They were awesome. Needed an alignment, obviously. Haha! I was able to get in the same day I called. After we dropped off, they called me back a couple hours later and we picked our car up. No extra shenanigans, and they did great work. It's been a long time since we have needed an alignment. They were great years ago and I'm happy they are still great to work with!

NEVER CHETS AGAIN! WORST SERVICE EVER! Sent my son over to get an alignment done. They charged my son Full Price for a Service that could not be completed. Come to find out my sons front tie rods were seized. Was quoted over $800 by Chets for parts and labor. opted not to have them do the service so that we could take it to our mechanic to get the issue fixed cheaper. Chets then charged my son full price for a service that they could not complete, telling my son to bring the vehicle back once the tie rod was fixed and that they would Complete the alignment for him. This made since to me because they charged him full Price. fast forward to a week later my son called to get a new scheduled date. when that date came they had to reschedule. Still no biggie on our end. they then had to reschedule his appointment again. fast forward to the next week, my son takes the vehicle back and they wanted to charge him more than the original cost, then they came back and wanted to charge him half the cost to complete the work that never was really completed in the first place. All in all at this point i made the decision to take the vehicle else ware. bottom line Chets charged full price and never completed the full service. They also did not honor their initial word. I now know just to go to BIG O Tire they had a free diagnostic and only charged $100 and completed the service and they said. NEVER CHETS AGAIN.Also for whatever its worth when I asked to speak to an owner or supervisor I was told NO. and that no one was available.

The guys at Chets are very friendly and in my opinion, are experts in what they do. The cleanliness of the shop was a great first impression for me and their knowledge of what my jeep needed to be properly aligned exceeded my expectations far more then any automotive shop I've worked with before. The price for the work done was right in line with what I was expecting. My lifted gladiator steers and drives better than ever. I would encourage the readers of this review to also do business with Chets Wheel Alignment.Service: Wheel alignment

My first visit was great got my custom JDM Subaru aligned there and they even caught that one of my wheel bearings was going out. My second visit they replaced the wheel bearing and hub. They said it would be under warranty for 12 months or 12000 miles. The bearing or hub was installed incorrectly and I took it back after 11450 miles when I noticed it from how bad it had gotten. They were rude, unprofessional and wouldn't stand behind they're warranty/work. They tried to say I must have hit a curb or something and looked for any reason for it to not be covered under warranty, including saying we took it apart. The alignment is still perfect just to prove I haven't hit anything. When I took off the hub myself after they wouldn't help me out, I took it to Subaru and they stayed the bearing had been installed off set and wasn't straight. That's coming from a Subaru professional so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Also if your gonna get an alignment go to your nearest Firestone they'll give you a LIFETIME alignment for like 149$ and will stand behind they're work, not give you excuses, give you advice such as if you need a tie rod (when you actually do) and if you go get work done at another shop you can bring it back and get the alignment checked for no cost!

Excellent! First time I've ever had an alignment shop get perfectly even numbers left and right. They definitely went above and beyond and were friendly to boot. Also had zero issues with my aftermarket suspension. Won't be going anywhere else for alignments in the future!

Quoted me $109 on the phone charged me $132. Did very little other than to change toe from .34 to .15 and recommend thousands of dollars worth of additional work if i really wanted it aligned right. Unfriendly and acted pretty much like they didn't care whether I Gave them my business or not until it came time to the upsell then they were nice.Service: Wheel alignment

Chet's was referred to me by another BMW owner so I took my E46 M3 there to have a suspension issue checked out and for new brakes. I was told in the past the car would need new front struts (very expensive), but Chet's was able to solve the issue with just an alignment. John was my contact person and worked hard to then resolve the brakes issue. He ultimately recommended replacing all 4 rotors and 4 pads, and found as close to OEM as he could, keeping high performance rotors on all four wheels and recommending switching to carbon pads, all things I had already realized I wanted to do via my own research, so it was reassuring to know they were recommending the same thing. Due to a supply issue and a pressing need to have my car for an upcoming organized drive, John still found a solution that got my M3 ready in time and just at the budget I had mentioned I was comfortable with for all the repairs. I had previously only taken my M3 to the local BMW dealership, but now I will not hesitate to take this high performance and very specialized vehicle to Chet's for all future needs. And I will be bringing my Jeep not to the Jeep dealer anymore, but to Chet's for its alignment needs too. It is refreshing to have an experience with a local ABQ business that is actually professional and competent, and also friendly. If you have a high performance vehicle, or any vehicle, I would go here first for alignment and suspension issues for sure, it saved me a ton of money doing so. Only place in Albuquerque that I'll take my car for alignment. They do a great job, and seem to be very knowledgeable and honest. Also helped me out with a full new set of brakes/rotors in a pretty short turnaround. Prices are reasonable I think, but have gone up a bit since I last came in.

I purchased my 2002 Ford Ranger in 2010, and thanks to my employer at the time (who owned a much loved Porsche) recommended Chet's for an undercarriage inspection of my truck to ensure that I would receive outstanding professional service (since I was on the road most of the time as part of my job). I had wheel bearings serviced, new brakes, shocks and an wheel alignment completed in June 2011. The old Ranger was driving like new again!My second visit wasn't until August 2023, when the upper (control arms) and lower ball joints were replaced, and finished with wheel alignment. The shocks installed in 2011 are still in good working order . Service Advisor John VanDenBrink was courteous and professional, and Technician "BG" did an outstanding job making my old truck drive--like new again!

Absolutely great service, I would not take my vehicle anywhere else for alignments. The professionalism and knowledge of this shop is bar none. John the service writer is super knowledgeable and is willing to help. They are honest and upfront about everything. They do much more than just wheel alignments so be sure to check them out! John was very attentive and kept me informed about my vehicle throughout the day. Will definitely recommend to anyone in the future!Service: Wheel alignment

My family owned and operated a front end alignment shop in Tucson from 1956 to 2018. I worked there many years and gained a working knowledge of front ends. Because of this, I feel I can speak with some authority when I say that the nice folks at Chet's know what they are doing. I also worked at another garage down the street from Chets and we always trusted our front end work to Chet's - with good reason! They have decades of collective knowledge and are HONEST! I have been trusting them with my personal vehicles for decades now and recommend them to friends and strangers alike; got new tires or uneven tire tread wear? Go To Chets! I especially recommend them to other Women as they have always been very professional and respectful toward me. They keep a tidy shop with a comfortable and clean waiting area. Keeping your vehicles tires and linkage in good repair will save your tires and perhaps even your life. I have my vehicles alignment checked once a year and always right after I get a new set of tires. It is without reservations that I recommend them.

Was referred to Chet s, was not disappointed at all.Actually listened to me and did full,brakes alignment, tires and front end.Great turn around , great front of house service.Went over all the readouts and completely transparent after diagnosis before performing work.They have another loyal customer now.

Has a great reputation and my experience lived up to it. When I was there he phoned a previous customer to tell him he did not need new brakes. An honest mechanic-how wonderful, brings back the old days.

Full alignment on my lifted Xterra and dialed in my SPC adjustable upper control arms perfectly.One year update: I came back after installing new parts and got another wonderful service. If I could write a new review I totally would! 5 more stars

The dealership said we had some lower bushings on the front that needed replacement. We had planned to do the repairs ourselves, even bought the parts, but just had not gotten time in the last six months to pull the lower arms. So, we dropped it off at Chet's to have them work on it. We are very glad we did. They said the bushings were still good and the car only needed an alignment. Saved us $$. Thanks!Service: Wheel alignment

Gary is always great to talk to on the phone - friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Chet's does great work and I never worry about extra costs being tacked on to my bill because of the fair estimates. I know some places are a little bit cheaper for alignment and I can get my tires balanced for free at my tire store, but these guys did a great job. It was well worth a few extra bucks to know it was done right and feel a difference in my ride. It's really nice to have peace of mind at this auto shop I can trust.

I brought my car in to Chet's for an alignment and highway vibration issue after getting new tires from Discount Tire (who had rebalanced multiple times with no improvement). Chet's was able to completely eliminate my vibration and give me detailed information on each wheel, explaining what caused the vibration, how well they were able to balance it, and how out of round each tire was. Turns out one of my new tires was way out of round, and Discount Tire had placed completely incorrect weights on all four wheels! It drives completely smooth down the highway now. Can't recommend them enough. Truly some kind and knowledgeable people.Services: Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

Would highly recommend anyone to stop by and get their vehicle serviced here. Talked to other alignment shops and even the dealership to get my vehicle serviced and none of them would do it. Spoke with John to get my car situated and was able to get me in relatively quickly. The car came out to spec when it was finished and was driving as it should. Toke in my 1979 Chevy K10 4W drive. One year ago. Not a fav on giving reviews until i know everything was done right. I had my whole front end replaced, tie rods, ball joints, idler arm, front stabilizer arm and front shock. While in the shop they replaced my steering box at cost along with a power steering pump and lines that where going bad with my ok of course. Everything they did was amazing and the price was a lot lower then i even thought it would be. Taking it back in for additional work this week for more work as i restore this truck. This is, by far, the best alignment shop I have ever used in my 35 years of owning dozens of different European cars. They did a perfect job on my BMW. They were quick, efficient and friendly. And they are reasonable. They might be a little more than the chain auto shops but you get what you pay for.

Very courteous and professional group of specialists. Made special accommodations to fit within my limited work week schedule. Provided me with before and after measurements and had no issue that I couldn't pick up my car until the very end of my workday. I would highly recommend this alignment shop.

I would NEVER recommend Chet's Wheel Alignment to anyone. I paid full price for an alignment that could not be completed because I was told they could not correctly tighten a control arm bolt. I had not problem putting the car back correctly and with a flex-head ratchet they could have done the same and added the shims. They said they could complete the alignment once it was fixed however I would have to pay full price again! After arguing with them for not completing the full service I was told they would give me a $10 discount when I brought it back in which is ridiculous. I was Charged $98 with tax for 30 minutes of work! The staff was rude and unprofessional. I have worked in diesel shops and am knowledgeable enough about cars to know when I am being cheated. I do my own repairs on the fully restored classic vehicle I brought in. I don't have the tools or equipment to perform my own alignments. The website claims "Satisfaction Guaranteed" however I don't know how anyone would be happy dealing with these people. After speaking with fellow car enthusiast about my experience, they too have experienced the same problems with Chet's. They are full of excuses for they hurried half done work. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICHLE HERE!!!

Fantastic service and very reasonable.Very professional-Brought my truck in for my appointment. They took it in right away, found the problem in a few minutes, and had the parts quickly. The technician was excellent and my truck was spotless when returned to me..It was so nice to get great service, I've been disappointed at so many other shops. My truck drives perfectly now and we will be taking all our future repairs to Chets Wheel Alignment.Brandt Maass
