My mom takes her vehicle here and she always has great service so I wanted to try them out. I am happy with the inspection results and plan to get my recommendations serviced here soon!

AVOID. I bought a used van that was running fairly well with a *slightly* rough idle (drove it all the way from TorC no problem), and the ac was intermittent. I took it here and they charged me $1500 to replace an o2 sensor and recharge the ac without fixing either of the problems (they charged $100 just to hook up the OBD2!) and it came back barely running. It now stalls often and has very little power on acceleration.Do not go here, like most shops in this town it is run by criminals.

Needed brake service. Was told my brakes were like brand new upon their inspection despite having 190000 + miles on them and that pulling and vibration from braking from hwy speeds to 40 mph could be tires out of balance or a caliper issue, too soon to tell. Had brakes serviced elswhere, rotors worn 70%, warped and worn pads with 1cracked. They replaced and braking is great. These guys are lazy and dangerous.

Stay away from this predatory establishment !! My friend a single woman who came in to have her punctured tire with the screw still embedded in it, fixed. She could still drive with the tire on, which was just slowly leaking .She was told that the tire can t be fixed because the puncture is too close to the sidewall. The remedy suggested was to replace the tire in which case I would need to buy 2 tires, app. $400.00 total. Luckily She left and after sending picture of the tire to her mechanic friend she was assured that the puncture repair is a very routine fix. Yesterday she got the tire fixed at another establishment where she was treated with dignity, courtesy and respect and she got her tire fixed. The bill was $20.00 for the repair and $21.00 for new lug nuts.AVOID THIS PLACE !! AVOID GETTING RIPPED OFF!

Staff were polite. However, the mileage warranty sold with tires needs to be more transparent and explained correctly. Different staff explained different ideas about how the warranty works. It's important to know the mileage warranty does not in fact cover the mileage named as part of the warranty, does not cover the full cost of the replacement tire, and also requires several maintenance loophole requirements which make it, in large part, unusable.

I have done business at this location twice. The first time was fine other than the amount of time we had to sit in the lobby with my 2 year old granddaughter. The second time was absolutely horrible. It started shortly after I walked through the door. I told them that I had an appointment and what I was quoted over the phone. They had an appointment for me on the computer. But, they said that I was quoted wrong and it was going to be about $100.00 more than I was expecting. I had originally planned on getting 4 tires that I brought with me mounted on my wheels and a lifetime alignment. The alignment was where the pricing issue was. I said I would just get the one-time alignment since I was quoted wrong on the lifetime alignment. They said it would be an hour to an hour and a half. It ended up taking 2 hours. Which wouldn't have been that bad except they didn't do the alignment. So it took 2 hours to put 4 tires on the car. They said that both inner tie rod ends needed to be replaced before they could do an alignment. I have since replaced the tire rod ends and will not be taking it there to have the alignment done because of all of the things I have discovered after leaving. When I went out to the car, I noticed that my hood wasn't latched and neither was the trunk. What were they doing in the trunk anyway? Besides stealing tools. Yes, there were tools missing from my trunk. Then, I attempted to buckle my seat belt. And I found out that it had been unbolted at one end. I later noticed that two of my lug nuts were missing, and one of them was torqued way too tight. That one will have to be replaced as well as the impact socket that it got stuck in while I was removing it. When I was replacing the inner tie rod ends, I happened to notice that one of the control arm bolts was not tightened down at all. These people are either completely incompetent. Or, they intentionally sabotage customer vehicles. Either way, I will not be doing business at this location ever again.

This was the best customer experience I have ever had with chain store! The manager Renee is incredible and has won my hard earned trust. She advocated for me with the company holding the warranty seeking to limit their expenses. Renee would not let that stand. The mechanics worked late to ensure that my vehicle would be ready for work the following day. I will be back to this Firestone, recommending them to friends and sharing the story.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Took my truck in an hour ahead of the scheduled time. They said it would be ready by 3:30. Went back at 4:00 and they hadn't even started on it ! They lost my business needless to say!!

Liars, thieves, cheaters, upsellers, and absolutely clueless. Mr. Hall didn't even think to ask me if I wanted a tire repaired after the technician found a nail in it ... amazing. He had no problem wanting to sell me 4 brand new tires, which were not needed because the vehicle is still under warranty from the dealership. But he couldn't figure out to walk over and let me know that the technician found a nail in the tire. When I asked him why it wasn't repaired, he said, "it wasn't authorized." By this time, the technician had already taken the car off the rack and parked in the lot. This isn't rocket science. I'm NEVER EVER going back.

Made online reservations for car care package (check fluids & rotate tires) but short staffed. Plus online reservations was canceled from their end even though he stated He didn't see a reservation from me.

Lived in Albuquerque for many years. Recently moved to Georgia and came back to puck up our vehicles. Had a blowout and need tires replaced as soon as possible. Heaven, the manager told us that she had the tires we needed and we shot straight over! The tech, John, changed all 5 tires by the time we got back from getting coffee. Awesome work and professionalism! Would recommend this tech and manager!

Appointment for tires balanced and an alignment at 10:00. My truck was taken into the bay at 10:53. Everything was done and I'm satisfied with the performance of my truck. The staff were all very friendly and eager to serve.

Only by appointment: I called in the morning to check on their holiday hours. The guy that answered said they were open until 5pm, he asked for my phone number, name and what I needed done on the vehicle. I provided the information and when I arrive later that afternoon. The guy at the desk said we only take appointments. I was not told that when I called, but the guy took my information. They didn't provide any services to me.

Very friendly and helpful reception, reasonable prices. Wait was a bit long, but not terrible. There is a small child's space in the waiting area, free coffee, and a move playing on a television, which helps the time go by a little faster. A little empty inside, and a good professional atmosphere, which is all I'd expect from an automobile repair shop.

Took my Volkswagen to get brakes and rotors replaced only to find out they did not have a triple square bit to remove my calipers. This bit is common and essential most mechanics have regardless of foreign vehicles or not. I m having trouble believing they did not have that tool and have a hunch the mechanics didn t know what the tool was. This tool is not a key lock similar to wheel bolt locks on these vehicles which is what I think the mechanics thought was the problem.Dear Firestone, please do a better job at pre inspection before you say you can do a job, or hire adequate mechanics. I m usually fairly satisfied with your service up until now. Thank you for your time to read.

Waste of my time and money! I just asked for a simple inspection. Was told it would just be a couple hours. 24 hours later was told I needed to pay for more tests and needed a major repair (head gasket). Took the car to a mechanic recommended by a friend. The car is fine. No head gasket repair needed.

Got 2 new tires, balanced n everything but they scuffed up my rims n left gunk all over it , I guess they don't give a hoot about other people's property, tried cleaning some it , ugh don't go there for tires, they don't handle with care...

Me and my husband brought our truck in to get our tire fixed due to a nail we had an appointment for 3:30 and we've been waiting for an hour all the employees are talking not doing their job. This is NOT the first time this has happened as well as them messing around with things on my husbands truck that they shouldnt be messing with. I dont recommend this shop at all.

They are courteous, they gave me a time it would be completed and they were done before their estimated time. They checked my car for fluids, etc. Gave me a printout of what needed to be done and when. Very Good! Thanks

My tire blew out while driving through Albuquerque....I googled a place nearby and ended up here..... Esteban was a professional...asked me how he could help . asked me if I could afford to wait... when I told him I had no other buisness in town he immediately made a slot for me....van was on the stand 10 minutes later.....they gave my vehicle a thorough check up .... Walked me around the vehicle and showed me the items they recommended improving with out any pressure....price matched my tires and treated me with respect..........I would definitely be willing to bring my vehicle to these guys again

Best mechanic I've been to in Albuquerque. I called to schedule an appointment for a tire rotation and when I showed up they said that the system had goofed up and hadn't booked my appointment time. They said it would be about a 30-45 minute wait before they could get me in, and I told them it wasn't a big deal as I wasn't in a huge rush. However, not only did they have my Jeep up on the lift in 30 minutes, but they performed the rotation free of charge! I couldn't believe it! I will be a return customer for as long as I live in Albuquerque!

I will not be using this firestone again. I brought my car here to get a few parts fixed, the parts were fixed and I received my vehicle back with an approved inspection. A few days later I was driving down central and heard a huge and startling bang that caused my car to swerve right and become inoperable. I towed my car back to the same Firestone to find out that they had forgotten to replace a caliper bolt on my vehicle, which caused the incident. (Note: At first they tried to lie and say that their worker remembered putting the bolt back on.) Nobody has done any tire service to my vehicle except for Firestone and they definitely left the bolt off.After they fixed the caliper bolt, I noticed that my car no longer drove smoothly like it did before the incident, and was causing clunking/grinding sounds. I took my vehicle back to the shop and they told me that the problem was that the Half Shaft had torn boot which they fixed for free because the parts were still under warranty from a previous purchase.After this fix and on the same day, the Manager told me that the sound was still present and that I would also need struts replaced on the vehicle, that was ok with me because my struts were still under warranty, but they were trying to charge me about $220 for labor which I was also willing to pay. During the conversation, I brought up that this was all their fault from leaving the bolt off in the first place and that it has costed me over 7 hours of my time. The Manager Heaven Mowles then went off on me about talking bad about her employee, which I did not I had only brought up that it was their fault, which it was. So she went on to tell me that I can just get the struts fixed or I could leave in a very rude manner, so I told her that I would leave. While she was acting very rude I told the person behind me to be careful that this place will forget and leave parts off your vehicle causing damage.She wrote in my vehicle notes, that I proceeded to slander the technician to customers, which is untrue. And told me that I was no longer welcome in her store.Does this sound like a place you would want your vehicle fixed?Update: In the end they did the right thing and fixed what they had broken. I have changed review from 1 to 2 stars.
