took me a while to finally post a review but Bob and his boys saved me from paying for a whole new transmission. turns out all i needed was 4 new tires because of the AWD i have on my car. WAY cheaper than paying for a transmission. whole time i thought it was my transmission. they're honest and helpful. very thankful for their honesty and diagnoses!

Just wanted to give Bob the owner a shout-out for how he treated me when I came to his shop with a crisis. I am from San Antonio and was visiting our niece in New Mexico 800 miles away when I started having transmission problems, so I thought. I explained to Bob the issue I was having and explained to him that I was to be on the road the next morning to SA. Bob told me that he would have my truck checked out first and run a diagnostic. His team went to work and did a complete check and found no issues with the transmission but did find some codes that need attention but should not keep me from getting home. His team also found my oil was a little over 1/2 a quart low on oil and topped it off, this was probably due to a leak I have on my rear main seal. Bob could have charged me an arm and a leg but he didn't. Instead, he said have a safe trip home.I made it back safely to SA with no major issues.Thanks, Bob!

Ask for Greg and Daniel they take care of your vehicle!! I received great service, everything needed was done in good time and I really appreciated the guys who got it done. Easily the only place I ll be taking my truck going forward.

I cant begin to explain how happy I was with this great business and company! I was traveling from California back home to Pennsylvania and my transmission went out. I found the great reviews and I decided to push a few more hundred miles to get to Budget Transmission Masters. Thank God I did! These guys were absolutely awesome!!! I worked with Andrew and Bob and they were incredibly helpful and kind. They got me right in for a full diagnostic and when it was found i needed a new transmission they got one ordered the same day. I was stuck over the weekend but come Monday they were in constant communication with me about the status of the ETE transmission tracking and once it arrived they had me all set to go in just 2 days! I can't recommend them enough. Ill be stopping in just to say hi when passing through again, I was treated like a friend from the first interaction. Thank you so much!

I wouldn t recommend this place. First it took 14 days to get my car. The only reason I think I got it it s because I hounded them to get my car. Secondly my tires were new and now I have a nail came in my tires were fine picked it up tire pressure light is on and have a nail in one of my tires. Thirdly someone from this place stole my car charger and my company phone. Fourthly they had too leave my car light on because my battery is dead and now I have to buy a new battery. Fifthly they broke the lever to pop my hood and now I don t know how I m going to replace my battery if I can t open the hood. Lastly the guy tried to charge me way more than. He told me I would have to pay for the diagnostic but after I called and spoke to several people I found out that s discounted if I get my car serviced her. I m so unhappy with this place. Don t waste your time or money. And now I have to file a police report. These people are thieves and liars and I mean that from all aspects! Now they re saying I m the liar. Bob the owner wants you to roll over and take it since he s been running this business for more than 30 years. You re a joke!

My brother recommended this place after they fixed his car. I had a good experience, staff were super helpful and nice. Then I recommend it to my husband when he had an issue his car. We thought it was the transmission but it was just the battery. They were super quick and nice all the time. I highly recommend it.

My car was leaking transmission fluid pretty bad and these guys found the issue and fixed it free of charge. Their honesty and affordable prices, allowed me to then have the much needed maintenance draining and filling on the transmission and transfer case done. They were the only company that made an effort to get me in before my leak caused a bigger problem and the truly outstanding customer service was reflected from the first phone call I made to them as well as in the shop dropping off and picking up my vehicle. It's so hard to find a honest, reliable mechanic , these guys definitely earned my trust. Highly recommended Bob and the crew at Budget transmission masters!!!Service: Transmission

I went there the other day for the routine transmission fluid change. Which is cheaper than chain mechanic shops, btw. I knew I had previous coolant leaking issues and thought it got fixed at a different place, but Andrew and Greg were nice enough to show me what they were seeing and explained to me what they thought the issue was. Turns out my water pump was crack and they gave me a quote for it that service. I went back the following day and got that service done.They were beyond helpful and courteous! I'm so happy I took my car here! I will highly suggest Budget Transmission Masters to any friends or family who is needing their car to get worked on.Thank you again Andrew & Greg for taking your time to explain to me the issue and talking care of my car! These guys! Each person I spoke with was polite and professional, going out of their way to be helpful. Andrew, especially, had to put up with my questions and not once seemed impatient. They saved me a LOT of money over other shops' estimates for a repair that was , for me, quite expensive. They even fixed a problem another shop had wrongly diagnosed as a faulty sensor, a very expensive part, finding the problem was a different part that was only $40. When I picked up my car, the owner was so easy to speak to and asked me to bring my car back in 2 weeks so they could double check that everything is OK. It means a lot to be made to feel comfortable and like "one of our little family" as I was told!Service: Transmission

I recommend anybody that needs help with transmission issues to come over to budget transmission masters. They replace the transmission back in 2018 and did a ton of other gaskets and other work on the car no leaks nothing no issues at all. The transmission slipped on me I got worried and brought it in no problems. I had to do a rack-and-pinion with high and low pressure lines. Well worth the cost. Hopefully I will bring my S10 and have them look at my manual transmission.

This place is absolutely amazing. They were the only ones that were able to find a transmission for my van in less than a week. All the other places I called including the dealer were 4 to 6 weeks out. Their customer service is amazing.. they really went above and beyond to get me back on the road

We are a small business that is very busy. Transmission went out on one of our trucks and this really hinders you from giving quality service. Checked reviews of several companies and Budget Transmissions was one of them. Two other companies gave me quotes and one said it would be mid-March. Called Budget and talked to Andrew. Very polite and informative. He checked several vendors and found a transmission back east. They diagnosed vehicle on a Monday. Transmission came in that following Friday. Called me first thing on Tuesday and told me vehicle would be ready that afternoon. What can I say but thank you. $2000 dollars less and six weeks earlier than others. To a small business that wants to service all their customers properties for their landscaping needs, this was a lifesaver. Already getting ready to bring another vehicle in just for routine maintenance. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to others.Service: Transmission

We were on a cross country trip and our car was having CVT whining noises and a loss of power as we crossed the AZ Mountains. We finally stopped on a Sunday in Albuquerque to get it checked out, but alas there are no transmission shops open on the Sundays. We went to Firestone, and they recommended Budget Transmission Masters. So we stayed the night and I was glad we did. We took it in at 8am on Monday and Bob had his team look at it right away. Indeed it was the transmission.Bob and his crew were so kind, understanding and extremely accommodating given our situation. There were no transmissions in stock nearby, so we had to get a rental car and press onward. We left the car there and once they got the transmission and installed it I flew back one way and they had Aiden pick me up from the ABQ airport. I paid the bill and Bob brought me over to his office and hooked me up with some of his favorite English candy for the journey back.This team is fantastic and they care about a great outcome. I would absolutely go here if I needed any transmission maintenance or work done and was in the area.Pro Tip: Ask for the AAA discount if you are a member it saved me $75.

Really excellent company to do business with. They came reccomended to us by a very trusted mechanic. We've now used them twice, and both experiences were positive. In our recent dealing, my vehicle neededmaintenance for a transmission light. After identifying the issue, they worked with the maker to explore recall support on my behalf. Every step of the way we found them affordable, friendly and professional, and very thorough. No one looks forward to experiencing car issues, but if we have them again we will absolutely be returning to Budget Transmission. The owner Bob was great to work with, and Andrew (who actually serviced our car) went above amd beyond to get everything handled well.Services: Transmission, Electrical

This place is amazing I was traveling the west coast heading to Georgia and my transmission went out. No other shop could help me , I was recommended by another shop to go here, I explained to them my problem and I was traveling to get to work, they treated me excellent, found me a transmission within a few hours, gave me a great price and also took me to my hotel, I highly appreciate and recommend them to anybody, great staff and service. This shop worked a miracle on this new years eve. The work cost an arm and a leg, however the chance of someone on new years eve sourcing a new transmission and installing it to get me back on my journey within 24 hours seems impossible. But they somehow managed it, and we're truly grateful. Great shop with great owners and knowledgeable staff, friendly as ever. Thank you

Would give this place ten stars if I could! In an emergency situation, they found time to have a very well-trained technician look at the car and fix the issue. Great shop. I was passing thru and needed a complete transmission installed. They found one and within 2 days I was on my way. They made it fast and headache free. Bob, Andrew and the crew are great people!
