Austin with sales was awesome along with Larry. But the service department on the other hand is such a disappointment. They are quick to sell you the most expensive maintenance plan and they can t even perform a simple tire rotation. The reason is that /they (Don the service manager) don t rotate tires on a Dually. But when my wife asked they wanted to charge her $300. Is this a way to make more money or a way to do less work? Is it laziness or lack of knowledge on a proper maintenance? Last I checked it is more work to rotate tires on a Dually but it is possible. A knowledgeable tire tech has to dismount from wheels. This just makes me wonder if my vehicle gets the professional knowledge needed for service or repairs.

I am so upset with Reliable yet again. I bought my car through Reliable with zero mileage. They have been servicing my car since it came off the lot. There should be no reason why the pan threads are worn out and causing my car to leak oil. This happens when someone, at some time or other, tightened the oil plug too tight or crossthreaded it. I dread coming to this service department.

Never will I buy a vehicle from here that isn't a chevy. 2 weeks they had my vehicle, the first week I thought ok sure, that sounds about reasonable, but if you ever try to call, or even have them call you back, forget about it. The first week, nothing was done, called and called for them to say "it's next in que" I left it hoping it would be ready before I had to turn my rental in, nope, buy I had to go to work and so I picked it up.Took it back again, because it's under warranty, which I also purchased from them when I bought my Jeep, Monday thru Friday no call, no return call, no update at all. I finally went in, so mad, no one answers the phone, all I wanted was an update, and then they call me back and say "we don't have the right computer to do the update needed for your vehicle, go to jeep Chrysler and dodge". So why sell vehicles that you can't fix? UNRELIABLE CHEVROLET IS THE NAME.We also still Have no spare tire, which should've been in the vehicle in the first place.

Our first oil change with our new car went well. I was in and out quickly. The second scheduled oil change I show up for my appointment and am told it will be 3.5hrs instead of the usual 2. So I reschedule for when the big kids will be in school and the earliest appointment they can get me thinking they won't be as backed up... wrongo apparently it is standard to double book?I've been here two hours (I was 15 minutes early to my appointment because I try to be on time) and the car service has not even been started yet. I asked if it was done because I noticed it was parked in a side lot. It took a good while to even speak with Vicente... he was unaware of the vehicles status and when I said it was parked in the side lot he said oh it must be done but let me do someone else's paperwork first. While waiting another employee kindly asked if they could help and tried to track down my paperwork and keys.Still waiting for my car to begin being serviced. We already paid for service when we bought our car and I hope it can be fulfilled in a professional manner.0 stars to Vicente. Solid 5 stars to Ryan for trying to help.Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Outstanding customer service! Stopped in with a question about my fuse box. Adrian and Aaron took the time to answer my question, and provide some additional follow-on advice. This will definitely earn my business when I have a repair or routine maintenance to take care of it. Thank you gentlemen!!

every other time i have brought my truck in for service it has been handled professionally and quickly. yesterday's experience was terrible from the start. first the man who handled the transaction was dismissive and pretty much arrogant. i was 15 minutes early for an oil change. it still ended up taking over two hours for the job to be completed. once done again everyone in the garage was rude, arrogant and looking at me hard for complaining. that didnt bother me at all. i worked with men all my life. but to treat your valued customers this way unacceptable. the worst part is the dismissiveness of the agent. He doesnt know i worked in a mechanics shop for 20 years. i understand everything it takes for an 20 minute oil change or maybe an hour if they are checking filters and topping fluids. he tried to sell me additives that were not needed. terrible experience.Service: Oil change

Dropped off my vehicle about 2 months ago Brian was my representative lets just say he Dropped the ball drastically took a week after dropping it off before they looked at my vehicle at which time I had to call to follow up giving all my info for my warranty for my transmission. Another week passes brain calls me to get my info again for my warranty as if he forgot our previous conversation a week prior. Having to wait another week no follow up till I call to find out. they still have not finished up info to send to my warranty company. Only after calling to speak with a manager did they finish getting the info sent over my transmission finally gets to the shop and I was told Monday 8-1--2022 my vehicle will be done well guess what it's not. Suggest if you need your vehicle serviced go anywhere elseService: Transmission repair

Overall good service If first person asked does not know an answer someone else will. Really nice and capable service department Really nice to have a place that specializes in the make and model cars it sells. Happy colleagues (prefer this term to 'employee' feel like more than this here), reliable as necessary clear cut service without any gimmicks really Really enhances leasing and owning a car you want to stay in touch with the dealership about things. This dealership gets a lot if business and wish for good fair prices to remain because keeps customers returning. Thank you Big Mike and Chevy for leasing me my first car in New Mexico - it is working out superbly!

I paid a lot of money for poor quality of service. I have only been in New Mexico 37 days and my vehicle is still in the shop since September 23rd, 2022 and counting do to poor quality technicians as well as communication among the staff, today is October 7th, 2022. The Lyft service that they provide is free and is extremely poor quality also (i.e. Long wait times, consistent changing of drivers, poor quality of vehicles and very unclean vehicles, etcetera). I'm deeply disappointed!Sincerely,Combat Veteran

3 hrs to do a complimentary oil change, i dont know if it took this long because it was complimentary or if they always work this slow. When i asked what was taking so long they said they were having difficulty removing the drain plug which i tightened myself when i changed the oil.there were no problems with the drain plug when i did it. After i told them that their excuse changed and they said they didnt have the propper oil filter and had to send someone to get it.

This place is terrible. I went in to get my 2020 Equinox serviced. Prior to getting work done, my car was working fine. I received a tire balance and rotation as well as an oil change. Fast forward a week after, my traction control light comes on and my tires are shaking when driving. I call them to see if there's anything that can be done and the response was, "well wheel bearings go out all the time...none of this is our fault!" I didn't place blame but was simply expressing that I hadn't had any issues prior to them looking at it! He hung up and that was it! Not caring about my issue or anything. I'm no longer in the area so there isn't much I can do! Please avoid this place at all costs!

Taking my car to this place was the worst experience I have ever had getting work done on my car. Do not work with Victor as your service writer, he is a scam artist. I took my car in to get some work done and they had to keep my car for 3 weeks before they could work on it. $850 dollars later they returned my car with none of the problems fixed. Now they want to keep my car for another 3-4 weeks before they can get to my car to look it over again... Why will they not allow me to set up an appointment??? They said my car has to be on the lot waiting in line for all those weeks. Victor is confident they did nothing wrong, and claims that it will likely cost $100's more because there are "steps" to fixing a car. One of the things they fixed was an evaporative emissions leak which is still leaking.... Why would they not do a smoke test after the repair to verify that they did the work right and that there are no other leaks. The other problem they "fixed" is now also back with even more codes than before. These guys are a joke, take your car somewhere else.Service: Electrical repair

Intake manifold needed to be replaced on a Chevy Cruze. The Tech, removed the belt and started removing parts that did not need to be removed. Not sure what part was broken but it is critical for the belt to operate. Due to this, the belt could not be put on correctly and the replacement part is apparently nowhere in the state. A 2 hour warranty fix has turned into a 5 day minimum repair. I have done this repair myself previously and figured since it was under warranty l, why not have the dealership do the repairs? I will not be taking any of my vehicles back to have work done here.

Service department ordered the wrong part so now I have to bring my vehicle back for a 2nd time. Poor communication as the service advisor didn't even call me before leaving for the day about the status of my vehicle and kept it longer than promised. Have had nothing but problems with this dealerships service department and do not recommend at all. Go elsewhere if possible.

Normally my scheduled services don't take this long. What's the point in making an appointment if it's going to take 5 hours before they get to your vehicle??Very unhappy with the timing of today's service. The only good thing they have going for them is their salesman Oliver.

I had the most memorable auto repair experience from reliable Chevrolet. Traveling thru Albuquerque with 2009 Yukon Denali and towing a travel trailer we were informed of a passenger side head lamp outage. We were in Albuquerque three nights. The RV park rep suggested Reliable Chevrolet when I asked about possible service. Early on in my 77 years I have had some horrible experiences with car dealer service departments. In that light I was expecting to pay big bucks to replace a head lamp bulb.I knew it was a messy job because I had replaced the driver side my self. The manual instructs the mechanic to remove the bumper to get at necessary fasteners. To my surprise they handle this repair with extraordinary service. The mechanic, who I never saw, was able to replace the bulb with some tricks of the trade no doubt. To my delight, this service along with an air filter was done for less than $100. I m not able to rate this service high enough because they only allow five stars. What a great service department.

Took 6 weeks for 2 window regulators n a oil change and I filled up my car 2 days before dropping it off but it's at an 8th so unless you want em joyriding your gas away I'd go somewhere else I will say the price my warranty told me I'd be paying was much higher than final cost but that still doesn't make up for it

I took in my Silverado for some warranty work, and went over to the dealership side to see if I could get a trade-in deal. They went over to the service side to appraise the value. Unbeknownst to me, the appraiser took off with the keys and went home. They did not tell me this, and when it was a half hour before closing time, I went in to check on the time frame. They told me they hadn't been able to work on it all day and I would have to come back tomorrow. I had been waiting in the customer service waiting area all day, and they did not inform me of their error until I asked what the hold up was. They did give me $50 in gas when they finished the work the next day. This is why they did not get a one star rating.Additionally, I went in the next month for an unscheduled oil change, and they told me the waiting time would be about two hours. It was closer to three hours before I got my vehicle back.

We bought a Chrysler minivan from Reliable in June. Within a few days of taking it home I noticed the air wasn't running very cold. I took it in to be checked. There was a Freon leak. I guess their million point inspection missed this? The shop manager tried to tell me that the air conditioning wasn't covered under the lemon law. He said only the drive train is covered, which is a lie. After a few days of noodling with the van, they decide they need to replace the compressor, but try to reuse old corroded ac lines. Eventually after a week of playing with the van, they figure out all the lines need to replaced. I hadn't had the van but a few days and then had to leave it for a two week repair.About two weeks ago my check engine light came on and then the van failed to start. I had it towed to them and then began another week of our van stuck without being repaired. First they couldn't run a code check because they didn't have the equipment for a Chrysler! We bought the van from them along with a warranty they said had to be serviced by them, yet they don't have the proper equipment to service the van? Then they wanted to charge us to replace a battery in order to check if something else was wrong. Finally they decide it is the purge valve with no further explanation on how they came to that conclusion. We ended up paying 500 bucks to replace a valve and get a new battery. The very next day, the check engine light is back on.The good news is that I called the warranty provider and they said they would be willing to work with whatever shop was willing to work with them, so when they told us we had to have the van serviced there, it was a lie. The bad news is that we are out 500 bucks and now need to find an actually reliable mechanic.UPDATE FROM NEW MECHANIC////We took it to a new mechanic. They reported that the evap lines were all unplugged and capped off and we had a gas leak. They said it looked like the mechanic was in the middle of testing something and never returned to hook the system back up. So Reliable Chevrolet, not only didn't fix the problem, they left our van in a dangerous state that could have led to a fire. They let us leave their shop with parts unassembled and a GAS LEAK!!!!!!! When we called to report this, Tony, the manager, said it couldn't have been them because they didn't look at the fuel tank. We had multiple phone calls with them stating they were looking at the evap lines. Liars and potential murderers

We have had out vehicle there a couple of times now and both times I've had to chase them down for any information on the vehicle. We went 2 full weeks without hearing a word from them. When I finally called, our service manager Kevin did not know anything either. He then said he would find out and call me back but he never did. We use this location because our vehicles require a service that other places can't do. If it were not for that, we would not be using them again.

Went in with a code P305F having to to with dual battery, which is a service bulletin that was not checked, the check engine light was on. All they did was replace the main battery, which cost me $988! After a couple of weeks check engine light came back on with same code. I will not be taking it back there because I can't afford them! And my car was there for a week! The service bulletin tells you what to check for but I guess they didn't look into it. Now I have to look for a mechanic that I can trust. I have a 2014 Malibu.Service: Battery

Bad first experience. The first employee I spoke with, behind a desk, was not friendly or welcoming at all. Since it was my first time there I didnt know where I needed to go. My appointment was scheduled for 8:30 and I arrived at 8am for an oil change and I was advised that it was going to be a 90 minute wait. I passed on the free oil change and went elsewhere.

Attention: ALL CORVETTE OWNERS---I took in my C-6 corvette for an oil change at Reliable Chevrolet off of Coors in Albuquerque. They had quoted me $99.99 plus tax over the phone. When i paid for the service, my service adviser Victor charged me $81.00 and some change. When i got home I notice they did not put the Mobil 1 oil in as the vehicle calls for. Instead they used Dexos oil. I called Victor to see why Mobil 1 Oil was not used. Victor told me. "This is the oil we use and its a GM product." I specifically requested that my car use Mobil 1 and mentioned that's what the book calls for. Victor told me that they made a mistake on paper work and put Dexos instead of Mobil 1. He then asked that I look at the numbers next to the Dexos oil , and that the numbers would match the Mobil 1 oil. I thoroughly looked through the paperwork/ service report and again told him that the numbers do not match and in all reality that was not the point. I simply requested Mobil 1. Victor proceeded to tell me to bring the vehicle back and they'd redo the oil change. When I took it back I asked him to show me the Mobil1 oil filter. Victor told me I didn't need the Mobil 1 Oil Filter and they were out of stock. He notified me of a wait, but failed to mention the approximate wait time that the dealership would have Mobile 1 filters. Victor was not very informative nor upfront and definitely NOT honest. Clearly he didn't show much care with (me) the customer. This was or could have been a simple transaction. It's very disappointing.

I bought a new truck from. them its a 2021 chev Silverado Custom drove it 120 miles and had to put it in the shop but they fixed it like they said they would im not from here so I signed a paper for them to pay all of the tax title tag for the state o Florida where I'm from to have all of that sent there so I could tag and register it in Florida so everything was already paid for I'm still here in New Mexico working my wife received a letter. Saying I owe 500 and something more dollars and I didn't sign the power of attorney papers at the dealership that it wasn't completed so I called Noah at Reliable Chevrolet And sent him a picture of it and he told me he had a guy their that would take care of it for me and he would call me back and let me know what was done when I signed all the paper work they told me not to worry everything was taken care of and it's not I have a drive out tag on it but its been going on for about 2 months now it was last week when I sent him all that information no one has called me back about this matter not will he answer his cell phone now there closed until December first because of this covid stuff who's to say whats going to happen December first I can't tag my truck because of this matter I didn't want to do this but I feel I wasn't given no choice in the matter so if someone thats higher up the ladder there could help me I would be thank ful to them if I don't get this matter took care of ill never be able to tag the truck and stuck with 5 years of payments on something I can't drive

Working with Fred Peralta was one of the better decisions made when we decided it was time for a new ride. He went to work for us! He did everything he could to get us the vehicle we wanted with the price that was suitable for us! I will be more than happy to send people his way!We are definitely enjoying our 2020 Chevy Silverado!!!

I definitely found them "reliable." Each time I called, staff was courteous and professional. The vehicle pick up was easy and fast. My car drives like a brand new car.
