked well. Friendly staff, easy check in process. The only downside is there isn't a lot to do here or in the local area. For this reason, I would recommend that they focus on adding amenities to attract RVers (and locals for that matter), such as a playground, pool, or even a small casual diner since they already have staff there. TMobile and Verizon didn't work very well, though AT&T did, likely that's the provider on the cell tower literally across the street from the RV park. For this reason, better (free) WiFi would also be a good amenity to add.

My RV had an axs issue, and east of Rosewell and had to be towed back to Lubbock. Three days before our check-in date at the Kiva RV. Call the RV Park to let them know we would not be able to move it their and we're canceling. The man that answered the phone acted nice and wished luck one our return home. We weren't giving any kind of refund on the $520. The Park people are money greedy people.

I am just passing through and didn't want to "boondock". I called ahead of time and the lady who answered was so nice. When I got here, she greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed to be guided. Handed me all of my paperwork (WI-FI password, map and receipt). I got space 30. Easy hook-up. Clean. Only a few trees back here but the ground is level. Most spaces are taken up by longer term campers. The office has a lounge, ice cream and souvenirs. Tent camping spaces, too. There's a horse stable here, also. Laundry room has bigger machines for blankets. $2.50 per wash. Very clean. WI-FI is great. I have a smart TV and watched Netflix. The highway is close by so you'll get the noise but it's not bad. I paid $45.00 with my Good Sam discount.Overall, I give it an 8/10. Just because the only spots "overnighters" get are the back row near the highway and because it's in the path of a field of dirt. When I came in, there was a dust storm and the park was right in it's path. It's a nice place to stay a few nights.

We ve been coming here for years as an over night on our extended trips. Wonderful owners who make reservations easy as well as check in. Park is clean and well maintained. The horse accommodations look fabulouss and if I had a horse I would definitely come here. Our only complaint is the highway noise which is location related, not anything to do with management.

This place is a hidden gem. Everyone is so nice. They treat you like family and truly want you to enjoy your stay. I expected more noise being so close to the highway,, but it is hardly noticeable. There is room for our 41 ft 5th wheel. The bathrooms are clean and the laundry room has plenty of machines. This place is a little slice of heaven when it come to a place to relax.

Great quiet location to stop away from the big cities. Large spaces, friendly staff. Only 10 minutes from Belen, 30 minutes from Las Lunas, 55 minutes from Albuquerque.Nearby activities: Take the Rail Runner in Belen to Albuquerque or Santa fe for lunch or shopping.Noteworthy details: We have a class A with a car trailer. Back row spaces are huge!

Was on a trip back to AZ, late at night in bad snowy weather and needed a place to stop with a 40 ft RV with a tow vehicle. Called Kiva for a spot for the night, and they said, "don't worry, we'll make room for you." Can't tell you how much we appreciated their effort to fit us in. Definitely recommend this nice convenient, clean RV park.

What an amazing place to stay at! Beautiful location, clean facilities, and hands down the best customer service I ve ever gotten. When you visit here you immediately get to know many other people here. Most of the other customers stay for awhile and it s easy to see why. The staff treat you like a good friend and you feel like part of a great community. I wish I could give a higher rating.

Needed a place to stay for the night while on our way home and we stumbled across this place on I-25. Saw the signs on the highway. We wanted a nice, clean place to stay and glad we found this place. We got the last RV space available and it was in a weird spot, but it was actually really nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. There are lots of permanent people here we were told, but you couldn't tell. People keep the place nice. Recommend if you are on I-25 in NM, about an hour out of Albuquerque.

We needed a last minute place to stay. It was very windy. They were very helpful and accommodating. We had some trouble with the electicity, which the owner and other staff spent quite a bit of time trying to help us with. It turned out it was a fuse in our rv. Oops. They were very kind and gracious about it.

Beautiful, well-kept RV Park and Horse Hotel. Easy access off the interstate. They can accommodate long living quarters horse trailers. They have a variety of stalls and pens with nice pipe fencing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also have a nice playground for the kids. I highly recommend this facility if you are traveling with horses.

Spent the last of summer and winter of 2020-21. Had a great time. They do great events for the kids. Halloween was a blast. It is the desert but the park is located in a great spot no matter which way you are going. The water is very hard. Knowing that just clean your tanks out well when you leave but I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.

The RV/ Horse park is nice clean and cute not too big not too small just perfect like the owner and the staff. They are friendly and professional. We went to visit with friends stay there for the 4th of July and the fireworks display was a blast. Can't wait till next year.

We took a trip from Arkansas to Tombstone , then on to Kiva for another week. I had three couples, made reservations 6 months prior. The price for pens with runs was and still is listed as $20 per horse. We arrived and were charged &30 per horse per night, so $100 per night. I went to office to inquire and was told the prices had gone up. We were very disappointed in this park and the staff knew absolutely nothing. No information on where to ride out, no one knew where to go, it was an absolute waste of our time and the first and last trip we will make to New Mexico. We all headed out early after 2 days. Would not recommend this park for any reason.

This park is awesome and the owner and his wife work hard to make your stay not only pleasant but safe. It's close enough to Socorro and Belen that getting supplies are no problem. He has great staff working there that are very helpful. We will definitely stay there in the future.

We ve been here for a month and absolutely love this rv park. Easy in and out large rv spaces that are mostly shaded by trees. The night skies are beautiful and the people (owners and camp hosts) have been phenomenal and extremely polite. It s a comfortable no frills park with amenities being (a peaceful drive) approximately 20/30 minutes away in Belen and neighboring Los Lunas. Will definitely recommend this park.

We were looking for a place to stop at the last minute. This park is convenient and clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. Gave helpful information as we got closer to their property.

We overnighted here as we were passing through. Easy in and out off of I-25, good for big rigs (we are 72' long total HDT and 5th wheel). It was very windy while we were there, we kept 2 slides closed on the windy side. Bob the park manager was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again when passing through!

This was just a one night stay. It was good for that. The park needs a little updating. There appears to be a lot of long term renters there. The people in the office were very nice. The bathrooms were a little dated but clean. I was hoping to see some horses but they didn t have any there that night.

This was the most fun camping experience we have had. The stalls were large and clean for our horses. They also offer a round pen to warm up the horses. We loved riding across the street and into miles of open space. The camp site was fantastic as well. The owners made us feel at home. We were there over Thanksgiving and they had a big pot luck Thanksgiving dinner which we were invited to attend. Everybody is kind. I highly recommend it.
