Mr Andrew Anderson certainly knows what he's doing and takes pride in his work. He will tell you what you need to know about your car and his prices are fair. Been here twice already and will be going back soon for more work as my budget allows. You want a good and honest mechanic, you found him!!!

I was told over the phone that Andrew had explained everything needed for the service I wanted to "my wife". I asked a simple question right before leaving the house. He proceeded to explode in a slight rage about how he wasn't going to hash this out for another 30 mins with me after talking to "my wife" for 30 mins earlier in the week. Told me he wouldn't mind just cutting his losses now after wasting so much time with me already. "My wife" is actually my mom and I was just her ride.... Unfortunate Andrew was probably having a busy day. Also unfortunately I won't ever give that clown my money again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I went in fairly last minute to replace my headlights. The service was great, fast, and most importantly honest!! Andrew is the most honest mechanic I've encountered in ABQ. I highly recommend Mastertech for your car repair needs!

Andrew quoted me $100 to install my lock ring for my fuel pump. When I got there after he realized he would have to drop my tank, he jacked up the price to $250. He pulled a bait and switch. People think he is honest, but I did not find him to be very honest after he wasted my time and gas driving out there. I'm glad I left because he was not so honest after all. And he should of done research on my make and model before I arrived. A waste of time if you ask me.

Amazing customer service and super friendly people. They're very honest and have always done a great job. We take most of our company vehicles here- I wouldn't take my personal vehicle anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Excellent! Andrew was extremely helpful and friendly.We had trouble with our '06 VW Beetle. We took it here and Andrew identified a coolant leak and fixed it for less than quoted. There was also an issue with the transmission. Since VW has proprietary codes only a dealer can read, we had to take it into the dealership. Andrew strongly suspected we'd need to replace the transmission. The dealer confirmed this and quoted us more than we paid for the car to fix it. We called Andrew back up and he helped us find someone who would help us install a used transmission for a small fraction of that cost.We are so impressed with the service we have received, we plan to come back here for all our future auto repair needs. We could not recommend MasterTech more highly!

If you are looking for a honest mechanic...LOOK NO FURTHER. I have been going to Mastertech for over 10 years and would not take my cars anywhere else. They are the best and love their new location!

I called to get a quote on replacing a rear axle assembly on a Tacoma. When he called me back he told me he found a used one here in Albuquerque at Keystone for $2500. When I mentioned to him that I had already gotten the price for that one and it was only $1800. He told me that it was because he had to mark it up as the cost of doing business, plus charge me labor on to of that to install it. A 38.8% ($700) markup on a used part is a bad way of doing business.

This guy is fantastic. Get your vehicle serviced here. We were travelling, & needed an alternator, he found one, installed it and had us back on the road in about an hour. THE BEST MECHANIC EVER!!

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. The man got upset, raised his voice and then informed the tow truck driver not to unload our car after I had called the day before. I think he was frustrated at the car he was working on and took his frustration out on us. If you want bad service, misdirected anger, and a waste of your time, give Andrew a call. He will gladly screw up your day. 2 side notes: 1) the tow driver told us that this guy has a history of refusing cars after arrival on the tow truck and 2) this same guy worked on the underlying mechanical issue 2016 and it's still not fixed. Maybe he just didn't want to admit he can't fix it so he fabricated some faux anger to save face. Pitiful.

They were trustworthy and nice.They changed transmission oil of my Town and Country which dont have a dip stick.They can di many thingsCheck this place first before you go to dealership.

You'd be surprise how hard it is to find someone who works with wiring in Albuquerque. I'm just glad I brought my Z to these guys because, not only did they fix my wiring issues they got it done in just a couple of days. Not to mention it didn't kill my pocket.
