I found myself in downtown ABQ after 5pm with a flat. Made it to Mango Automotive. Thank goodness for Mike! He stayed after hours and aired up my tire so I could get home. These guys offer amazing service and go above and beyond to help. I highly recommend them!

Mango Automotive in downtown Albuquerque are amazing!! We were driving through Albuquerque on New Year s Eve when our car broke down. We were able to get in to see Mango on Jan 2nd and unfortunately our engine had failed. Mike and his team helped us look into options but when it was too expensive to repair helped us to dispose of the car even though we had to leave and live interstate. Even helped us to get payment for the car when wreckers weren t particularly helpful. Mike and his team were awesome at communicating and helped us when we needed it, we can t recommend enough! Thank you!!

I m so happy I found this place. I originally made an appointment at another mechanic and they cancelled on me day of. I called Mango Automotive hoping they could get me in last minute, I didn t think they could but to my surprise Mike was more than willing to help me out! They had my car fixed within the day and the woman at the front desk was lovely and so nice! Doing auto repairs can be such an anxiety ridden experience and the staff here really made my repair so easy. I ll definitely be returning!

This is my shop. I have decided where I am going to live, 3 times, in relation to where this shop is. Always wanted to keep it within walking distance. I was there before it was bought by Mango Automotive and I stayed because they kept on the staff I liked. Since it has been Mango Automotive, it has just gotten better. You are not going to fine a more trustworthy mechanic and I am suspicious of everyone, especially mechanics since I know nothing about cars. Thanks Mango!!!

Best customer service I ve received anywhere for anything. Accommodated my schedule, provided a detailed listing and explanation of service required, scheduled expected date for pick up and met that Schedule. Try best !!!!PLUS - they had washed and vacuumed inside and out. What an unexpected and fun thing to do for a customer. Almost wish I needed more done now.

Great honest company. Ive done business with them twice, and both times they did awesome. It is a little pricey but atleast i know the work is getting done. They shared photos throughout the work from start to finish. Thank you!

They were awesome! They listened to the specific issue I had and fixed that issue. They did find something else wrong and quoted me but did not try to pressure me or scare me into getting it done. I feel very comfortable taking my vehicle there and was pleased. Highly recommend

The staff and mechanics at Mango Automotive are excellent with the service done on my Chrysler 300c. Recently, I experienced the battery going bad (it was old) and was stranded up by Paseo del Norte. I had no idea it was the battery at the time and didn't know what to do. I instinctively called Kelby and she calmed me down explaining that because I'm a VIP Member (I suggest this service to everyone) that she would arrange a tow truck to pick it up. About 15 min later the tow truck was there. I did not have to pay for the service because of my membership. Once there at the shop on Central, Brian got car out of gear because it was in theft mode (everything locked up) so they could work on it. The next day Sal quickly diagnosed the problem and even ran a complete electrical test and tested the car thoroughly. The turnaround was so quick that I did not have to miss work the next day. Kudos to Mike as well for assisting on prior services as well. In short the work they have done on my used Chrysler 300c has made it a wonderful car to drive. I have full faith in their fixes and they are exceptional mechanics. Thanks Mango Automotive!

Had to get a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle. The process was fast and the employees were both knowledgeable and professional. They were able to get the car inspected for a fair price under $100 and in a timely manner. Definitely recommend Mango Automotive for pre-purchase inspection needs.

These guys did awesome work . The customer service from Mike and the mechanical work that Julio did left nothing to be desired even after I asked them to add minor adjustments to the car. Very happy with the work

I had just arrived in Albuquerque from Austin, Texas and my vehicle was making grinding noises from the engine bay. I brought it in to Mango after going through the reviews. They were able to find out that the noise was from my cars AC compressor clutch being seized and quickly fixed the problem. The people who helped me at the front desk were awesome and made the whole process smooth. I'd definitely come back to this shop anytime I'm in the area.

Brought our slightly neglected 08 jeep liberty in, they had a fast diagnosis. They worked with us on what repairs we could afford at that time to avoid mechanical failure. They explained all of the issues very simply. 10/10 will be taking the other cars to them in the future as well.Amazing staff as well.

All the personnel at Mango Automotive were very polite and friendly. They were interested in our input. They could have charged me for a part but didn't and were able to rectify the problem honestly and efficiently. They addressed all the problems I was having at a reasonable cost and the car is running like new !!! Thankyou Mango !!!

I ve been bringing my 2003 Subaru Outback to this shop since it was Downtown Tire & Auto. The change of ownership improved their communication and customer service. I appreciate that I can now text message with this business. Mike and Kelby at the front desk are great quick to respond, knowledgeable about cars, always helpful and plenty nice. The mechanics work has always been trustworthy. Giving 4/5 stars so that I can allow for continued improvements, whatever they might be!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto battery maintenance, Oil change

SCAMMINGzero stars , went in knowing the codes on my car and the problem so i tried to just get a sensor replaced , and then fromt desk said they needed their own diagnostic test and had charge 2 bills for information i already knew and then said the solution was a new engine. which none i was then quoted 12k for a engine replacement. which is completely just unbelievable and in the research is never a solution. they run a mechanic shop like door salesman

Had a great experience at Mango and would highly recommend them to anyone whose car is in need of maintenance or repair. Great service, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices. Also, they have a wonderful, spacious waiting area, complete with cold and hot drinks. Plus, they are located right downtown within easy walking distance to the public library, a used bookstore and other stores, art galleries, cafes and eating establishments. Five big stars from me!

I never do reviews, but this experience deserves some kudos. I needed my battery replaced and when I tell you this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a repair facility, I mean it. Coming from a former service advisor who spent 8 years in automotive, I wish more repair facilities were as efficient and friendly as Mango. Mike was awesome from the moment he picked up the phone when I was calling around for prices. He quoted me 100-200 dollars less than competitors *cough cough Pepboys*. When I told him I was pleased with that price, he ordered the battery so I could come during my lunch and have it replaced right away, without me having to ask. I got there at 12:06 and left at 12:40. If I could have recorded the entire interaction and send it to the dealerships I ve worked for, I absolutely would. Not only did Mike get me a price that was lower than my friends in the business, he was kind and helpful. Those are not teachable customer service skills. If I could rate 20 stars, I would.

I can't speak highly enough of Kellby and the gang at Mango. During my return from a cross-country trip, the front suspension on my truck disintegrated, and Mango has me up and running by the end of the with day. They absolutely saved my crew's bacon! Highly recommended, if you're in the Albuquerque area, this is the shop to visit

These guys are brilliant. If you're looking for an autoshop in ABQ, I'd definitely recommend Mango Automotive Downtown.Kellby was brilliant from start to finish getting our car booked in, advising on what we might want to get checked, through to letting me know when the work was complete.We have a Honda CRV which broke down a couple of days prior, and organised our car to be towed here. Within 24hrs of receiving the car, Mango Automotive had diagnosed the issue advised on what work we might want to have done, and had it completed and ready for us to pick it up again.Really pleased with the work and turned out to be cheaper than we were expecting which was great.Being new to ABQ we didn't have an autoshop we usually use here, but we'll definitely be back.Also big thanks to Chad for talking us through the other service options and giving some great recommendations on other things we want to look out for to keep the car running well.If you know nothing about cars and want somewhere with friendly customer service who are more than happy to talk you through your options and explain it properly, I'd highly recommend.Thanks again! We'll be back.

My fiance and I had two new tires and a rim replaced recently and we are very pleased by the customer service. Kellby was very patient with us on the phone while we coordinated everything since we needed to have the car towed there. We called other places and it seems like we saved at least $60-100 by getting our work done here. We are also very happy that they were able to do everything last minute and even got the car done that same afternoon! We are very happy we got everything done at Mango Auto and the car is running much smoother now. We will definitely be back again if we need anything else. So glad Mango automotive set up shop in my neighborhood. They were fast, efficient, and part came with a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty. The price was right and now it runs so nice. For an old car, it seems to have sprouted new life.Thank You!
