Came here for my 2 year emissions test. Kari (hope I spelled that right) was efficient, professional, but most surprisingly the highlight of my day. I usually expect to be in and out of emissions fast and without much conversation, but she not only had me in and out fast... but also she was very kind, funny, and I really enjoyed talking to her. Price was also good. Who would have thought one of my best customer interactions I've had in Albuquerque would come from an emissions stop?! Kuddos to her and I will always recommend this place!

Fast and easy emission test..!! I got there because my car needed the emission test and this place is close to my work so I decided to stop by after work. It was super fast and the lady who helped me was very friendly and professional

I expected to spend half the day sitting in the MVD waiting to renew my registration. Before sitting in there for half the day I had to get the required emissions test in advance. This is the first time I've been required to have one since moving to NM so I didn't know where to go. I randomly chose FasTesT Emissions on San Mateo and I'm glad I did. It was quick and easy. Adam did the test for me and told me I didn't even have to go to the MVD. After the test he told me the MVD has a self-serve kiosk at the Albertson's on Montgomery that prints new registration cards. I left my apartment at 8 am to search for a place to do the emissions test and at 8:30 am I was walking out of Albertson's with my new registration in hand.

Adam is one of the kindest, "I'm going to walk you through this" emissions testers **ever**He said he works Fri - Sun at the San Mateo location. I was a nervous wreck due to past issues with my gas cap and the scary letter I got from NM MVD. Adam calmed me down, tested my van and the gas cap, and alleviated my stress.Only place I'll be going from now on is FasTesT on San Mateo!

Great service and very timely. He thought emission test expired exactly two years, not true. It expires the same as my vehicle registration according to NM MVD.

Adam was very helpful. Explained everything. Patient and thorough! Highly recommended by Sonny at MVD and an employee at Albertsons!!! No waiting. Best place to go for emissions testing in ABQ imo!!!

The owner was SOOOOOO nice. Great customer service. This guy is 100% a good human and will give you the inside knowledge on how to get the best bang for your buck when it comes to vehicle testing, drivers licenses, emissions etc. he s like the knowledgeable uncle/ dad we wish we all had. I d bring this guy to the dealership when I buy my next car to not get ripped off if I could. How can google give this guy more stars?!? UNPROFESSIONAL. I was going to go here for my emissions test, and I'm glad I noticed the owner's replies to negative comments. If you can't remain professional while refuting negative statements, you shouldn't own nor run a business. I want my emissions done by a PROFESSIONAL, not some verbally abusive a$$hat. I'm pretty sure the negative comments about being rude and shady are all too true, based on what I've seen here.

Very fast service but the place has a steep entrance which can cause lower cars like sports cars to drag the muffler or scrape the front.
