After having many different mechanics through the years, it s such a great feeling to find an honest one who knows what he s doing!!! Ken is very professional and takes the time to respond to any questions and explains exactly what he s doing. I know for a fact he ll do everything in his power to get your car up and running. Ken and Kami are genuinely great people with fair prices. I feel confident in taking all my vehicles to them for any maintenance. I recently took my teenage sons older vehicle that wasn t running to Ken to get started and make it safe, as he goes off to college. It was reassuring to have had Ken work on the car and get it running very smoothly. Thank you both for always helping us out!!! Best mechanic in ABQ. I have a VW TDI and the dealership wanted to charge around 4 thousand dollars. Ken did all the repairs for $700.I've been going to Xpect More Auto ever since.

Ken is one of the most, Maybe The Most, honest and friendly car mechanic I have crossed paths with. He was able to check the car out immediately, fixed it in an hour, and charged $35. Almost Unbelievable, but it's true!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

You can really expect more coming here as Ken is an honest mechanic that you can trust. He offers fair prices and will accurately diagnose and thoroughly explain the work he is doing. Very happy with my Winch install. Ken was able to clearly lead me down the correct path and saved me over $1000 from what other dealers in town were trying to do. The front hitch looks great and I'm super happy! I would recommend hands down.

Kami and Ken are some great individuals and with that being said, it shows with the quality of work, services, and assistance they offer. As with any company, there are situations that are out of their control but they will do everything possible to ensure everyone is taken care of before walking out that door, whether it be on the mechanic or interlock side of things. I definitely recommend their services. Thank you both for the satisfying year!

Great job. Ken seems very honest, nice, and above all, fair. He only charges for what actually needs to be done instead of those "recommended" repairs that most auto shops like to charge for. Another great part is that he allows you to buy and bring in your own parts if you choose to but also has parts himself. I was able to bring in my car without an appointment and he fixed it the same day as well.The best part is the free diagnostic with service by him. Goes out of his way to help you and he charged me $320 for a diagnostic, 6 spark plugs, plus an ignition coil (coils are expensive, $100 for about any car), whereas firestone wanted $480 for the same exact listed services. Most places like firestone charge purely around $100 for a diagnosis before proceeding to do any work. I also checked a couple other shops and they also wanted to charge more than Ken at Xpectmore Automotive.Will be both going back for any repair trouble I can't do myself as well as recommend others to his shop.

Ken & Kami are really AWESOME!! I just finished a 6 month sentence & got it taken off & every month has been really easy. They have helped me with everything i have ever needed. Cheapest in the city, most helpful AND THE BEST DEVICE!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Kami and Ken are the best! They are very kind, reliable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help. I had an ignition interlock for one year and they helped me through the whole process. When I first got the interlock, Kami took the time to show me everything about the device and made sure I felt comfortable by the time I left. Thank you so much Kami and Ken!

Ken has worked on my F150 my Sebring and my wife's explorer and has always been upfront about what was needed and the price involved. I have never had him inflate the prices and has even offered to open up his shop at off hours to help me out. I attempted to change the plugs on my f150 myself which resulted in breaking a plug. He was quick to help me with the situation and charged me 1/4 of what another shop wanted to charge me for what the other shop called "an emergency situation". The sebring timing belt broke and another shop charged me $100 to tell me it was not repairable. I took it to Ken and he fixed it in a relatively short time for less than the other shop wanted. My sister and her husband always take there vehicles to Ken. Thank you Renee and Steve for showing me this great resource I will continue to refer as you did me.thank you Ken!! Sincerely Paul

I have been using Ken for years the owner of Xpectmore Automotive. He is a top mechanic and there is nothing that he doesnt know about any car type. I would recommend Xpectmore Automotive for any of your automotive needs, and i mean anything. Thanks for all the great work you have done on our cars Ken, i would not take my car any place else. The last place i would take it to is the dealer. Great prices and top work at Xpectmore.

I to get a interlock installed from a DUI 30 yrs ago, they made the process easier and when I had a problem with the device the owner came to bernalillo and fixed it. No charge. I highly recommend them

Had to have AC repaired, called more than 5 shops and xpectmore was the cheapest by FAR. Great service, honest, and the costs of repairs are more than fair.

The best took my Ford f150 in for the spark plugs everyone else wanted double then what he charged so now i wont go anywhere else i even send my parents to have there cars worked on
