I can t say enough about everyone at Craig tire! J.R. there really spent the time with me to find EXCTLY what I was looking for in tires for my truck! Their warehouse missed sending them out but they called me first thing and were more than apologetic and asked what they could do to make it right but that was all I needed. When they put the wheels on, MY bumper was bent which made one side rub but their guys would not let me leave without being out there trying to help me solve my issue giving me a hand to fix it even when it was their closing time. The ladies at the counter were always a pleasure to chit chat with. Can t say enough about the service I received from everyone there! Their service is second to none!

I had a slash in the wall of my tire and need a tire shop to fix it. Being new to the area we need a shop that would treat us right. JR stayed on the phone with me as I drove home to get the tire size. He had the tire is stock and was able to replace it quickly. We even talked about my new truck afterwards. JR and his staff really care more about their customers more than making a buck

JR and Erik were awesome thank you very much for the help. I was passing through on a work trip headed back home to Oklahoma from Phoenix and my alternator went out 7 miles from town. They brought me a battery and got me going tell I could find a mechanic to get it replaced. Thanks again guys!

Picked up a nail on the freeway while traveling for my son s school trip. Put on the spare near Socorro and drove to Craig Tire in hopes it could get fixed. Mr. Craig was extremely helpful and friendly. Got my car in as soon as he could and had it road ready in record time. 20 minutes max and I was headed down the road in time to pick my son up as the buses were dropping him off. A+ business. A+ customer service. A+ honesty and friendliness. I truly wish there were more businesses like this and wish we had a Craig Tire where I live.

I spoke to John regarding a minor issue I had after having a tire replaced and was pleasantly surprised when he immediately went above and beyond to make it right! I really appreciated that.I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were on the road with seven horses when we blew a tire (it was a bolt) on our way to CA. Coffey Trailers sent us down. Craig Independent Tires immediately removed and replaced the ruined tire, put the new tire on the trailer and put the spare back in place. We were out of there inside 40 minutes. Absolute 5 star rating.

I have been going to Craig Tires since I moved out to Valencia County in 1996. And their service has always been over the top, excellent. This past Thursday evening, I accidently ran over a pile of 2x4 lumber that someone had dropped in the road. I discovered later in the evening that my right front tire had a slow leak in it. The next morning, my tire was completely flat. When my wife called Craig Tires, they dispatched a technician to my home, to air up my tire, so I could drive it to their shop for repair. I found out my right front tire was severely damaged. Craig quickly repaired it, and got me back on the road again. I greatly appreciate their help.

Owner very rude. The technician by the name of Erik left a hook hanger in my wheel well wrapped around my suspension and brake line. My tire sensor light is on from the very same side they worked on as well as my check engine light now that has never been on before. This is the second vehicle they worked on the first time after $1,400 they forgot to balance my tires and I had to take my vehicle back. They put my life in my family life in danger by this wire left in my wheel well and the owner was very rude and non-caring about it

We had a flat on I-25 far from home after 5:00 on a Sunday ending. JR and the entire crew were incredibly generous with their help. They got us back on the road and we made it home safely.What a wonderful independent business, keep doing what you re doing! Thank you so much.

I am so thankful for Craig Independent Tire Co! A couple of weeks ago, while hauling horses from Tucson, AZ to Parker, CO I had a flat tire near Belen, NM. Not only was their roadside assistant timely, but he was helpful and knew I was in a stressful situation. My spare was not quite up to par for the remainder of the trip, so I followed him to the shop. The extremely friendly staff there immediately got to getting the new tires on my trailer. They let me water my horses and even bring my dog into the office to cool down. I was off and running in no time and I can't tell you how appreciative I was since I was hauling such precious cargo. THANK YOU!

I bought 2 brand new tires for my trailer i. Sept 16th from Craig tire. The 26th they both blew out. Tne guy at Craig told me they cant do anything to help me& unless i had the old tires i was on my own.i told him i am a mover, was loaded to the back door and didn't have room for them. He said there was nothing that they could do! I live in belen and always give them business & couldn't believe how they were treating me. So i guess im out over 800 bucks and im "ON MY OWN" nice having a home town shop taking such good care of there customers

Craig Tire is the Best! We used to buy our tires from them but moved away for 20 years. Now we're back. We ordered our new tires in the late afternoon and they were available the next morning. We just had them installed and the process took about 15 minutes. During that time we were greeted warmly by several employees and offered a bottle of cold water. At Craig you get great service and a great price on tires. So glad to come back to you after all these years and still find such a great service.

Let me tell you something about this place from the minute you walk in your greeted by the most amazing counter crew ever...The techs are quick efficient but on point...and if your lucky enough to meet JR (the owner) you'll understand why this place should be your all in one shop.The mechanics,counter, techs, all work in a very friendly, knowledgeable,but very professional manner. Im impressed every time im here....JR runs an absolutely amazing business here...your wasting your time looking for a better tire shop...

I have always trusted Craig Tire (in Belen). The workers are friendly and honest. The place is always clean (for a mechanic shop). And it's never a long wait to get your vehicle worked on.

Highly recommend Craig s for your auto needs! We had a couple issues with our tire, and were stuck on a Sunday of course Craig Tire Co was open and ready to service us - no problem! (And with a great attitude . Which makes any experience better). They took our call, heard our problems, helped us try and source a new tire right away - since ours were out of stock . And in the end they were able to repair it. Hope you stop by and get the chance to service your vehicles here! Thanks Craig + crew. So grateful for you guys.

At the suggestion of a co-worker I went here to have them look at my tires so I could decide if I needed new one. I already knew one was really bad. The technician came out and looked at all of them. He suggested I get all 4 replaced since they are from 2017 making them 6 years old. We went inside and he found a set in stock. I setup an appointment to come in the next morning to have the work done. I expected it to take a couple hours but in the end I was in and out in 90 minutes. All the technicians and staff were very friendly. Overall I was very satisfied with the experience. I highly recommend anyone to this local shop.

Craig Independent Tire was wonderful and really helped me out when I needed it most! My husband and I were traveling back from El Paso, TX and my husband was driving the other truck and was pulling a 5th wheel camper. It was over 100 degrees and 2 of the tires on the camper exploded due to the heat. I drove to Belen and Craig Independent Tire had 2 tires thank heavens and they put them on the rims super fast for me, even though the place was full of others also getting tires, etc. I was able to take the 2 new tires back to my husband who was stuck on the side of the road waiting. He was able to change the tires and we were able to make it back to Albuquerque safely. We want to thank Craig Independent Tire so much for helping us so quickly that day and I recommend them wholeheartedly if you need tires for any reason. They offer wonderful customer service which was so appreciated that day when we needed it the most. Thank you Craig Independent Tire!

Needed to replace several trailer tires that are non standard. Not only did they have them in stock, they had them at a great price. To top it off they installed them on the spot. Couldn't recommend them more.

Craig s Independent Tire Co was phenomenal!! We had a missing calliper bolt and the team went above and beyond to get our car repaired. Eric was fantastic in assisting us!! Also, they have a cow and let me feed her. Which was fantastic. Would 100% recommend this company for all your auto needs!!! Thank you!!

I thought my tire had what was a small leak. So I pulled into Graig tire to have it fixed. Only took maybe 3 minutes before they were working on it. When removing the tire to fix the leak, they knew right away the tire was bad and falling apart on the inside and was dangerous to drive on. They took the bad tire off and put my spare tire on for free. They had to order the needed tire for my vehicle and the very next day it came in as promised. This company is truly one of a kind when it comes to service and knowledge. I'd recommend Graig tire to anyone anywhere. Plus the gazebo there is so nice and the tires and wrenches carved throughout it is an awesome piece of art. the bathroom was cleaned and smelled good. Thank you so very very much for that honestly.

Update 7 July: John Craig reached out to me on 29 June and we had a very cordial and productive discussion. He was very professional and apologetic on behalf of his employees and it was very obvious how passionate he is for his business and its reputation. I apparently experienced an unfortunate set of circumstances based on a lack of employee training and qualifications and supervisor work assignments. John was successful in regaining my trust and confidence and retaining me as a future customer. Because of this, I have changed from a 2 star rating to a 4 star rating.I purchased 2 new tires for my truck and had them installed on 24 June. The technician driving my truck up to the shop stall was having a lot of difficulty, so I assumed he did not have much experience driving a standard transmission. When the work was completed, the same technician tried backing my truck away from the stall, again having a lot of difficulty trying to drive it. When he then tried driving forward, I realized the emergency brake was on and he force-drove it across the parking lot (it's a Cummins, so it has plenty of power to overcome the brakes). He was trying to get it parked and I told him just to leave it where it was and get out. By this time the clutch was smoking hot. So was I. I went in and complained, paid, and asked to be sure my old tires were in the back of the truck and they affirmed they were. After driving away and stopping at my next stop, I looked in the back of the truck and there were 2 mismatched, completely worn-out tires--not the tires from my truck. Back to the shop I go to get MY tires. I guess the technician decided any old tires would do. Or there might be a theory of giving the customer old worn out tires they can't resell and keep the better tires to try to sell as used ones. Quality of work: good. Quality of experience: Horrible. Lost my business.

Excellent help in an unfortunate situation. Was able to get me back on the road in 30 mins with a new tire, and my spare tucked back up under the car and a toy for my kids.They were the only tire shop open on a Sunday!
