Awesome, will only go there for my Rover. My suspension completely failed and they installed a heavy duty 4" suspension on my sport.I will never go to the dealership again. They were expensive and didn't fix the problem, Rob and his mechanics are all certified Land Rover guys and fair!!!! UPDATE, Rob and his crew have out done themselves, Installed new transmission, transfer case , pretty much rebuild the top end of my 4.2 supercharged engine, installed my new offroad bumper and lights. she now runs better than I ever dreamed. These guys are AWESOME!! I m on an Overlanding/Off-road adventure from Phoenix to Colorado Springs. Had a major cooling system malfunction, and not only were these guys able to get me in NEXY DAY and back on the road, and save me from being stranded miles from home, they did it with extreme care! Whole step of the way they kept me updated! If you have a Land Rover in the Albuquerque area, go see these guys!!

Dave and his crew are a godsend. Old-school customer service, experts in their field and highly competent folks. These guys saved me thousands and did so while maximizing style points- so great to work with and glad I found them. You wont find a better independent Rover specialist.

Dave and Rob and the whole team is excellent!! Had a persistent issue with the check engine light on my LR4 and they made sure to go the extra mile to solve the issue and do it at a very fair price! The owner Rob goes above and beyond for his customers. I was stranded on Labor day weekend with 1100 miles ahead of me. Rob delived the part and got me on my way.

Southwest rover has been the only place I take my range rover to for repairs , Rob and David whom I have known for the past 23 years have always been good to me and takes care of all my needs and they are really good people to know in Albuquerque, they will work with you and I really will like all of New Mexico land rover owners to go to them for any thing they need, they are very professional and good at what they do.

Rob knows his stuff. He rebuilt/refurbished the entire power train on my 97 Defender 90, including replacing the 4 L engine with a 4.6 L at 270,000 miles. It's still going strong at 305,000 miles

These guys are the real deal! Honest, honest, honest! They are also thorough. I have never gotten such good gas milage as when they serviced my vehicle. You cannot go wrong. Great place to take your Range Rover to get fixed. Rob and his team are honest and fair with pricing. Much better deal then the dealer. I would highly recommend this place for others.I was impressed! Thanks for replacing my air ride compressor.

I was told by the Land Rover dealership that I needed a new engine. I was about ready to scrap the vehicle until someone told me to first check with Rob at Southwest Rover. That was the best decision I made. Rob is a much better mechanic than the dealer as he was able to fix my issue for a few hundred bucks as the dealership wanted to charge $13,000 for a new engine. I highly recommend Rob and his men above the dealerships men and crew.

Rob and his staff at Southwest Rovers have been great!! They keep my 1997 Discovery XT running well with 250K miles on it :) They have provided excellent repairs for a reasonable price and wonderful customer service. Without a doubt THE place for Rover repairs in NM.

If you own a Landrover it's the only place to go. They're mechanics have been doing it longer then the dealer. I had the pleasure of meeting Rob and some of his staff when my air suspension started to act up while on a road trip across the country. Rob and his staff were all very knowledgable, friendly, and were willing to help me out to get me back on the road ASAP. Would highly recommend this shop for a more affordable and more personal experience than the dealership. Thanks guys!

Rob and his Staff keep my 03 Disco SE7 alive and well as it approaches 200K miles. Runs better now than it ever has! Highly recommend!

I was stranded in Angel fire and he helped me out with parts over the phone. I had a friend pick them up locally and I was able to get rolling the next day. Local auto parts stores or 4 to 5 days out.

HORRIBLE FAKE LR MECHANIC! "ROB"SHADY DO NOT GO HERE!Brought my Imported UK Spec 1989 LR Defender 110 to this shop to have it looked at for a sale. Thought he'd be happy to see this but he was offended when I corrected him about my engine and chassis. Told him I had had this rover seen by many LR Engineers out in England showed him my heritage certificates of authenticity but he waived it off. Noticed he had been using the wrong fluids and not going by the Haynes Manuals. BAISIC MECHANIC SKILLS.He then tried to under buy the guy I was selling the defender to by saying it wasn't worth anything but hed make me a offer. I declined, he later spoke to the guy after and told him not to buy it as It wasn't worth much. He also tried in imitating that I had ileagaly imported the vehicle. I am in the US Air Force and worked my ass off through Customs in order to make sure everything was correct and legal for import.

Ran into a problem that was over my head..Came to rob, told me what to expect,, got me in fast,, stayed in contact,, got my LR4 back with no problems at all.. Very personal, came recomend them enough..If there was more than 5 stars, they deserve it..

Stopped in after driving from Florida. The AC leaked due to a pinhole in one of the lines. They were able to fix the issue and helped out with some preventative measures to save headaches down the road. These guys are friendly and extremely helpful.

Very helpful. They dont try to sell you things your vehicle doesn't need. And actually talk to you like a human. Love this place
