Great mechanic and not too expensive. Did a great job on my little sisters Mini Cooper and was quick with repairs. Seems a lot more honest than most in the area, making this my new go to place in Albuquerque.

This shop is top notch in every way. Work, price, honesty and customer service is second to none. If you have a German vehicle and live in Albuquerque or the surrounding areas this is the place to go for sure. I am absolutely smitten with my experience..I tried a few shops unfortunately before I was turned on to Motor Werks. Thank you !!

I've been trying to find an honest shop in this city for a while. Motor Werks is not only honest, their pricing is fair and unlike other shops, they don't keep your car for weeks they get you back on the road SAME DAY! I met the technician Lucas, he really knows his stuff and always explains what's going on, in words you understand.

Highly recommend Motor werks, I've been getting all my maintenance done from oil changes to My transmission, family owned and ran and they care about you and your family! Brittany and James are awesome they always go above and beyond for you and they are the only shop I trust to keep my vw and bmw safe for my family!! I truly appreciate everything they have done for my family keeping us safe on th road! Truly blessed to have found them !!

Have had James at Motor werks service our 2 VWs from transmission work to coolant to normal oil changes this past year. They do an outstanding job and the price is always reasonable. Highly recommend going nowhere else but here.

I normally never leave Google reviews unless it's a positive experience.With that being said, if you need work done on your car, GO HERE!I showed up without an appointment yesterday, 45 minutes before they closed, because I had just bought a used car that had a headlight and a taillight out.They had my car in the shop within 3 minutes, fixed both issues, and it was done within 15 minutes!They didn't even charge me for labor because apparently, it was an easy fix(When I googled how to change the headlight bulb, I found that my car's design requires you to take the entire bumper cover off. Turns out, that wasn't the case, and Google mechanics are idiots.).Any other place, I guarantee would have charged me at least $150.They did it for the cost of the bulbs, which they had on-hand.Great customer service, the mechanics know their stuff, and I'm so relieved to find an auto-body shop that isn't looking to screw you over.I honestly wanna send them a Christmas card! That's how great their customer service is!Especially If you have a Honda, this place is the place!11/10!

Love these guys! I take my BMWs to them and they are great. Often times if it s something small they won t charge, but even when they do their pricing is fair. Highly recommend!

This establishment made my vehicle worse off than it was when I dropped it off! The worst experience I have had. Please beware of this establishment before you take your nice expensive vehicle to them! As a side note, please teach the counter lady some customer service skills. She has the personality of a dead fish!

We first found MotorWerks when James and Brittany had only been open a couple of months, over on Juan Tabo. Back then, James was able to quickly fix an issue that another German car repair specialist screwed up not once, but twice.My son's supped up Mini got sick and once again James and Brittany (she is not just a pretty face, she knows her stuff) were able to fix the green monster quickly. They always communicate anything they come across that is out of the ordinary and unlike a lot of places are genuinely interested in their customers and their cars.I know I have found a mechanic for life!!!James and Brittany, thank you for all that you have helped us with.L. This is one of the worst places to get your car fixed. Dishonest as they come. Please stay away from here and do not use the payment plans they provide. Surprise 130% interest rate. Sleazy people that take advantage of you when your car needs to be repaired.

BEWARE!!! Avoid these SCAMMERS at ALL cost! Extremely rude and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The receptionist and her husband the mechanic have NO CLUE what customer service is!!! They don t answer the phone or return calls! Total perfect epitome of GHETTO! These people don t care about you or your car! They don t want your business! Call now and complain about something they did wrong like I did and see the GHETTO come out for yourself! After you call them call CYFD to report that baby they have there everyday crawling around on the greasy floors! SMH! They won t be in business long just like that shady import guy in Rio Rancho.

Going on two years now since I discovered Motor Werks, and this is now the only shop where I will bring my car for maintenance as long as I own it. From the pre-purchase inspection to big repair after an accident, Motor Werks goes above and beyond when they don't have to.

Took my TDI Beetle here for an injection pump swap. They called me back saying they couldn t get it started and blamed it on the injection pump being faulty, so they charged me $500 for the labor and didn t even have the courtesy to recharge my batter after killing it. After paying to tow it to another mechanic and spending another $350, it turns out the new pump was fine, these guys just installed the fuel lines backwards near the tank, which didn t even have to be touched during an injection pump swap. At first I thought No big deal, sucks I had to pay for it but we all make mistakes, I won t bother writing a poor review. But after recently talking to my friend who recommended this shop to me, he informed me that he had to redo almost $1,000 worth of suspension work he had done at this shop because of faulty installation after failing an import inspection on his BMW 335d. Wow. If you want half-*** work done, this is your shop.

I highly recommend Motor Werks for your auto repairs. I have been taking my Audi A3 for service here for the last year and I have been satisfied with everything James has done with my car. I had an appointment this morning at 1000am, showed up but door was locked and place was empty! They apparently went on a 3 week road trip and failed to take the time to call anyone to be curtesy and considerate of their customers time! This family owned and operated shop is my favorite mechanic hands down. They have been working on my Volkswagen Golf for a few months and I refuse to take it elsewhere if possible. Their prices are fair for the quality and customer service they provide. If you are just looking for an oil change it might take an hour to get it done, but I guarantee you it will have been done correctly and with quality products. They do their best to make sure you can get in the day you need to be seen. The lobby is small but comfortable so any waiting is bearable. Because it is run by a husband and wife team they don't try to take advantage of anyone regardless of gender (something I have experienced too many times with mechanics here in ABQ) nor do they push tons of upsales. Also, one thing that I respect about them is that if there is something that they can't do or aren't equipped to do they will tell you and make sure you are able to get the help you need.

Brittany and James are very thorough and they get to know you and your car. Fairly priced and they never try to do more work than what is needed. I recommend everyone I meet with a European car to their business. Took my Jetta TDI in for AC diagnosis after a different shop had already failed to diagnose the problem. They got it accurately diagnosed and repaired in the same day. Wanted to wait a couple weeks before leaving a review to make sure the problem is truly resolved. I'm happy to report that in this 95 degree heat, as long as I'm driving, my nips can cut glass! No waiting, quick turn around, no back and forth, price comparable to other places, and they warrantee the repair! Very knowledgeable, use OEM parts, and A+ customer service. Will absolutely be using them in the future for my VW!

Oct 2022 Update...Great service, once again. James is an excellent technician and honest as the day is long. I won't take my Mini Countryman anywhere else.Original Review --------------------Exceptional service and value. Found the real root cause of the problem with my Mini Countryman and saved me THOUSANDS of dollars off what Mini was going to charge me. Very honest people. I will be back for all my service needs and recommend Motor Werks to my friends.

Have taken my car there a few times for routine maintenance. Recently had an issue with the cold Air only blowing out of my driver's side. Didn't fix it last winter coz it wasn't that big of a deal until I went on ski/boarding trips that I do often. I didn't want to go another season freezing in my car so took it to the shop and got it looked at. I know it wasn't an easy diagnosis or fix so I let the man do his work. A week later everything is working great at half the cost I was seeing online or at the dealership. I don't trust auto shops much; but feel comfortable with this one... I definitely Recommend
