Quan is an exceptional human being, and his team of mechanics does a great job. I went in to have my catalytic converter checked, and it needed to be replaced. They didn't say call to make an appointment. They did it that day, and they always offer a loaner car. Who does that? His prices are also much cheaper than a dealership or other places. He and his brother work over 12 hours a day to ensure your car is serviced properly and on time. Thank you.

This is overall a great place to fix your vehicle. No mechanic is cheap these days, but they seem honest here and I feel like I get what I pay for which is quality work. My most recent visit wasn't great because my estimated time to pick up my car got pushed back 3 times for some reason. I almost gave this place 4 stars, but remembered that no place is perfect and that this is the first time that has ever happened. If the wait time being pushed back becomes the new norm, then I will drop my review to 4 stars. Overall, I do recommend getting your vehicle fixed here

They tried hard to work on my PORSCHE window but could not get it fixed here after all. They told me to take it to the dealership for that. I did not have to pay anything to get it checked out. The reason they still get FIVE STARS is not just because I did not pay, but because of everyone who helped me were nice, polite, very amiable and professional.They even let me borrow a vehicle..while they diagnosed my car ..(Not the best loaner I ever had but it took me to work and back when my car was ready for being picked up.)

I've been a loyal customer here for 15 years. I don't take my car anywhere else. Binh and Quan are honest and thorough, and they keep my car running at very fair prices.

I paid $2000 for several repairs- one of which was to replace the cv boots on my SUV. A week and a half after getting the car back, the cv boot tore while I was driving and the entire wheel came off of my car. The part was never replaced but I was charged for it. My car is totaled now due to frame damage incurred when the wheel came off. 10/22/21 picked up the car, 11/4/21 the wheel came off. They charged me for work they didn t do and parts they didn t replace.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Also Paid to get my windshield wipers sprayer fixed and still does not work... Not sure why I'm having the same codes come up every time I have to do emissions on this Cadillac after spending a lot of money for repairs and stupid check engine light comes back on after two hours after repair... I've called 5 years ago to let them know... Used them again for repairs... I called 2 years ago to let them know about light n wipers... At least they helped me pass emissions

If you have a Toyota or other Japanese car, take it here. That's their specialty. Less costly than another mechanic's estimate.Quan runs the VERY busy office. He was VERY polite and nice to me, as well as to the 8 or so other people i heard him interacting.Binh and various others work on the cars. Binh is nice; was recommended to me by family.

Was redirected here because their sister shop on Zuni is closed momentarily. Excellent and very well educated techs, quick emissions, and it hovers around $20. I was trying to tip my tech directly, he said no, just pay, and handed me the money back. Went in, paid, and the awesome tech still got a tip.

Check all the reviews and do not go here! Especially if you are a single female! They consistantly took advantage, doing extra work and over charging. I spent several thousand dollars, cleared my savings, I was too trusting.Bien is a good guy but Quan is a hustler. For just one example, I paid $600 to replace a power steering pump, which I later found out was very overpriced. They charged me $245 for labor, it's only an hour job!!!The pump went out again immediately. Quan lied and said it was my fault for not getting dealer parts. Dealer parts are not available for this vehicle. The pump has now gone out a third time, my $600 down the drain and have to pay someone else, who said the job was $350 at the most.My time and stress are also a big factor. I have found a new and reasonable mechanic, thank goodness.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They go thru an inspection beyond your reasons for repair, bringing other needs or concerns to your attention with price. They will go as far as what can be held off for now and no pressure on your final decision. Good people and have been bringing my vehicles to them since early 2000.

I went to this place for a diagnostic. They said it was going to be $90. Come to find out that the did other services that I did not ask for and without my permission and expected me to pay for them. I ended up spending $290 on services that I did not want. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. if you decide to do business with them, pay for your services in advance.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

The owner is kind, but I will not be back. I have spent almost $2000 since last Oct and have nearly nothing to show for it. They kept having me come back and charging me more and more $$ for things they fixed. Our air conditioning was working fine last Oct, but there was a strange noise. We took our car in and they replaced the air compressor and THAT DAY, the air conditioning stopped working. They said it had nothing to do with their work. Just old hoses. They quoted us $760 to fix those, which we just can t afford. Don t get me started on the fluids they forgot to put in with the oil change. Worst mechanic I ve ever been to. Supposedly they used to be great, but have gone downhill. Unfortunately, we got caught in the crud

Worst place ever. I had to get a new serpentine belt put on my car and got told it was only going to be $60-$90 because I already had the part. When I showed up they were charging me $300 for a part that was broken. I even asked them to call me before they did any work to my car. Quan was very rude and aggressive saying he didn t care and he was going to charge me $300 or $100 to take the parts all off. All the office staff even apologized to me about Quan being so rude and disrespectful. Do not go to this place worst owner ever.

A friend came here to get her car repaired. Owner was super nice the first time - offered donuts, said they could fix it. When she went to pick up her vehicle, the check engine light was on. She got the code read and it said something with the gas system was off (they replaced the gas tank). She went back and the owner became very defensive and rude. Under the contract, he said the work was under warranty, but when she came back he said it was $90 diagnostic and wouldn t look at it. This was a couple days after she picked it up. He starting yelling at her and saying it wasn t under warranty, and eventually told her to take him to court. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Put it this way, If a business opens at 6:30am in Albuquerque that s not a breakfast place that s a first sign of a place you know they re serious about work.With that said, I was very impressed with this place. Quan was very specific and direct with his time and expectant wait. We have an older Honda and he asked if it was okay if he could like at it for 2-3 days. We took it to several other places and they couldn t figure out what the problem was.Someone called me at 9am the next morning to tell me I could come and pick up my car. I couldn t believe it because my experience with mechanics here have been not so good.The car is running better than ever and no sign of that problem any more.They re truly experts when it comes to Asian vehicles.

By far the most friendly people I have ever met and auto repair service. They genuinely seem to care and want to Foster good relationships with their customers and I would say they different weight put the people over profit and over the machines they are working on. The whole area has a good energy about it. Sitting in there waiting from feels more like a comfortable space. They're very fair priced and they different my know their trade very well. I give my highest recommendation apps I have been to many mechanics but I haven't been very pleased with. Thanks everyone for expressed thing so much love and good hearted energy through your work

I used to have good experiences, but they've gone down hill.Scheduled to drop my truck off, they said it'd be two hours. Called back after 5 hours, they changed it to 3 days because they were so busy. Good thing I called the day before to schedule it.And then I picked it up, paid $700, and when I started the truck the engine was still knocking. Somehow they didn't hear that?They looked at it again and said it needed a new engine for $5k. The truck isn't worth that much, and why did I just pay $700 for work if the engine is going to go?I got them to take $200 off the work done after much arguing. Took my truck to another mechanic, turned out the engine only needed a tensioner for the timing belt replaced. Cost me $500 instead of Super 6 Tokyo's $5k. They also had to replace a disintegrated gasket that Tokyo had just put in doing the $700 of work.

I had a lot of work to be done on my 99 4Runner, Bihn was very quick on getting my issues resolved and took the time to show me what was replaced. They called to check in when I needed an oil change a couple more things I couldn't afford the first go around. I took my Suzuki Grand Vitara in for a water pump that went out. They fixed the water pump n did a oil change n a couple of weeks later we noticed the oil was leaking. I took it back yesterday n they replaced a oil pan gasket n it was still leaking when I got home, even worse! I do not recommend this place, I spent $2100 n still have problems!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

My 2008 Honda CRV is doing great because Super 6 Tokyo Auto Service takes such great care of her. They always show me what isn't working and why, give me reasonable prices, help me to order refurbished parts to save $$ and are always kind and welcoming. They offer me their car to use if I have a long wait and offer me treats while I am waiting. I completely trust them and highly recommend them.

These guys come through for me time and time again. I don't go to mechanics often but when I do it's Super 6. Quan and his mechanics aren't there to pull the wool over your eyes. They're honest and upfront, and always ask for your approval before making repairs. They're thorough and efficient and will get you out the door as with a purring vehicle. And best of all, they provide you with a loaner car so your life isn't interrupted.

I don't know how this place doesn't have a full five star rating! Best service in New Mexico! Great prices and the staff is unmatched!!!! My father-in-law recommended this place to me 10 years ago because he had been going there pretty much since they opened. I think we are all skeptical about mechanics, and I was too. But the first repair I had done with the timing belt on a Toyota Camry. They finished in a very timely matter, beat everyone's price, and did not try to sell me things I did not need. Since then I have taken my vehicle nowhere else.

I called them before I went there. I stated the problem and the owner told me to drive in and said to me that the diagnosis cost would $90. When I was there, one the technician asked me about the issue, and he asked me if I could wait for 45 min and diagnosis cost will be $90. It is consistent with what the owner told mebefore. However, the owner took over and told me the diagnosis cost will be from $150 to 300, and it will take about 2 to 3 days to finish. It is really unprofessional and the charge is randomly set. I decided not to do repair. I went to Toyota dealer, waited for about 1 hour. One of fuse was broken and cost is $78. Please not be the victim of such unprofessional practices. BTW, although the name of shop has the Tokyo, there is nothing related to Tokyo.

This is the best mechanic shop in town so far, they back up their work and even offer a car for you to drive if your vehicle is taking longer to repair than expected!! Mr.Quan is s UK per friendly and attentive, he will always offer you a drink and ask if there's anything else you need. Do you need a ride home while your car is being repaired? Sure! .... that's the level of service you'll be receiving here. Almost too good to be true considering how DIFFICULT it is to find an honest mechanic shop, but be sure that they will explain exactly what's wrong with your vehicle and show you the parts replaced or what not. Full disclosure! I haven't been to a mechanic shop like this... ever actually. I'm not getting paid for this review, this is an honest review and I'll change it quickly if things change but I don't see how with their labor & parts guaranteed... I just believe everyone deserves good service like this, specially if you aren't car savvy, you can rest assured that they will leave your vehicle running like new!

Professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable. Precise estimate for extensive work on my wife's classic 1993 Infiniti and stayed within it. Saved all old parts for our examination, without asking, and provided detailed explanation of work in a manner we fully understood. Other vehicles already scheduled for preventive maintenance. Finally, mechanics we trust.Update:Ford Motor Company wouldn't warranty the steering that abruptly locked-up on our Ford Focus! Numerous complaints on the web by others with same complaint. We took car to Mr. Nguyen at Super 6 Tokyo Automotive. He ordered and installed new rack and pinion steering system and it handles perfectly. Job was completed in two days.Update:Super 6 Tokyo has been doing work on my 1990 F-250, including regular maintenance and electrical, and air conditioning system replacement. I love these folks!

When mechanics recommend work to a vehicle, in most cases it's because the mechanic has noticed a potential issue that needs resolved. I don't think the average person understands just how many things need to be fixed or replaced on automobiles. Remember, a big bill isn't a mechanics fault, they are just trying to help you not die on the highwayGreat shop, honest employees, quick service. Seems to me most negative reviews about this shop come from people who didn't want to hear their cars had problems....

We were in town from Oklahoma City visiting family when our Oddessey broke down. Not only did they fit us in to their schedule, they had us back in the road in one day! Replaced alternator, belt and ps pump in record time, even cleaned fuel injectors. All for a very reasonable price! Best crew i have come across. Thanks Super 6! You guys are the best.
