Fast! Reliable! Honest!The last garage I was going to didn't end so well. I needed a new mechanic/technician. I called a couple places who all said they were "booked up for the next two weeks." One of those places recommended D&J. I haven't looked back since! They explain everything to you in customer friendly language. They WON'T ignore things that NEED to be fixed (i.e. wait for you to break down and come back). They may even show you what they did, and why they needed to do it! They are fast and reliable. There is a super quick turn around unless the job is big. And you don't have to worry about them keeping your car for 2-3 days because they forgot your car was on their lot! Most of all they fix the problem the first time! A+

Absolutely amazing! He got my car in asap and kept me informed the whole time. And over text which worked better for me since I was at work. My car didn't even need to be fixed like I had thought cause I was dumb. He didn't try to make a buck off of me for helping me out like most places do. He's officially my new mechanic. My last mechanic was my step-dad who moved out of state and he was also impressed by Joey when I told him how helpful he was and didn't rip me off. I'm recommending this place like crazy!

Was having some oil pressure issues on my Silverado and decided to google best local mechanic and I was not disappointed!Got my truck diagnosed and back to running normal a lot faster than I thought!Great customer service.Great people.Great experience.I will definitely come back here.SUPPORT LOCAL!

I had called a couple of weeks ago about service and again to get the diagnostic cost. I was told $100 for everyone. Didn't seem super friendly over the phone but the reviews were so good.I dropped in early today and the guy at the desk was rather cold. I mentioned that I'd called and I get it, he talks to a bunch of people a day but he was very so what about it. I mentioned the $100 diagnostic and he said they raised the price to $120. I asked about service for today. I know it's first come first serve but he didn't seem to want to further the discussion... At all! I felt like I needed to get out of there quickly because he certainly didn't want my business and was ok with helping me feel that tension.Good thing I'd passed my second choice automotive place on the way in. They seem friendly and professional. I got all the work done today.

I was in a jam. Driving from the west cost to the east my broke in New Mexico. These guys are the best. They assisted in diagnosing the car issues and helped me every step of the way. Communication and expertise. Great team of mechanics. They went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!!! Thanks for the help Joseph

Amazing shop! Went to the ford dealer and after numerous run ins with them and horrible service I stumbled upon this shop. The owners son was such a straightforward honest guy! He helped me immediately with the air leak I had and didn't even charge me for the 20mins it took. I now have some other issues going on and ill be calling them first thing in the morning. Thanks again guys, such awesome honest people!Scotty

I will always take my vehicles here for repairs if need. I'm highly satisfied with THIS repair shop. They do an excellent job and also reasonable prices. They care for there customers and very helpful and listen to your concerns about your vehicle. They also will not start with repairs until they make contact with you and let you know what repairs need to be done. There is Awesome staff and mechanics there. Excellent customer service here. You all keep up the Awesome work and give yourself a pat on the back for the great person you all are with your customers.

We were traveling from California to Kansas home from vacation. The truck started shaking and the check engine light was flashing. My husband called and Joey answered and was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what it was right away and the diagnostic proved it. We were grateful that he and his dad were willing to help us on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. They were friendly, and professional and got us back on the road quickly. They were also very reasonably priced. We highly recommend them to anyone! I was able to bring in my 2015 Highlander and get a brake job the same day. The mechanic Joey was helpful in giving me a realistic idea of how long the work would take, and gave me a very reasonable quote. My car was out of the shop in a few hours. Having relocated 3 hours south of our former home, I had taken our 2019 Subaru Forester to a national service company for a quote on a simple, routine inspection. The cost for the services they said was needed was $1,600. Thinking that many of the services they quoted were unnecessary, I contacted our previous mechanic who also questioned many of the items and recommended I take our car to D&J for an evaluation, which we did.Long story short: D&J said that actually NONE of the services quoted by the national franchise outfit were needed at all . . . in fact, it is doubtful that the franchise mechanic even bothered to physically check many of the items they said were needed.Honesty and integrity are extremely critical in the business world, and my wife and I feel extremely fortunate to have found D&J Automotive Repair, as they will now be our "go-to" shop for all of our personal vehicle sevice and maintenance.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Fast, Professional and Very reasonable pricing. Joey was the employee that worked with me through the process.They took my car in same day I requested appointment. They had my car fixed in less than 24 hours and the total was less than what they had originally quoted. Being open on Saturdays helped too. Will always be going to them.

Extremely helpful, I broke down outside of Albuquerque at close to midnight, got towed and dropped off at this shop, as soon as they arrived they were super nice to me and told me they d take a look at the car, put together an estimate very quickly and even drove me to a nearby hotel to stay at until the car was fixed, then gave me a ride back to the shop, the car has run perfectly since I left. Couldn t recommend the shop more, extremely kind and professional people.

I can't say enough about D&J Automotive!!! We were traveling through on our way to California and needed an emergency brake replacement. We had called other shops, and none would see us, and we even took it into another that held the car hostage with a promise to fix it, but they didn't even look at it in 3 days. D&J not only inspected the car, but fixed it in one afternoon with true professionalism and care. I understand times are very busy and not all needs can be accommodated, but emergencies also happen and we were so lucky to find D&J. Whether you live in Albuquerque or not, take your car to them. They are simply the best.

Great shop! Was driving from CO to CA and had a weird problem kick up in the car as I was passing through Albuquerque. They were very helpful and did all they could to get me back on the road that day, even staying open an extra hour on a Saturday. Can't say enough about these guys!

This place did what they could but they referred me somewhere else cuz they couldn't program the sensor. So it's really not there fault. Alright place over all. I can't say I got mechanic work from them but they did okay.

Best auto repair shop I have ever worked with. The team is extremely experienced and beyond helpful. We ran into unexpected car problems on a road trip and they went above and beyond to get us back on the road in no time. Excellent communication, let us see the car problems for ourselves, very trustworthy. Jeep Grand Cherokee repairThis shop absolutely saved me! On a spring break road trip, had a severe knocking from near my suspension. Called them up, got me in and had a diagnosis in under an hour. CV joint seized, they even had me take a look while it was up on the lift. Overnighted the part and completed the repair in half the quoted time. They even worked with me on the price because of the terrible situation I was in. So happy to give business to a local shop with some top notch guys. They were very thorough and really great at communicating any issues my Ford vehicle had. Performed repair in a very quick manor, baring part availability. Otherwise, I highly recommend them for repairs!

I went to D and J because I had broke down in Albuquerque while driving to Gallup with my children and husband. I went to AutoZone and was told it was my Alternator in my Kia Soul. I called D and J and they said they would replace it for me the same day. When I got there I told David what AutoZone said and he laughed and said ya cant always trust AutoZone with the Diagnosis but did not run their own, just changed the alternator. Charged me $630 and the next day the same issue was happening with my car. I almost did not make it home to Colorado Springs because of this. They did not check to see what the issue was, even after I told them what was happening and that AutoZone was the one who told me what was wrong. I feel very taken advantage of because I was in a tight spot and stuck in a town I wasn't from. I will be getting an Attorney and seeing what I can do to get my money back. I am very disappointed in this business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Did an outstanding job on the muffler delete very fast and efficient very friendly easy to work with. Got the thermostat replaced and runs without a hiccup. Hello I just got my car fixed from here and even though the guys were booked and swamped they made it a point to service us as quick as they could on the same day, that s what I call customer service I d say come here because they are great!
