I feel that this dealership is not fair and sells vehicles that turn out to be lemons and will not even take responsibility to fix the problem. It s seems that they do not want to fix their mistakes. I would not buy anything from this dealership. How can you buy a vehicle and have it break down within 6 months. That is not logical. Apparently the vehicle already had problems when it was sold but they didn t bother to fix the problems. Therefore the vehicle completely broke down. Where is fair business. Not in this dealership.

Bought a truck and not even 6 months later the engine blew. Clay put all of the blame on me. I reported shortly after purchase that my instrument cluster was malfunctioning. I was told to bring it in but I live 90 miles away and was also told they would need it for 2 days to repair. I bought this truck believing it wasn't a lemon but the dealership didn't even inspect it before hand. I still had to bring it to the dealership so they could do the Vin inspection.

I have had my little truck for 6yrs now. They took a chance on me at a time I needed a vehicle. The interest was high, but they are taking a risk on you. I would highly recommend to someone who needs a vehicle and needs someone to take a chance on them.

The Employee's are Amazing. They made Me and My Husband feel wounderful like as if we were Family to them. Clay one of Their Sales Person made us Feel so comfortable well choosing a vehicle from there Sales Lot. Never felt unnoticed at all. He showed us respect and answered.all our questions. If Y'all are looking for a car. This is the place too go. And We feel. Confident that Y'all will feel the same.

Went by to look a couple good looking vehicles, walked around looking no one jumped me No one tried forcing me to buy a car. It was nice. I was asked if I had any questions and I talked to the manager for a while. Asked about a few vehicles I liked, very clean you could eat off the engine compartment. I was pleasantly surprised. The cars and SUVs I looked at smelled good the car I test ride was like new. Everything worked on it. I'm going back. Some car lots I've visited recently my goodness your going to need to step it up.

I have to share a lengthy story but if you are looking to buy a good car and not get taken read my review please. You will be glad you did. As for doing 1/3 down and my particulars I can t attest if that is still how it s done but I believe so because I sent my son here and many other people over the years. I may also be incorrect about the exact business license number but close enough. I m getting old. True Story!I m unsure where recommendations go so I am sharing here. Robert Gibson Auto Sales on 4th is one of 2 original Car lots here in Albuquerque. I had the pleasure of being brought home by Robert Gibson s grandson because they were doing work on my car. The other Auto Sale Business that was in the firsts here was Galles. Both of which are still in business. I believe he told me their business license number is like 0009.I purchased a good car from them in 2017. It was such a good deal especially when you are a senior on a tight budget. The car is a 2003 that had about 35,000 actual miles. I paid it off in 2019. I want to tell you all that they did ( & probably still do their own in house financing)no credit check. You put 1/3 down and get full coverage insurance and you can set your payment for x amount of years. If you buy from them you get any parts needed at cost with very affordable labor regarding the mechanic costs. They will drop you off and pick you up if needed when your car is ready. I have been through some tough things since 2018 and the car suffered from the other person s negligence as far as normal care and maintenance. I had a tail light replaced and purchased wipers then advised I needed a tuneup and diagnostics ran because I knew there was a small oil leak and for certain a bad CV joint. Upon inspection I needed a new valve cover gasket and both CV joints replaced immediately. Well I just didn t have the money at the time. I was having the VCG and oil change done and wanted an appointment for cv s to be done on the first. Clay and said I just can t in good conscience let you drive with the severity of your front axle. He said it would & could be life threatening to me and anyone in close proximity. It was finished this morning and they picked me up and we made arrangements. Who does this especially today? Robert Gibson s and my son just bought a vehicle from them and they have addressed things that no one was aware that needed fixed. This is a family owned and operated business who has the same integrity as Mr. Gibson had. If you need a good vehicle and want an honest deal they are the absolute best that Albuquerque has to offer since 1940 something. In this day and time that is rare. Clay, Angel and Miss Sherrie are so nice, we had been checking to see if they had any trucks, at least once or twice a week, I was down that way on Friday and we brought our truck home Saturday. Clay is very nice, he gave us a very good deal ,, Thanks Clay

Horrible experience bought a car at the end of July. Within 24 hours the catalytic converter went bad. 2 months later the transmission started going out. Took it to them for repair and they had it for 3 weeks. Granted they gave a loaner that leaked fluids all over my driveway, the engine light was on, the seatbelt light randomly flashed and beeped while I was driving. That car lasted me 2 weeks before the transmission gave out and left me stranded. I have had my car back for a couple of weeks with more car problems. Stranded!!!!

Bought our first vehicle, a 1973 Monte Carlo, at Robert B Gibson back in 1979. My wife's family bought vehicles there before that and both of our boys bought there. They're like family.

Poor service very unprofessional and will not admit when at fault. Took my vehicle here for servicing 4 months after buying they broke stuff and wanted me to pay to fix it. Will not be coming back here and word of mouth is very powerful!! Attorney General here i come!!!!!
