They are very nice people who work hard and have to put up with Kevin's and Karen's all day. Normally people who get towed realize that they were either parked where they no that they should not have been or figured out that they are not allowed to park where they did. They are in and out of the yard in under 15 minutes but then you have these Karen's and Kevin's who will not admit that they were parked in the wrong place and try to throw blame on GREG'S TOWING for taking their vehicle unlawfully ( even though they are shown pictures of their vehicles in violation of property and city laws and regulations, but still not willing to admit fault.) They treat the employee's of Greg's TOWING poorly even though they are called by either parking enforcement or property managers to remove their vehicle for violating property or city laws or regulations.Basically it comes down to this rule!! If the driver of the vehicle that was towed didn't violate property or city laws or regulations, they would not have to come to Greg's TOWING ever!! Right or Wrong?Let's see how many Karen's and Kevin's will comment on how everything is our fault instead of admitting the truth???

This business is completely shady and needs to be shut down. I will be contacting the city and better business bureau. Basically they make up parking rules about where you can park near businesses ( not actually knowing of you are in that business!) and steal your car by towing it to a scary lot on the SE part of town and then charge you a ridiculous amount of money ( Extortion!) to get you car that they stole, back. There s one thing if the city has parking rules and impounds a car, or private property, it s another for a random company to hover where people park and say that you can t park somewhere which was UNMARKED! The following photo is where my car was parked! No sign indicating otherwise and they stole/towed it 15 mins after I parked!!!! They better be thankful we did not have a health emergency or their butts would have been sued immediately. Additionally, when I called to find out where my car was, the guy belittled me on the phone. A total racket taking advantage of good, hard working, people who earn their money legitimately.

This place is a total rip off! Should be shut down! They towed my daughter's vehicle in a matter of 2 minutes while we entered McDonalds on Central and University. I am handicap and have a handicap placard that somehow fell off and they immediately put a boot on it and the tow truck was there ready to tow her vehicle. They didn't even wait for me to come out to verify that I was there! I will be reporting them to the State Auditors Office and Better Business Buereu! Shut them down!!!

Parked on lead near university for a few minutes at my uncle place and walked back out, they towed vehical and paid 215.00 she said state is charging that much now. The amount is totally ridiculous and state is doing this to low income family and covid is still around. No sympathy what so ever for people. I am complaining next to state of new Mexico for doing this to everyone, after I picked up car, this van is being towed by the same company.

Terrible towing company very unprofessional. They have awful at communication with each other one person gave me and extension on my car before it gets towed and they kept tagging my car and I called and they fall back on there word as in giving me a extension. And towed my car that very night. After my apartment complex also gave me a extension also. Called them they were extremely rude about things and don t like talking to people put me on hold for 30min plus. They just want there money which is needed in that lot because it is a rust trap. There lot isn t the brightest either went to pick up the car and it was squeezed in between two cars and couldn t even access the driver door. They also have been involved in helping drunk drivers they have showed up to scenes and towed the vehicle before a cop can attend to the situation properly. I have all this on record and also know the person they attended too during that situation. There employees are the biggest issue they are mean and very unprofessional, the mid age Latino very rude and unprofessional very Vulgar and has a horrible attitude with his customers. At the end of the day I paid $200 out of pocket to get my vehicle back that they said I can have a extension for.So they re horrible customer service terrible communication skills and most importantly do not treat anyone like they re human it s there way or no way.Service: Car towing

this company is very sketchy and unprofessional. they towed my car 10 mins after i got out my car. i was just coming to pick up my girlfriend and i let them know that and they didn t care. they weren t nice about it either. i followed them in my girlfriends car and they drove around not even towing anyone s else s car, just mine. they lied to my dad about my complex requesting a tow to my car but when i asked about it they said they never said that. they had to even ask to get my belongings out of my car.

Towed my car from McDonald's parking lot next to my work, I manage the zone smoke shop next door, the man on the phone Was extremely rude told me that it's not his problem I explained that I worked right next to the McDonald's I've been parking there for 3 days cuz there's been no parking he said he didn't care it's not his problem, they charged me 250$ and only had my car for 3 hours! He charged me more because my car is all wheel drive and a bunch of other non sense charges just to get there little come up.Upon arriving to the business it looked to be in shambles disgusting trailer park trash I don't know how this business is running how it is it needs to be shut downService: Car towing

They worked with me on the fact that I never should have been towed. It was the city s fault or whoever organized the event at Old Town Plaza.Getting my car out no charge was a big help. I am grateful.

This place is run by complete jerks. They will tow your vehicle on a Sunday, and hold it for ransom until Monday. They towed my friends car from an unmarked spot near a business in nob hill, towed it to a SUPER sketchy part of Albuquerque that I wouldn't go to unarmed, then charged him $220 to get it back. While I was out front waiting the bully tow truck driver literally pulled his tow truck directly behind my small car and began reving his motor repeatedly in a menacing way, pulled next to my vehicle several times staring at me then backing up and parking behind me once again. I was blown away by the completely unprofessional way that this bully treats people. He should not be allowed to operate a pez dispenser let alone a 2 ton vehicle capable of causing serious damage. The NMPRC needs to look into their business practices because this borders on extortion. I honestly question whether or not they are operating within the legal parameters. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with these scoundrels beware.

There is something possibly illegal and super shady going on here. They towed my car 20 mins after I parked on a Friday at 5pm and I had to pick it up the next morning. Charged me $290! This is a mindblowing cost and beyond the standard comsumer limit. I suggest ALL of you people with a similar experience make a complaint at New Mexico Public Regulation Commission. Side note: the night dispatch was extremely unprofessional and verbaly berated me for calling from an out of state number. People like to say that no one likes Tow companies, but look up other businesses on Google. Plenty have good reviews. Not Greg's Towing.

horrible service to the community. practically had my car stolen and charged over $200 just for being parked on a neighborhood street where other cars went untouched. the only reason they re still in business is because they steal cars at night!

Stress free auto theft from 4 hills studio apartments by Greg's towing via 4 hills security and a $50 cash bonus for each vehicle towed with no just cause. Simply put, an auto scam run by two established businesses to extort money and kickbacks to all involved.

I mean, how do you give a towing yard a 5 star review? They are predators with apartment building contracts. That's how they do business. All things considered, though, they are a good enough bunch. If they are approached with a smile and some decency, they return the approach in kind. If they run across mean spirited folks in general .... No doubt they see the rougher side of people's moods more often than not.

Gregs Towing was contacted by my apartment complex and without prior notices being provided, to established regulations or requirements expected. Needless to say after calling the office Greg called me personally and informed me that he is not trying to make enemies with any renters and is willing to work out an agreement per situation as seen fit. He allowed me 30 days to move my vehicle, this was substantial amount of time given to remove my vehicle! This is a quality upstanding business man and I am sure gets plenty of negative reviews or deals with upset customers daily! However, communication is key, so don t hesitate to call him! Thank you so much Gregg!

This company has been so unprofessional and blatantly neglectful. Upon picking up my car I noticed that the driver damaged the back end of my bumper. Upon payment I showed the clerk the damage and they were completely unhelpful. They neglected to give me my receipt and when calling them later that day to request it they said they would email it to me. I still have yet receive any email or to hear from any level of management on how they plan to reconcile the damage they caused to my vehicle.Service: Car towing

I was towed from my apartment complex yesterday for a reason that I have seen numerous car s have the exact same thing but they weren t towed. Plus, I am highly handicapped on top of it. It s not easy for me to get around. In addition, they said the APD ordered it, but I called them this morning and they don t patrol in private property. I feel lied to and taken advantage of. Also, no receipt for being towed. I had to wait for them to open to even find out what I owe. Plus CASH only which seems very fishy. Tax fraud?UPDATEI just saw a new sticker on my car saying I haven t moved it, so they are saying it s inoperable. I had to refrain from laughing at him. When I brought it up- he immediately brought up my review. He s just harassing me because I spoke the truth. If it s inoperable- how did he reverse it to me at the tow yard not even a week ago?!

Our car got called in for being towed by parking enforcement at the apartment complex incorrectly. These guys were professional, apologized even though they were just doing their job. They had no way of knowing we were waiting on the sticker in the mail because we had renewed the registration online. They were quick in returning our car, no damage, no hassle, just the information verification. One person was a bit rude but I guess based on seeing the reviews other have left, people coming in here are pretty horrible to them.

When I ran outside they barely were pulling my vehicle onto the truck. I pleaded with them and they were completely rude and ignored me when I told them my purse, wallet and medication was in my car. The towing place was on the complete opposite side of town. When I got there they charged me over $200 for the tow and the 2 days it was in their lot, even though it was less than 12 hours! These guys are terrible and should not be in business.

I've had multiple dealings with these guys in the past & none of them had ever been pleasant until now. Granted, who's going to be happy about reviewing a place that took their car? Understandable! However, there's a certain level of professionalism that their employees should be expected to have and it's non-existant there!I'll be getting my sister's car out of there later today and will update my post based on how that goes. The above is based solely on the phone conversations thus far.(AFTER GETTING THE CAR OUT:)Wow! That went surprisingly well! I changed the rating from 1 star to 4! Greg was EXTREMELY PLEASANT to work with and even gave us a discounted rate (or at least he didn't charge for the extra day in there nor the extra weekend fee they normally charge)! That was nice of him!

This place towed my nieces car from her apartment even though her permit was still valid. She thought her car was stolen because when the police officer called them they said they had not been to that apartment complex. They did not report to the police. The only way we found out it was there was by receiving a lien in the mail. We did get the car back for free, thanks to the manager of the apartments. The staff there was rude and no help at all. In my opinion, they should have been prosecuted for stealing the car.

Wish I could give zero stars My vehicle was registered and shows registered online, didn't have new tags on it. Car was booted, and hooked up to rig. Stated vehicle registration was not active.Called dispatch, dispatch refused to help me. My vehicle should have never been booted or hitched up to be towed, car is registered. Disbatch was rude, and wouldn't give their name or supervisor name. A tall heavy set man stated he was the owner and that if I have him $100 cash he would release the vehicle. The men operating the whole situation cursed, yelled, had a snotty time while I asked questions due to not knowing how the whole opporation works.Poor service, invalid reason for towing and fraud for no receipt.

I've recently become victim of Greg's Towing ruthless and cutthroat way of doing business. Because there is a shortage of free parking at my apartment, I purchased a permit for covered parking in my complex. The complex had double-sold my assigned space two different times, and when I felt I has a right to park elsewhere, (my mistake) Greg's Towing was contacted and my vehicle was hauled off in the middle of the night or early morning. No courtesy call, and no common sense to see I had a permit hanging visibly. When I discovered my predicament and called, the tow driver I spoke to (Matt), was rude and condescending towards me. (Bonus! He also gave me a lecture about parking in unassigned spaces, but he had ZERO consideration for how my apartment complex had messed up.)I cant say anything bad about the office lady at the tow yard. She was helpful and pleasant. She waived the extra $25 dollar "after hours pickup fee". (A pittance though, when I had to shell out $226.) They're prices are outrageous, but that's why unethical, heartless people can sleep at night after they get into a business such as this. All about the money.Still, I'm left to wonder if the complex and the tow company have some kind of business agreement to help each other out. Additionally, only 3 days later my engine blew. Coincidence, or damage done by the tow? I will likely never know. The tow company protects itself from those claims with their "fine print".

sketchy company DO NOT work with them. My girlfriend had her car towed wrongfully from a parking spot that we pay for in our complex and personal items were taken from inside of her car when no one should have ever been INSIDE of her car to begin with. We called the company to sort it out and the SUPERVISOR refused to listen instead putting the blame on her for noticing a day later and not immediately after she picked up the car even though she had important stuff to take care of afterwards. (oh I didn t know we had to check I thought stuff not being taken from people being trusted with your vehicle was just a given. My mistake.) The so called supervisor decided he was done with the conversation and continuously hung up on us after bragging about how well the employees there get paid and so therefore they have no reason to steal anything. The woman working the desk was even hesitant to give her a receipt the day she picked up her car.

This place is a whole scam, and I'm pretty sure connected to the self appointed "parking police" who tow your car in the middle of the night scammers as well. I've been waiting and waiting on my unemployment to kick in due to losing my job because of covid. I didn't have plates on my new car due to lack of funds. I spoke with the "pp" about it to avoid getting towed. Well, didn't do any good because while I was visiting family for holiday, my car was towed. I had no idea until I get home to find it gone. They told me since they had not heard from me it was towed. Each number I call to find out how to get my car back I'm given a different number to call (hmmm) find out they are closed on weekends, how convenient so they can charge you an extra day. I call Monday and am told to call yet another number. I finally get a hold of quite possibly the rudest most unprofessional women I've ever encountered. They take CASH ONLY to get your car out (hmmm) this whole scam scheme needs to be investigated asap.
