Highly recommend. Customer service and quality of work was exceptional. Price was reasonable. Several reviews stated that it took forever to get their vehicle back; however, I would take quality over a rapid return any day. Took about 3 weeks to get my car back, and half of that time was waiting for the insurance to approve necessary changes to the initial quote.

I can't say enough good things about Nyk, Anthony & the entire crew at Loid's. My insurance co directed me to Loid's for repairs and shortly after said they wouldnt pay for the coverage originally discussed. After being in a traumatic experience on the freeway before going out of town on a road trip (2 passenger tires down & rim damage plus front & passenger body damage), then having to fight for benefits I pay for, plus get a rental car, it was all mentally and financially exhausting. Nyk walked me through what was needed for my car, made recommendations regarding safety issues, advised me how to proceed, and helped clarify the damages to insurance for me to get the claim covered correctly. The crew at Loid's, from inspecting and storing my car, through repairs and the final buff, clean and detail by Anthony, went over and above any service I've ever received for any vehicle I've owned. When I would have accepted my car as complete (I didn't expect them to match 5yo paint perfectly) they self identified making it better and did it in the original timeframe promised. I would recommend Loid's for any service they offer, and will only take my vehicles there from now on. I wish they would take any thank you gift I offered, but all were refused and I was told "It's our job to provide this kind of service." You can't ask for better.

Don't ever use lloyds auto collision for your auto repair. Classic rip-off artists. They'll make you buy the part for your car and then they can't schedule you for months and months. If you do get on their schedule 5 months later they say that it's going to take weeks and weeks. I think they do it on purpose so you'll get discouraged and they don't have to do the work and then they can keep your money. I ordered a door to put on . A 5 hour job they told me would take 5 weeks. A week for every hour of labor .so if it takes 5 hours to put On a door they'll say It's a 5 week job. Then when you can't put your car in 5 weeks they won't return your money. First they'll tell you they returned the part and then they say they couldn't return the part because it was special order so they'll keep your money. Jerome in service is part of the scam.

Great quality work but very poor communication and coordination of repairs. We had to call several times to get updates and then repair was delayed due to our car parts not being ordered for over one month.

all communication during repair process was initiated by me. pearl white paint repair had 90% less pearl flake than the adjacent original paint. completely disappointing quality.

Loids is worth every star. Their customer service is excellent and their work is above expectations.Ally was able to fit me in two months early because of a family crisis. And the work was done in one week, not three or four. They worked with my insurance company directly so I didn't have that added headache.They have a customer for life!

As a result of an ex-wife who was a horrible driver, and now owning vehicles in Albuquerque where you can't have anything nice, I know my way around a body shop. I have NEVER experienced a place like Loid's. They are true artists and are by far the most professional shop I have ever set foot in. From the delightful Joyce at the front desk all the way to the owner, Chris, they take super good care of you from start to finish and make you feel like a VIP, no matter what you come in with. Their paint matching is on a whole other level too. Not only is the color perfect, but the amount of metal flake, shine, and even factory texture is absolutely flawless. I challenge anyone to tell the difference. It can't be done, it's that perfect. There's a reason all of the high end luxury dealerships in town ONLY trust Loid's.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very nice facility - pull inside for estimates. Incredibly clean and great staff that makes you feel at home (thanks Nyk). Pricing is similar to other shops, but they don't "nickel and dime" you for small stuff. As a courtesy they touched up some minor rock chips for me. Got my car back the next day and it looked great and it was incredibly CLEAN!!!! Had a small problem with the repaired and repainted rocker panel not fitting perfectly flush. It was adjusted to my "high standards" until I was completely satisfied. Hey, anyone can make a small mistake - taking care of it immediately and professionally while I waited is the pedigree of a company that really cares.

I had my bumper painted on my 1997 Jaguar XJ6L, and I called around to many shops that could install PPF to protect it from the New Mexico roads. I spoke to at least five shops, and although they said they might be able to do it, they stated that since the car was old, there were no templates for it. If they did do it, it would cost an extra $300. I then contacted Loid's, explained the situation, and told them what the other providers were charging me since it had to be hand-cut. They said they did not care and would only charge me the $400 as if they had a template. I was skeptical. However, I brought the car over they looked at it and said no problem. I was so happy that I had them do extra PPF installation. They were very courteous and prompt, and I am very happy with their work and will be back again to see them for any work I need to do!

These guys are amazing! Went to have some work done and they did outstanding work! Paint looks better than factory, fit and finish was superb, customer service was top notch! Now I know why they're the only BMW authorized body shop in NM. The owner is a great guy, Jerome was great at giving me a detailed estimate, updates while they had it and a well done walk around of everything the team had done once it was finished. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone wanting their car to be treated right! Hopefully I won't need them anytime soon but it's nice to know their my go too from here on out!

Loid's is a white-glove, 5-star service, family owned body shop. My husband and I have had both our vehicles, a Mini Cooper and a Mazda Tribute, to Loid's twice each over the last several years. They are always friendly and willing to deal with the insurance companies so we don't have to. Every time we receive our vehicle back after the work was completed, it looks like it just came off the showroom floor, including detailing the interior. The only effort we have to make as the customer is arrange to drop off the vehicle and pick it up when it is ready. Loid's handles everything else. We will never use another body shop! Highly recommend!

Was recommended by several Audi ships in town to get an estimate.Setting up an appointment was easy over the phone. Lots of availability.When I arrived, they quickly saw to me and directed me to pull into the estimate garage. The estimate was done and reviewed with me. Maybe 10-15m altogether. Overall I was in and out much faster than I was expecting which was pleasant. Great CX.All staff were wearing masks.Nice location. Very clean and more modern feeling which inspired trust and confidence.No work done yet, just got an estimate.

Since the pandemic, parts took definitely longer time to get in and the service got really slow. However, the quality of the work is just really great. I was very frustrated while I am waiting for the car since it took almost 2 months, but the work they have done was just amazing. I have used Chris's facility for approximately 30 years. That includes depending on Chris before he opened his own shop. I was in the automobile business for over 50 years won't go anywhere else and recommend them to anyone that needs a body shop. Nyk was stellar at handling my latest repair. Jerome is equally expert at his job and everyone that works there is pleasant, friendly and professional. 6 stars. I was referred to Loid s by Albuquerque s Lincoln dealer. I called around highly rated repair shops and was impressed when I spoke with Nyk, at Loid s, I was sold. If you are as picky as I am about your car looking back to 100% after a repair, this is the place to go. Nyk went above and beyond to make sure we as customers were 110% satisfied with every bit of the process. I usually don t take the time to write reviews, but if MANAGEMENT is reading this please know that Nyk is one of the best I ve dealt with and took excellent care of us. Our car was back to looking better than new, and I commend the Loid s Collison Center. Wouldn t trust any other place with a luxury vehicle.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Got sideswiped in my BMW X5. The repair was perfect and the attention to detail was excellent. My rep, Nyk, was on top of my job the whole time and worked out all the details to do the repair correctly and to a high standard with the person who hit me's insurance. It's nice to know that there is still a company around that does quality work and excellent customer service. 10 out of 10 for a job well done.Thank youService: Body & Trim

I was referred here by Sandia BMW when I managed to put a big ding in the side of my car. They said they referred all their body work out to Loid's. I was so impressed with the service there. They were so polite and quick when I dropped the car off and when it was ready they not only called the rental car company to coordinate my rental drop-off but also stayed open late just so I could pick up my fixed car on Friday before they closed for the weekend. The car looks brand-new, not a scratch in sight. I noticed they also did an amazing cleaning and detailing, just as part of the repairs. White glove treatment. I would absolutely go here again.

I couldn't leave a new review. So I will add to my previous one! I now have a 2015 BMW and again, unfortunately, my car was hit and run. Loid's is outstanding. I will not take my car to any other body shop. Everything I said below still stands. I love the detailing they do on my car. The body technicians do an outstanding job. Thank you, again! 7/20/20Wow. What a difference in body shops. EXCELLENT work. EXCELLENT estimators. EXCELLENT receptionist. They even detailed the inside of my car! Wow. Just WOW. My 2012 BMW looks sparkling. Great paint job, spotless body work.My BMW mechanic in Santa Fe recommended Loids. And I went with his recommendation.Keep doing with you're doing. In a town where customer service barely exists, Loid s is a shining star! What a pleasant experience! I don t even know where to start. What is usually a stressful situation was completely turned around into the easiest thing ever. And my vehicle looks better than ever! Fast, responsive, professional, super-nice people, beautiful facility, you couldn t ask for better. Especially Nyk, who went above and beyond. I don t have a fancy car and I was worried about that, but he never once made me feel that my vehicle wasn t just as important as the high-end luxury cars they work on. Would not recommend. I had a scratch on my right front fender that needed to be buffed/wetsanded out. They did not do a great job and left the hood of my car covered in the shavings/dust from their work. I can understand if the scratch was too deep but to leave a very nice collector car or any car with the mess from your work is pretty unprofessional. The service advisor assisting me was also extremely rude and inpersonal; while trying to nickle and dime me for other services.

Brought my Jeep Gladiator in for a minor accident they were able to get it done professionally and I felt confident bringing it in. I bought aftermarket tail lights they were able to install for me. Truck was detailed. Nyk knew his stuff. Estimate was close to finally cost. Would use again.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Absolutely AMAZING! My BMW got backed into. It just needed a quarter panel replacement. The car had spent a year (yes, 12 months) at another body shop here in town. The other shop had installed the part crooked and make a humongous mess of it. Needless to say, I was extremely frustrated. We finally got my car back with approval from the other body shop's insurance to have the entire job re-done by another shop. I brought my car to Loid's and explained the situation. Chris proplptly gave me an estimate, ordered the parts and got my BMW back to the way it was when it left Germany. Chris and the Loids had ZERO hesitation of taking on my obscure situation. The end result... Flawless. I brought this car from Texas just to get it fixed and I am thrilled that I chose Loids. Excellent job indeed.
