After several years of experience with ARC Automotive shop, I can express from actual experience that the Mechanics are up to date professionals, they re courteous, and I feel comfortable, trusting their advice and their work.

The customer service was very good, the guys here kept me up to date with my vehicle and would constantly give me updates. As well as their pricing is very fair, and I would argue this was the best pricing for the work i got done. I trust the guys here to do work again on my vehicle in the future

These guys are not only all around genuinely good people but they do amazing work.I had taken my car to a different mechanic who placed a new alternator. Less than 24 hours later I was stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery. Again. I managed to get to ARC auto, explained the issue and they immediately jumped up to help. Diagnosed the issue very quickly (alternator was faulty) and went to work getting me a new one under the warranty. Michael spent lots of time on the phone, but got it done!I had to stay overnight as the part was not available in the local store. They got it in first thing in the morning and I was back on the road by 1030 am. Fair prices. Honest mechanics.Bronson was an amazing technician who fixed my van right up.I recommend everyone drive to this shop and have them do your auto work. They are well worth the drive!*Update 2024*Our hood release cable quit working! We had 3 other places try with no resolution of the issue. We had been out of state for work. Drove all the way home just to come here and see what they could do.Within 20 minutes they had it opened, repaired, and even changed the oil! (The initial reason for discovering the hood release wasn't working)Again, fabulous work as always. Highly recommend ARC for pretry much anything car related. Two weeks ago a major brake job was done on my 2003 Nissan Frontier. After the job it pulled to the right when braking, I took it back to ARC. Mike there told me the mechanic doing the job failed install the new pads they provided him and the old ones scored the newly installed rotors. They completely re-did the job new pads and rotors, apologized, didn t charge a penny. These guys are dead honest. I have recommended them in the past and I do now. Great, honest work. I ve been going to ARC for about 3 years and they have consistently come through for me with various vehicles! Even when it s taken time (and usually the turnaround is quite fast) at the end of the day I never felt like they were overselling me, and always felt like I can trust their work and they re trying to do good work for me. This is the BEST auto mechanic shop in the State of New Mexico! I appreciate their willingness to get to the root of the problem and very affordable. As a woman I appreciate the honesty they gave me and showed me exactly what the issue was. % a returning customer for oil changes.

On a Friday afternoon I was driving through New Mexico from Ohio when my engine light came on. Robert, at the shop, was so kind to put the machine on the vehicle to troubleshoot. He also checked my tire pressure for me. This shop was very nice to help me out and point me in the right direction for my vehicle. Very kind people!! Helpful even though they are very busy!

I recently had my brake rotors replaced by these guys. Immediately afterwards,the break pedal felt soft and spongy. I brought the car back in and informed them of the issue. I asked them to simply bleed the break lines as I was fairly sure some air must ve gotten into the lines during the rotor replacement. The mechanic obliged and I left the car with them. When I came back to pick it up, they informed me that they were refusing to bleed the break lines as no air could ve possibly gotten in during the rotor replacement. So instead, they quoted me over $1000 to have my break master cylinder and booster replaced. I refused this service, took my car elsewhere where they happily bled the breaks and what do you know, it fixed the problem. Take your car elsewhere, these guys are a joke.

Very excellent repair services by these guys. They performed an electrical diagnostic on my truck and found the problem the next day and it was repaired that day! I told em I was in no rush when I left my truck there but everything was completed within a very timely manner . I highly recommend and I will definitely continue to do business with them. Took my car in May 2023 because my brand new battery was draining. They kept it for a couple of weeks and didn t hear anything from them. I then called and was told nothing was wrong with it and they charged me $240 for NOT fixing my car. Sure enough, the battery was still draining. Took it back 6/3/23 and they still have my car on 9/20/23. No updates, texts, or calls. When I call or text, there is always an excuse. What a disappointment.

We found ourselves in need of auto repair while in town for a dog show on a Wednesday & planning on leaving Sunday. Everyone I called either couldn t get me in until next week or didn t bother to return my call. ARC saw me the same day got the car diagnosed the next & repaired by this morning (Friday). Labor rate were reasonable no problem getting parts. They were busy but made time to take off my problem & keep us on schedule. Thanks ARC

I have a 2011 Dodge Nitro and they have kept the engine running in very good condition for me for several years. Even through I do not live anywhere close to them, I won't go anywhere else. I trust them and they do nice work. Thanks, Guys

The people at ARC are honest with fair prices. They persist until they get an accurate diagnosis and correct the real problems, and they use the best parts.

My driver's side front wheel fell off immediately after picking up my 67 Firebird, and $3000 in repair work. They forgot to put the wheel lugs back on and so wheel came off and damaged drum, axel wheel fender and other parts. I called them up and explained what happened, and they came immediately, picked it up and promised to fix it right away, owner promised me no charge and will fix another vehicle i also took in to repair. Six weeks later, I finally picked it up. And they charged me $900 more for my Firebird and $1000 for other vehicle. So they did not keep their word plus work on vehicle was incomplete. Firebird still stalls when driving, and other vehicle could not pass emissions test, which is what I asked them to repair. They took almost 4 months and approximately $4,000 in total to do repairs and I still had problems with both vehicles. I would not recommend them for anything. Nice guys but not sure if they really know what they are doing.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair

These guys are the best. Everything we have had done on our vehicle has been high quality work. They are honest, fair, and reasonable. We got work done on our Xterra, and we were highly impressed with the services rendered. We have had no issues, and will be returning to ARC automotive for all our future automotive needs!!

ARC Automotive is the ONLY shop I trust to repair and maintain my vehicles. I am always treated with the upmost respect and the technicians explain any and all options for my repair or maintenance. One of my vehicles has over 260K miles and still runs like a champ! They treat all my vehicles like I do, with care and consideration.I also know from conversations with the technicians that they are dedicated to continuing education regarding new technology and repair on newer vehicles. This shop is genuine and hardworking, I trust them to keep my vehicles in top shape and my family safe.

G and Noe are very reliable mechanics. They are straight up and tell you as it is. There is no BS when coming with them- I had a full engine replacement with my 03 Nissan Altima and they did a phenomenal job. The job took awhile because I did not have the money to pay for it at first. They were very patient and understanding of my situation. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic. I even have the invoice number to prove it ;).

I have had so many bad experiences with mechanics over the years, but I love the work that Noe does on our car and how honest they are. I have an older vehicle and a pretty tight budget and they re always upfront in whether or not a repair is urgent, can wait, or might not even be worth it. They always took great care of the regular maintenance too!

Great staff! Fair pricing!! Highly recommend for ANY and ALL of your cars mechanical needs! I couldn t be happier with the work that was done on my Eclipse!!! These guys are simply the best and I will not be taking my vehicles anywhere else!!

I had several OBD codes that were showing up on my 2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO truck and also a noise when I would downshift on the automatic transmission. ARC Automotive had already helped me before on my daughters A/C problem, which they took care of right away a couple years back. I live in southern NM, so to get to this shop would require me to travel 260 miles one way. I was very pleased the first time with ARC Automotive's service that I felt very comfortable that the issues I had with my Nissan Frontier truck would be resolved and corrected. I asked Mr Abe Gurule to please address any other issues that might need repairs. A thorough review was done on the truck and any issues that required attention sooner than later were brought to my attention. The Service Writer for the mechanic shop, Mr Theron, did contact me and let me know about what may be needed to make sure I had no trouble later on with the truck. Those that needed their immediate attention and required attention were explained to me and I gave approval to be fixed. When the rear brakes were being worked on, it was discovered that the passenger side axle seal was severely leaking and when the hub was pulled out, they discovered the race had come off the bearing. I was contacted right away and told about this mechanical issue, which was critical to me because if the axle were to get loose and come off on the highway, the end result could be a major setback not only to the vehicle but also possibly having a family member or myself getting injured.All the office staff, Abe, Theron and Christina, and workers, Noe and others, are very nice, courteous and I will make a trip for any major work that any of my vehicles might need, because of their honesty and professional way of dealing with the customers. I would recommend them to my friends without any hesitation. Of those people who live around the Albuquerque/Bernalillo/ Rio Rancho area, they have a shop that will take excellent care of whatever mechanical work they may need. I had a tune-up, brake job and OBD codes taken care of and I am very satisfied with the work. Quick service, they were able to find the parts in a pinch. We are on vacation and the work was completed swiftly. On top of that, they gave us a ride to the local restaurant while we waited on the repairs. The manager is a rockstar!
