Great experience again! Cummins Coach Care center with a great focus on RV engines and generators. The facility has 4 RV spots inside the fence with 50/30 AMP electric hookups. At night after the gate closes they will give you a gate clicker that will open it so you can get in and out. Staff and facility are very RV-friendly. We had a non-starting QD8000 generator and they were able to diagnose it as a loose wire and get us back on the road quickly.Call ahead for an appointment!

What a first class, top-notch service center. I mean, we have never been disappointed with any visit to Cummins, but these folks saved our butt, AND our Tiffin bus. From Josh, our service manager who fit us in first thing, to Martin our service tec, who I am pretty sure delayed his lunch to get us running and out the door, to Chris, the project manager there who entertained my husband while we waited, we are so grateful for all you did for us! Thank y'all!!!

I arrived 20 minutes early and waited in the lobby while they diagnosed the problem with my Onan RV QG 4000 generator. There was No communication from the staff about the progress of the work being done on the generator. I had to ask several different times what the status was. After about two hours I asked again and the guy behind the desk said the fuel pump was bad and he was checking to see if they had one in stock. I told him to go ahead and replace it if there was one. An hour and a half later I asked about the status of the replacement. He told me they did not have one in stock! I sat there for 3-1/2 hours for something that should have been a 30-60 minute diagnosis. I will not be going back to this service center ever again.

They saved us from losing our vacation. We were meeting friends in Moab, Utah, we had reservations there at an RV park for Sept 1. We were on our way from our home in Deming when the engine in our Class A motorhome began a horrible growling vibration. We drove slowly up to Albuquerque, scared every minute. We got there at 4 pm on Monday Aug 23. They looked at it right away and told us we had a serious drivetrain problem. It was a complex series of problems that caused the failure, starting with a failure of the air leveling system, which dropped the height of the bus so low that the driveshaft was under pressure. Ultimately, it involved replacing the universal joint bearings, the rear airbags and parts of the leveling system. The Cummins people had to hunt down the air bags and other parts from third parties, this is not engine parts. It s chassis parts, mostly from Spartan. It took 4 days to get the parts and do the work, but they got it done for us. When we got back on the road Friday afternoon, it drove smooth as silk. We are so grateful! They were booked way out, but they worked us in because we were on a trip and they couldn t have been nicer or kinder to us. We had two standard poodles with us, one of which was young and a bit of a pain, and they were just so tolerant about him. I highly recommend this shop, especially Garrett Phillips, the GM. He took great care of us. They even bought us lunch!

This place is a rip off. They kept my trailer for 2 days only to give me a bill for a thousand dollars and tell me they couldn't find anything wrong with my generator, and that I need to buy a bigger and stronger one. Even after I explained I've had the generator running with the same set up in my trailer, maybe even less for 5 years and have never had the problems I was having. Still they insisted I need a new generator. I do not recommend this place at all.

I called their place in Farmington NM and was setup for an appointment on Thursday and it was Monday, I spoke with Jeff and was told sure come on in on Wednesday before 5 and we have hookups for you and can stay there for Thursday appt. We get to Farmington 2 in the afternoon and met with Jason and he say they don t have spots their shop isn t used they only provide field service. He contacted Albuquerque and they said yes they had an appointment for us, Jeff never mentioned in the original call they weren t in Farmington but In Albuquerque. To no avail we found another shop to take care of the problem. I tried to call Jason to let him know we got thing taken care of 3 hours later and Albuquerque answers and asked to be transferred to Farmington and they tell me that shop wasn t ever open to public and hung up on me even after I told them I talked to Jason only couple hours prior. Stay away and read other reviews. Later I asked a friend that takes care of a fleet of trucks there and told me he wouldn t take a lawn mower there for an oil change.

I don t even know where to begin with this place communication is absolutely horrible. Customer service is absolutely horrible. I caught the service department in multiple lies. When I went back to get my bag out of the RV. I had a moment to talk with a technician he told me a completely different story of what was wrong with my unit, from what the service rep said, left me sitting in the driver lounge couldn t even get him and give me any kind of updates. I had to ask every step of the way, practically beg for updates, then went to my hotel because it was not gonna be ready called the following day left several messages, they couldn t even take the time to return messages. The sad thing is instead of getting up from their desk to go ask they message each other through their computers to me. This is pure laziness. The funny thing is I think they re still so used to Covid protocols or something because Again it s ridiculous that they cannot get up and communicate with one another. Instead, they have to sit behind a keyboard even when they re practically sitting next to each other, this place is an absolute joke, and I would never recommend to anyone to bring their trucks or RVs to them, unless you want to deal with a bunch of lies and rip offs !!!!!

On our way from Missouri to California our RV started running badly, 5 mph up hill. We limped into Rocky Mt. Cummins. We were treated like family. We had to wait overnight for parts. We stayed on their parking lot with hook-ups.......no charge. The parts came early the next morning and we were back on the road by 1:00. The price was very fair. Robert and Lucas were the techs who got us in immediately. I can t say enough good things about these two. Especially Lucas, we dealt with him the most. Fantastic company, fantastic crew. We are so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. Jim P.

Had annual service to my Class A and Onan generator. Everyone I interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially Tanner who managed my service experience. It took as long as expected (half day for standard Coach Care and generator service) based on my previous experience at other Cummins locations. They have parking for motorhomes w elec hookup, if need. Location is downtown but just off the interstate, so not too bad to get to/from.

Cummins did a tear down on our motor to figure out why it locked up. Very professional and done in a timely matter. They allowed the truck to sit there for several months till we decided what our best option was. Thank you Bill and the rest of your team for the patience s and honesty.

They are very busy and most appts are 2 to 2 1/2 weeks out. However, they agreed to let us leave our motohome their and they would attempt to work it in. They got it worked in and we are happy campers. Very friendly to work with.

We would like to say thank you to everyone we worked with at Rocky Mountain Cummins in Albuquerque. All of you have gone above and beyond to get our motor home fixed. Your service has been outstanding and we would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work done. Thank you all!

We were traveling through Albuquerque, New Mexico when we experienced a engine malfunction light on our motor coach, we called all around town including the local RV Dealer which was the same company that we brought the Motor Coach from. No one could help us and told us we could check back with them the following week. Rocky Mountain said they would look at it to see what the diagnosis said was wrong. It turned out to be just a computer update and we were back on the road the next day. They were very professional and most helpful, plus they provided a place to plug in your RV until they can get you into the shop, plus they are pet friendly, can't beat them.

We had a problem with our RV and needed to have it diagnosed prior to leaving for Florida. Our Service Coordinator, Charlie Anderson was great to work with. He showed concern for our problem and kept us informed of the status of parts delivery. He also spent time on the phone with the Tiffin warranty department and convinced them to cover the entire repair bill even though the chassis was out of the warranty period. This Cummins Coach Care center also has 4 parking spots for RVs with electric service so we were able to stay right at the service center until the repairs were complete. I would highly recommend this Cummins Service Center for RV service.

32 yr old RV generator issues. On the road from OK to WA in a vintage RV. They couldn't fit us in, however they have a 20 minute appraisal program. Mechanic came out and bypassed our issue to get us on the road again. Highly recommend this shop! Nice to have a working generator going to the NW in autumn!

After being turned away by Freightliner (Lonestar) in Albuquerque, NM we were traveling in our Renegade RV and the check engine light came on, Lonestar Freightliner said it would be a week before they could look at it....extremely rude.Cummins to the rescue, Tanner told us to come in first thing in the morning, we did and were on our way by mid afternoon. They have RV parking with 50A service. Thanks technician Josh!

Made an appointment for service on my Oman generator ahead of time. They ordered and had in stock the parts needed ahead of my arrival. Was told at another service facility that the generator had to be removed from motor home to replace these defective parts. The technician at Rocky Mountain Cummins managed to do the repair without removal of generator. A big savings of labor and dollars.Thank you Rocky Mountain CumminsJoel Swapp

" I could not have asked for better support or service. Everything about the personal service we received from Tanner was EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend them."We were traveling through Arizona in early July (during Covid19) and our dash flashed a Check-engine warning after reaching out to Freightliner 24/7 (excellent source for support when issues arise on the road), we were told that we had a manifold issue but not an engine shut-down concern, great relief because we were 300 mile from both Cummings and/or Freightliner (and 2,000 mile from home). We made our way to Cummings in Albuquerque and met with Tanner. He received us and made sure we were serviced the next morning. The problem was corrected and we were on our way the next day by 4pm. I could not have asked for better support or service. Everything about the personal service we received from Tanner was EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend them. The doors were closed due to Covid and most conversations occurred over the phone.A few side notes...- I am posting this review now because we have had so many medical issues (not related to Covid), the first hospitalization happened right after we left the shop. I ended up in the hospital in Albuquerque and had the first kidney stone removed, until now we have had two other hospital stay (family) and other medical issues. It says quite a bit about any establishment when a customer will write a review 7 months after their experience. Bravo Zulu Cummins Albuquerque and Tanner!- This location has hook-ups for RVer to stay overnight. Unfortunately, it is in a very rough neighborhood and once night fell, it was very "sketchy" to be there. We unplugged and stayed at Crackle Barrel, where we had breakfast in the morning. I would Not recommend staying at the Cummings lot. It would be great if Cummings had their lot fenced off so that overnight stays felt safe.Thank you Tanner and Cummins Albuquerque for taking such great care of our family. Much appreciation to the entire team!

This place is a joke! Completely incompetent staff working here. Had one of our work trucks here three times for the same re-gen problem within 6 weeks. The third time they took a week just to send me an estimate which was for $8000. When I called to talk to the service coordinator, Barbara Gray, who sent me the estimate I got her voice mail in the morning and again 6 hours later in the afternoon. I called the next day and she still wasn't available so I talked to Phillip Montano, another service coordinator, he acted completely put out when I asked him to look into it since Barbara wouldn't return a phone call. He said he couldn't answer my questions but would look into it and get back to me. I never heard back for him so I called back at 4:30 in the afternoon and he said he had referred it to his boss, A.V, who is the service supervisor, and that he would call me in 10 minutes. Of course, Alvaro "AV" Alcaraz, never called me back either. The next day I still hadn't received a call from anyone, so I called and finally Barbara answered the phone and I told her how displeased I was with their service thus far and that I wanted to just come get my truck and take it elsewhere. She said that was fine and that she would go look to see that it was put together and call me back, then hung up on me. She called me back 5 minutes later and said truck was ready to go. We drove down to get it and when my driver got in it, the whole dash was still torn apart. I went in and asked to see the manager, Alvaro, and told Barbara she was completely incompetent and obviously had not even looked to see if my truck had been put back together so I could take it elsewhere. Alvaro had no input at all when I told him about how lousy his service coordinators had been. He stood there with this dumb look on his face and walked outside with us so we could show him the dash was still in pieces in the cab of the truck. I won't ever take another vehicle, generator, or anything else requiring Cummins service to this place. There was an older gentleman behind me and told me his RV had been there a month already for a generator problem! So, if you're an elderly person with an RV I would avoid bringing it here, you might die out in the parking lot before these idiots can get it fixed for you!

We stopped at this Cummins in our motorhome on a recommendation from a friend while travelling thru ABQ. He said they have 50amp hook-ups for rigs in for service. We quickly found out that their experience was the exception, not the norm. The shop got us in for diagnostics on a Monday at 2pm, finding an exhaust leak and two oil leaks. They were to also service our generator. Another appointment was then made for Thursday to start work on repairs. During this time, we had to deal with a terrible extended warranty company that added to the issues we had. Once there we quickly discovered that this Cummins is in a bad part of town. Everything is locked up tight behind a tall fence except the 50amp hook-ups that are outside by the road. Loud trucks, cars and motorcycles drag racing, stray dogs, and the homeless will keep you company while you wait here. We also noticed that there was only one person at the front office, Barbara, who was friendly, helpful and would acknowledge your presence. If she was not there, you were invisible. Communication thru out the entire service center was also very poor. Individually, each person we dealt with was friendly, but no one seemed to know what the other person was doing. Getting messages relayed correctly was frustrating and caused delays in our service. Two parts that came in were incorrect and had to be reordered, furthering our delay. We were there for eleven days and had to get a hotel for eight of them. While waiting we talked to other customers who were having issues too. Once repairs were done, they credited us for three nights at the hotel. Checking their work after getting the motorhome back we found two loose hose clamps, a loose mounting bolt for new cooling fan, hydraulic fluid down a quart, generator engine oil down a half quart. Looking over the receipt later, there was no oil filter part listed on it and they were supposed to change it, we were also charged for paint with no explanation. Other than an emergency we would not go to this shop again.

I guess Cummins does not need our business! I have called twice and have waited for the service supervisor Bill or some one to call us re: a new onan generator. No response x2 message left after initial contact with Bill. Sucks

They have had the family rv for over a month and need to be told step by step instructions on what to do next. It is not easy for my family to support the outplaced other family members because of slow service. The family gear is held up in the RV because it was supposed to be a few night repair, not a month. I look forward to your contact Cummins Service Manager. It seems this is the trend of recent months.

Customer service has degraded a great deal since a year ago when their service manager Brian was here. Customer service now appears happens by accident. Priority of taking care of RV customers has dropped significantly. Commitments do not mean much anymore. RV'ers be prepared to be told what you want to hear, not what they are actually going to do.

Service advisor named Tanner made my day yesterday. I highly recommend using this Cummins dealer! I was driving my Kenworth semi when a "derate" warning appeared on the dash. The Kenworth dealer in Albuquerque said they could not even look at my truck for 2-3 days!Tanner offered to check the code quickly when I came in and we could devise a plan from there. We discovered that the "code" was minor and I was able to complete my delivery and get repaired a day later. This quick help literally saved me $2,000 - $3,000. Thanks guys !! I will be back !!

This place turned my parents motorhome engine situation into a nightmare. Took 9 days for it to get looked at. They then quoted an insane price of 31 thousand to put a new engine in and said it would take 12 weeks. Charged 1500 and did NOTHING. Stay away.
