Extremely pleasant experience. I Had a tire that lost half it's pressure overnight in my garage. Showed up at Car ER with no appointment. They immediately took a look and were able to fix it with a plug. I was there no longer than 10 minutes. The cost was under $20. It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at any auto repair shop. Very fast and professional.

Went to get my new wheels and tires mounted and balanced, and they did a fantastic job! They were quick and got the fitment down very well. I checked the oil and it was perfectly clean. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else.I have taken my vehicle here several times but my most recent experience was awesome.I made an appointment for my wife to take my pathfinder for a routine oil change and brake flush per the manufacturer manual.I got a call from them that the brake fluid was still in good shape and didnt require a flush at this time (most miles on my vehicle are highway). I was planning on changing the air filter myself but gave them the business for looking out.The best part of this experience is they made sure they had the right type of oil for my vehicle. I really appreciate the personal touch and looking out for my vehicle.

Awesome repair shop! I brought my car in with a brake issue and a clutch issue I (and another mechanic I had previously been working with) had been dealing with for five years.They fixed both issues and the clutch works and engages better than it has since I ve owned the car.Most importantly to me, as we were trying to figure out the best way to fix my car, I had several conversations with the mechanics over the phone. They gave me their recommendations but also listened to the history I had with these issues and respected the fact that, although I was not as knowledgeable as them, I was familiar with my car and it s sadly lengthy repair history.Because of this, the repairs ended up being cheaper than expected and my car is in better shape than it has been in years.

Hands down one of my favorite places to service my vehicle. The staff is awesome! They work fast but are very detail oriented. I m always in and out of there with no question my car is leaving in better shape than it came in. I would highly recommend you give them a call the next time your vehicle is having problems or needs to be serviced you won t be disappointed!!!!!Service: Oil change

First time using this place, saw the great reviews that was on the website. The company was able to fix the heater hose in a matter of 3 hrs! I was expecting to leave the car there all day! Great communication through emails and very kind. Will go to them for my car needs! Thank you very much!

I moved to the 87114 area a few years back, i read some reviews on Car-ER and decided to allow them to work on my vehicles. Ive used them as my local mechanic 3 times now, each time ive received friendly and efficient service.Not to mention accurate and professional recommendations for preventative maintenance. Along with more than fair pricing, i Highly Recommend Car-Er to all my neighbors and friends.

I needed to get my car seen after the engine was acting up and made driving dangerous, and while nearly every other place had backlogs of cars, giant queues, and mixed reviews, this place not only had availability but also had the best, most consistent reviews, so I decided to take my car here. I asked them to not do anything extra that we didn't ask for and only fix the engine problem (i.e. not find unrelated "problems" like tire rotations and other things just for the sake of charging money for more services).They were ridiculously fast, took maybe an hour, hour and a half (even though they estimated longer time) and told me what they found wrong and what needed to be changed before going forward with it, essentially asking my permission to make changes instead of making changes I didn't approve of.They had all the right parts and were significantly cheaper than many other shops around, and friendly of course. I will be making another visit to them soon to inspect my emissions problems, and will continue to use them for future car services.

I made an appointment to get my compression arms and ball joints replaced " and anything else " they would recommend. After looking at the car they said I needed control arms and struts . So I said that's fine and I got my quote. And I double checked twice to make sure my quote included the ball joints and compression arms. And both times it was confirmed. I even went and showed them the picture of the part I wanted replaced. After a week of the car being there I picked it up . Everything was replaced except for the parts I wanted replaced. And now the car is still making the same knocking sound as before.. got myself new ones today. For 100$

My husband and I can't say enough great things about Car ER! It's the only place we would ever bring our cars to! They are the best in every aspect, customer service, quality of work, trustworthy and cost. The entire team is fantastic and we would highly recommend them to everyone!!! Bought a car in need of AC repair. Staff was super flexible and went above and beyond to get the AC fixed quickly. I ve taken quite a few cars here for purchase inspections. This is the only place that I will take my car for service. They do quality work and inform you of what needs to be fixed before they do any repairs. The staff is friendly, and the service is done as expediently as possible. I have taken my wife's car there, as well as my own and my daughters. I highly recommend CAR ER as a place that will fix your vehicle correctly and won't try to pick your pocket while they do it. Excellent business.

Family member purchased 2010 Nissan Rogue from the owner of Car ER witch is supposedly an ASE Certified Automotive Shop, usually a 20 point inspection should be done to make sure the vehicle is mechanically sound and dependable. The Rogue is equipped with a CVT transmission & are notorious for failure but yet the owner was not informed upon purchase, battery was missing factory hold down to prevent the battery from tipping over, also tubing connecting to the air box was left unfastened! Needless to say the vehicle was taken on a cross country road trip & transmission went limp mode which prevents the vehicle from going no faster than 50 miles per hour on the highway due to excessive heat in the transmission! Car ER lacks integrity, the owner deflects from knowing he sold the individual a lemon & refuses to make things right, I will make sure to spread the word around in Albuquerque on how they conduct business so future Customers won t have to go through what our family has!!!!

Driving to work this morning my front brakes started making a loud awful noise, I dropped off my car at 10am all bays were full and I still had my car fixed and back to me by 2pm. The experts at Car ER are top notch professional service mechanics. Nate in particular was fantastic, he was polite, professional, he worked hard and helped me save money. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the general manager of this place soon. Anyone thinking about taking their car or truck to CAR ER! Do so you will not be let down with their product it's easily the best in the city. Thank you Nate and the rest of the crew over there at CAR ER. They really saved my hide this week.

This shop has been absolutely amazing! They are honest, upfront and really nice to deal with. They often times help me find ways to save money well keeping my cars in top shape. Would highly recommend them!

Finding a auto mechanic/shop that you can rely on is like hitting the lottery. What I love about the folks at Car E.R. is that they will actually tell it to you like it is. No holds barred. Honest. Even if it hurts to hear that it might cost a lot of money to fix something. These guys have given me free estimates, and allowed me to make the decision about my vehicles without pressuring me or making me feel stupid because I don't know much about cars. Really, truly appreciate this diamond in the rough shop, and the genuine dedication they all seem to share in being quality, reliable mechanics.

First time I've been here, but will continue to come. They are VERY reasonably priced, very honest, and much quicker than I thought to complete the work I took it in for. Also did a headlight restore for me, and wow I didn't think it would look as good as it does! So far I am very satisfied with this place, thanks for the great work!

I happened to drive by and needed a four wheel alignment. I read the reviews and the good outweighed the bad. I came in set the appointment for Saturday and there was no disappointment I was in and out and with a four wheel alignment and a oil change. This will be the place where I have my vehicle serviced, thank you Car-Er.

This is an awesome car repair shop.They not only fixed the problem on my car, they also checked for upcoming problems which may have occurred.They explain everything completely. I have lived here all my life and have been to many repair shops. This the the place I plan to go to again now and forever. Great prices too!!!!

These guys are awesome. Here you get quality work done at a reasonable price, which equals value. Recently took a vehicle to them that a hard to diagnose electrical problem. They were able to fix it, and did not even charge me for some of the time spent on the diagnosis.

I have been taking my trucks here for years. I'm about to bring my 2010 Dodge 2500 power wagon back here again today. Maybe people dont like paying their auto repair Bill's. That's what it seems like anyway. I've spent thousand and thousands with them on every truck I have. They have never steered me in the wrong direction and have given me discounts because of how high my Bill's are when I go. Thats because I take care of my vehicles before things go wrong.If u cannot afford the vehicle repairs get a dang bike and quite complaining. All these guys are great... from the front desk guys all the way down to the mechanics, the owner, and the owners son. I own a buisness as well and know u cant please everyone. Matter a fact most people want things handed to them because the are stingy and dont feel like they should pay for service and that the buisness owes them. Lets talk about shameful..... lol. Anyone reading these reviews know these guys are fantastic. I will forever be taking my vehicles to the staff at Car ER.

I do not like giving bad reviews. But I was frustrated with this exchange a few minutes ago so after sharing with them and not an adequate response, I feel it needs to be shared with others.I just got my oil changed and tires rotated ($60). I also asked if they could top off my fluids. They said "of course". I knew I was out of wiper fluid and my power steering fluid was low because of the whining.I went to pick-up my vehicle. They said everything is done. I asked "They topped off the fluids?", they said "Yes". I asked, did they note how much fluid they had to add to the power steering?". They said, "Yes, they had to add just a little bit." "Great!" I said.I paid, got into my car. Tried to spray my wiper fluid. Nothing. I pulled a U turn, came back. And asked "So the wiper fluid was never topped off. How do I know that any of the work that I paid for was done. What about the power steering?" So they called a guy out to add washer fluid and power steering. Both were really low. He had to add about of quart (guessing) of PS fluid. What frustrates me is this. We all know we can't trust a typical car mechanic. But these guys were supposed to be different. They guy at the front said that he has notes that they specifically added "a little bit of fluid". So the truth is that either that guy was lying to me, or the mechanic lied to him. Either way it violates TRUST. The one thing that is needed in this business.(BTW, no apology. I also asked how I can know that the oil was changed and the tires rotated. He just said, because I saw it in the shop moved from one bay to another (tire rotation) and I can show you the new oil filter Unfortunately that does not bring back lost trust).Unfortunately I cannot reccommend CAR + ER. They are nothing special (like I hoped). They are simply another typical car shop which you can't quite trust.I'm also willing to be wrong. So if I missed something, feel free to respond to this review and I'm open to hearing your side. Here's to making CAR + ER a better business!

I took my car for alignment one week before they give me a lots of things to fix after we checked they were wrong then I made appointment with them for the second time to just do the alignment.They told me it takes one to one and half hoursAnd I left my car and after one hour and 45 minutesI came back and asked if they finished my carThey told me they didn t even touch my car yetAnd I told them you didn t even start working on itThey told me take your car if you want and I said it took my two hours now you tell me to take my car somewhere else and the owner came from back at that time and asked what ie going onI said the story to him then he told me the same thing and said your car if you want so anyway He told me he call the police if I don t leave their storeAny they are very rudeService: Engine repair

I got my oil changed today. The did an amazing job. I was only there 15 minutes. I was going to take my care to Vavoline but they were going to charge me 90 dollars so I told them no thank you and came here jnstead. So glad I found this little gem. Fast friendly service. I highly recommend this place.

Needed a job done quickly, late in the day, and they were able to take the car in right away. He had the parts needed on hand, got them installed and I was on my way in a short time. I know this is not always possible, but the fact is he tried and put customer service first, instead of last, which is the usual course of action in this town. One of the few places in Abq that really does put the customer first. Done right, done quickly, and at the right price. Can't ask for more. Thanks guys!!!
