Jay Walton Automotive is the best, most friendliest, auto repair shop in Albuquerque! I had a terrible accident with a hit and run vehicle. The worst part was my particular car was my dream car... Seriously, It took me 5 years to finally get it so thinking about the repair process was honestly scary and discouraging... And oh how wrong I was! Pat and his crew are the real deal! They updated me through the whole process, their work is warrantied, they informed me anytime I had questions, fixed any issues I had concerns with... they even blended the paint a bit better where my eye kept going to... not only did I get a 100% fixed like-new vehicle, but it drives even better then before my accident! I'm in a car club and I go to many car shows so they have no idea how thankful I am. I'm going to write as many reviews on as many platforms as I can because they really are awesome! There's a reason thier reviews are so good! Thank you guys for making the experience so professional and perfect! These guys deserve a raise!! (Still have to put my decals on but pictures show before and after)

I still appreciate Jay Walton. They took on a task that no other body shots in Albuquerque would do they did it professionally and efficiently and the price was fantastic. I would recommend j Walton's and their awesome staff to anybody who needed any kind of car repairs. I have a vintage Cadillac. And nobody would touch it except j. Walton's, thank you.

This place was amazing! My car had got broken into and they fixed everything within a week! They were communicative, transparent and their customer service was amazing. I highly recommend going here for any car repairs!

Not only does my car look like new on the outside but they cleaned the inside of my car also, it smells like new. I can whole heartedly recommend J Walton Auto, you cannot go wrong with them!!!

I did not deal directly with the shop but one time. They were friendly and willing to help when I showed up unannounced to clean out my car. The only reason for 4 stars is I was never given a call after they assessed the damage to my car to give me the reason it was considered a total loss. Which I understand some body shops choose to deal with insurance only.

Great first time experience with Jay Walton Automotive located in Albuquerque on Central between Eubank and Wyoming. Made an appointment, showed up and they started working on my vehicle right away, and were ahead of schedule getting the work completed. I waited in the reception area while the work was being done, and I was very impressed at the professionalism of the staff greeting customers and answering their questions. Everyone who went in was extremely happy with the services they received. I was also impressed at how clean the building was! I will use them again, and highly recommend to anyone needing automotive work done.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Our regular mechanic was not able to address some of the mechanical and bodywork issues related to an accident we experienced and they referred us to Jay Walton Automotive. We were greeted by one of the associates (Adrian) when inquiring over the phone. Everyone knows this process can be quite challenging and although we experienced some setbacks due to parts not being available or being delayed, Adrian was very helpful, professional, personable and understanding. When delays occurred he was apologetic and empathetic. All work that was done was actually mechanical in nature and they did a great job getting our car back up and running.

Friendly service and professional results! Katelyn stayed on top of my claim to get me scheduled immediately after approval. She was very communicative and responsive. The repairs were very well done and I only gave up my car for two weeks. Highly recommend (:

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Jay Walton Automotive! We were just travelling through Albuquerque when we were unfortunately involved in an accident. We had to leave our car in Albuquerque, while we continued our travels to Colorado, and then back home to Arizona. As you can imagine, leaving your car in an unfamiliar city and hoping for the best was stressful. However, every one at Jay Walton were extremely courteous and professional, from our first encounter with Katelyn, to the time we picked up our car with Caleb. During the 4 week time period, we were kept up to date by on the status of the estimate, the insurance claim, the ordering of parts, the schedule for the repairs and painting - and felt very confident that we were in the best of hands. The repairs were done beautifully, and we felt like we drove off with a car that had never even been involved in an accident. Thank you Katelyn, and everyone at Jay Walton!! You turned an unfortunate mishap into a stress free experience!

I would like to acknowledge Adrian and JAY WALTON AUTOMOTIVE for an outstanding dedication to customer service... it's nice to know Adrian and JAY WALTON AUTOMOTIVE that they stand by their unquestionable devotion to quality, professional and courteous from the estimate to the completion of repairs. Thank you for doing an outstanding and excellent job on my Cruze, but also for taking care of all the details, I am completely satisfied and will recommend JAY WALTON AUTOMOTIVE and of course ADRIAN to others without reservation. Again thank you for the repairs on my Cruze, job well done.

Had a collision oct 2022 since I have an older vehicle Quanz recommended totaling it or coming here. They couldn t get me an appointment til Feb 2023 but definitely made up for it. got it done in a week and my trucks new and shiny again I can t thank y all enough for the honesty and taking care of my vehicle as if it was their own. Keep up the amazing work!

They did the sunroof replacement very well, when they said they would with no hassles. It was easy, they did a good job, and they washed my car before returning it to me. A+

I'm very disappointed, they had my car for 2 weeks and didn't do anything at all, I needed it back for a bit during the holidays and I got it exactly like it was when I dropped it off 2 weeks earlier and absolutely nothing was fixed at all then I had to take it back and it took an additional 5 more days. I asked them twice to please remove something on the windshield and I got it back and it was still on the windshield, and they informed me that 1 part they ordered was the wrong part so I'm going to need to take it back in again for the 3rd time. Once they finish it completely I will NEVER go back there, EVER!! I highly recommend you go somewhere else not there!

Excellent work, extremely communicative, & very high quality work. I would & have recommended Jay Walton. Only confusion is when you take car in they will ask is car for collision or repair? I m assuming this is auto mechanic lingo, but confusing for the common folk because it sounds the same. They graciously explained the difference though. Collision means cars being brought in specifically for repair under insurance in an accident. Repair means self pay for standard maintenance or repairs for anyone that gets confused with this question.

Because my car was under a year old, many parts were not available in a timely manner. That was the only problem but definitely not Waltons fault. They worked my car through as soon as the could and delivered a "brand new car" back to me.

This seemed to be the only place in town that my insurance could find to fix my moonroof after something hit it on the freeway and shattered it. I did appreciate that they were able to wrap my moonroof so that I could still drive it while we waited for the part to come in. They did a great job fixing my moonroof that I can tell right now. It's only been a day. While they had my car, I asked them if they did oil changes and they said they did. I asked if they'd give me an oil change while they had my car since it was due for an oil change. They did the oil change and upon pick up, we're going to bill me $140 for an oil change!!!!I said something about it and they said it was incorrect and changed the bill off the oil change. They still ended up billing me $113!!! I've never paid that much for an oil change before. Ridiculous! It's not like they did anything unusual except change my cabin air filter. I totally recommend getting g your oil changed elsewhere. I know I won't be going to this place. I really like my regular place, Leonard's Tire on Lomas! Honest! Great prices and they treat you like family there! Do NOT come to Jay Walton for oil changes or anything basic like that. Unless you want to get ripped off.

I went to Jay Walton to have my wife's car fixed after a low-speed accident. We'd used their services before and they've always done a great job. I started by getting a quote from them that seemed quite high at the time, so I shopped around a little. Turns out it was a very reasonable quote, and everything in cars just costs a small fortune now. C'est la vie in 2023, I guess.What set Jay Walton apart is that they do a very, very good job with their restoration work. I've had other cars fixed at other shops around town and can tell you from personal experience that most shops don't put the time and care into their work that Jay Walton does. I had a car repaired at another (shall remain nameless) shop in town that ran bolts through the replacement bumper to hold it to the frame. Was the most outrageous, shoddy-looking repair job I've ever seen. Not at Jay Walton. Everything from the parts to the paint match was perfect. I would never know from looking at the car that it was in an accident.That's just one of the perks of Jay Walton. They're also very, very personable there -- they don't try to rush you in and out, and they're more than happy to answer questions you have about the quotes and the repair the process.So if you're shopping around, do yourself a favor and give Jay Walton a call. You'll probably save yourself a lot of headache and frustration by starting with them, since they'll fix it right the first time.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Body & Trim

Ive taken my F350 in 2X to be worked on due to attempted theft and the team at Jay Walton has always been very professional and timely with their excellent service. They Made the pain of having to get it repaired more bearable.

These folks are fantastic; they obviously take pride in their customer service - they take the time to work with you on your vehicle issues, unlike at many large dealerships where it can feel a bit rushed because you are just one of a million customers they see every day (and these guys are WAY more reasonable with their pricing!!)

Was referred to this shop by Allstate Insurance Company and super glad I chose this place staff is super friendly and helpful and is a very nice shop got my vehicle repaired perfectly and they kept me informed about the repair process and everything that was being done very professional and very knowledgeable and do exceptional work would recommend this shop to anyone kinda nice to have a mechanical and body shop in one placeService: Auto body & trim repair

They are honest, knowledgeable and very decent people. You can trust them with your vehicle's. I have a high performance car they helped me with. Their bodyshop is great also. My show car was painted there . No job is too big or too small for them. They are awesome!!!!

I recently moved here, and after a long trip noticed a leak under my SUV. I called Jay Walton based on a referral, and their excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Delilah answered politely, and professionally and directed me to service. Brian told me to bring it in right away.When dropping off my vehicle, I found the lobby, and property in general very clean, very organized, and the staff all professional, friendly, and upfront. The cars were kept safely in a well gated and locked lot. Adrian was my contact, and was super communicative, professional, and kept me well informed about what was found by the mechanic, and when it would be done.My car was done on schedule, and under estimate. I am so grateful to the entire staff for doing such a great job. I had breaks replaced, an alignment, bearings, O2 sensor replacements, a washer fluid pump replaced, etc. So, the work was extensive, but definitely needed to be done.My brother is a service manager, and a certified mechanic, and my father was always in the garage himself. I've been around garages, and this was an atypical experience of the best kind. Thank you to the staff at Jay Walton... I know where to go now when my car needs service.
