L&S has been our shop for over 5 years. It s always great to find businesses who love what they do, are great at it, and truly care about their customers. They are all about keeping you safe on the road, and taking care of your vehicle with thorough maintenance and inspections, and any needed repairs. They are straightforward and take the time to explain your situation and the options with honesty, and they want to save you money! From the first call to see if L & S could diagnose my car, I felt a sense of comfort. That has been a rarity in my experience at some auto repair businesses. Skylar and Luke each let me know what they found in a clear, up front way. They had it handled the same day. My partner went with me to pick it up and soon found himself scheduling an appointment to have his vehicle diagnosed, after Skylar spent some time troubleshooting with him at no charge! I ve already shared my great experience with family who are I need of kind, honest mechanics!

I ve been going here for years and I don t trust any mechanic the way I trust Luke. I have sent multiple friends and family members to him. I ve even gone to him for advice on purchasing a new vehicle. Not only will he answer any question you have, he is willing to connect you with other reliable people for anything you need outside of his services. I m so glad he is still in business so I can continue to count on him to care for my vehicle and my family members vehicles as well.

Came to town with high expectations for a trusted mechanic, and found this place when it was still C&S .The current owner, Luke and the staff have a vast knowledge of cars and always find a way to diagnose and explain issues in simple terms, with a fix that gets at the root cause. All at a fair and transparent price.If you really need work done, recommend booking appointments at least a week in advance, although they re good at accommodating walk-ins for minor issues.

I've been coming here since it was "C&S," and even though the ownership has changed, the service remains excellent: Luke is a car whisperer, and knows his way around most every issue we've ever had with our vehicles. He also keeps an eye out for pending issues on your vehicle, and communicates his thinking very clearly to customers. I won't go to another mechanic in town because this shop is so reliable, responsive, and capable.

My car has been in the shop for 4 months. They refused to even start working on it until we had made significant payments, and when they did diagnose the issue, they requested payment for the parts.

Luke and his team were amazing! Great customer service, great communication, and when I picked up my vehicle, I was charged less than the initial estimate What other mechanic does that?Definitely sending all of my vehicles to L & S from here on out.

I have been going to see Luke for years. He has always been super professional and very efficient. I was searching in Google maps for a good mechanic and I found C & S Autorepair.Every bit of the reviews were true and I called Luke he's very informative told me what he could do and I set up a time to have him take look at mine and my husband's cars. We were getting ready to move out of state. To my recollection I cannot remember everything that he repaired but he did quite a bit of work on both of our vehicles.Both cars were in great shape the price was not very expensive and had no issues with any of the repairs he made.Came back almost a year later needed some additional work on my catalytic converters. He replaced all three catalytic converters stayed late at work to get them all done because I was pressed to go out of town the next day.All three times that I have visited Luke has gone above and beyond what any mechanic shop I've ever had do. They really treat you like family and take good care of you in your car.

Unintentionally found this place by accident. However it s hard to find an honest, reliable mechanic around town. From my AC, to vapor canister and simply an oil change I don t take my car anywhere else. If you need a great mechanic that will work with you and not give you the run around.. go talk to Luke. 10/10 would recommend.

After going to a different shop to fix my car's AC, they messed it up. I found C & S Auto and spoke to Luke, he added freon and dye to find two leaks in the system, did a diagnosis for a small price and then set me up for an appointment for the next day. This shop did excellent work, accurate and for a very good price. AC works excellent. This shop will treat you right, they know what they're doing, and they will not rip you off. I'd recommend them without hesitation! Honest.Service: Air conditioning

Had some suspension parts replaced due to age. I had no noise before. Now the front end is clunking and popping like CRAZY. I took my vehicle to another shop due to the popping and they were able to get it right. Also, tie rod boot came loose due to zip ties being used.All this being said, they stayed past closing time to finish the work. They also drove the vehicle to my house because I was unable to pick it up due to not having someone to drop me off. The people here are super friendly. You may have a great experience with them, but I'm on the fence.

I Try fix my van A/C many times most of them asked for 300 and 400This guy fixed in 10 minutes he is smart and very friendly. I advice this shop for any one they are honest people

I had some fluid dripping from my front differential that was making a mess of the underneath of my truck. I googled best auto mechanics in ABQ and C & S Quality popped up. I looked at the reviews and thought I d give them a try. Luke was very professional and extremely detailed figuring out what happened. Apparently the bolt/seal to my differential had been damaged. Not only did Luke replace it with a new one but he steam washed everything underneath and my engine compartment. Even cleaned the underside of my hood!! All of this for a very reasonable price. Luke called throughout the diagnostic process to let me know what he found and the associated costs. Could not be more pleased with the service I got at C & S Quality Automotive. I was looking for a trusted auto mechanic to do repairs on my 2006 PT Cruiser. The check engine light was coming on. I looked on the internet at reviews of auto mechanics in Albuquerque. I read C&S Quality's reviews. I decided to go there. When the diagnostic was completed on my car, the mechanic told me that the cam shaft sensor needed to be replaced. He researched the part online to find the best deal and best quality part under warranty for me. He had my car ready by 12 noon. I was very grateful. I did not have an appointment for my car to be repaired. It is recommended to have one. He repaired my car. The check engine light no longer comes on. I was afraid something terrible had happened to my engine. That the repair would be costly. It was done at a reasonable price. This mechanic is very professional and honest. I will return to his auto shop in the future. I highly recommend this place for auto repairs!!! Thank you, Steve!!! You are an awesome mechanic!!!

This is a family owned auto mechanic business. I spent awhile talking with the wife of the mechanic (Steve), who works as the receptionist and helps out as needed. They are honest, hard working, wonderful people who care deeply about providing honest, high quality auto services. They start by providing you with an honest estimate, and if they think they may have to go above that, they only do so after they discuss it with you and explain why. If they can provide you with a less expensive service, they will also do that. They are excellent communicators and you WILL NOT be overcharged.For example, I went to them needing my windshield wiper fluid pump replaced, or so I thought. They quoted me $40 for labor as I had the part; a store down the street had previously quoted me $100. They took a look at it and realized that the pump only needed to be cleaned out, and ended up charging me even less (I don't recall the final cost but it was cheap.) In short, wonderful people who do excellent work. Give them your business; they deserve it.

Luke at C&S is the real deal. I brought my daughters car here for some brake work and he went above and beyond to take care of the situation. He even showed us all that was wrong and asked if I wanted him to fix it. He was reasonable and very professional. I will take our other cars to him and will definitely recommend him. Thanks Luke

AC went out and we did our research and landed at C&S. Honest, informative, and work that speaks for itself. Nobody likes to have to put their car in the shop but these guys made it as quick and painless as possible. I tried to turn on my truck but the key wouldn't turn. I had the vehicle towed to a repair shop but they weren't able to repair it despite having the vehicle for nine days.I had the vehicle towed to C&S and Luke had the repairs done in just a few hours at a reasonable cost.I know who will have my business in the future!

Terrible shop I would not recommend this shop at all theyll just rip off your money I paid $750 and my truck still has the same exact problem that I took it in there for. (Which is also stated on the receipt). I'll be sure that I report this to the Better Business Bureau as well and I'll also make sure that I tell everybody I encounter. Only a full refund would be acceptable

Steve, his wife and staff are excellent!! They have worked on my vehicle a couple times over the past couple years and every time I get my car back I am extremely satisfied. They go above and beyond to provide the best automotive/mechanic service in Abq. Steve is a very knowledgeable and experienced mechanic, and the people he works with are also great. Steve will walk you through everything he does and explain it so you understand exactly what is wrong with your vehicle. He will also save you money when it is possible. They are very fair and can offer cost effective options for your repairs. This is the best mechanic I have ever used! The shop is also very conveniently located in the UNM area. I will continue using C & S for every vehicle I own!!

Luke is incredibly honest. I took my car to this shop requesting repairs that would cost about $500. Luke called me back and told me that he had found the problem and that it was only going to cost a little under $300. He only did the work that I needed and only charged me for the work that I needed. Super honest. Great mechanic.
