Absolutely amazing service.I had another mechanic try to scam me out of over $3,000. The team working here showed me with pictures of the parts in question why they did or did not need replacement, and informed me fully on each piece.The customer service was wonderful, with their team being both nice and understanding of my needs.They were able to do maintenance same day as inspection in an fast turn around time while I was at work.I cannot recommend them enough, these people are honest and caring.

We brought in our vehicle for a second opinion and price quote for brakes. Initially we were informed that in order to get an accurate quote for brakes, we'd need to bring in our vehicle for a free brake inspection and free vehicle check. So we did. One of the techs called and said that we needed to have some type of coolant cap replaced as the previous one was leaking somewhere in the cooling system, and the cabin filter replaced. $200 later, there's a hum in the blower of our ac/heater system and a profuse leak coming from somewhere under our vehicle (it was not leaking at all, prior). Before we left I inquired if I need to top off the coolant, and their response was that they took care of it. After returning home, I checked to to ensure this was done, and the coolant was at the same level (I was later told by Browns that their ASE certified mechanics make no mistakes, and that an air pocket must have been in the cooling system).In all fairness, Browns followed up and asked us to bring in our vehicle the following day to address the issues. We decided not to, and will be looking elsewhere, since our main mechanic is retiring.

This business takes care of their customers, period. They go the extra mile to ensure that you leave their place extremely satisfied with how they ve treated you, and they do a stellar job fixing cars. Personally, brown s has gone above and beyond on two separate occasions for myself. Today, Robert and Mike, performed a service that was going to be quick to fix, and I left there without paying anything. What a wonderful way to be treated by a business, especially nowadays. Give brown s your business. I am certain you will be satisfied.

I recently moved to Albuquerque and family recommended Browns. My car is purring like a kitten. I had it towed to Browns when my car suddenly made sounds as if I was dragging something. There was nothing there.Browns ran a full diagnosis as well as a visual inspection. The dragging sounds were caused by a spring from my new (30 days earlier) installed brakes, sprung . The problem was fixed. They also provided me a full report about my car that is easy to understand, advising what is okay, what needs attention and what is critical and needs attention.I didn't feel like a victim as happens with some repair shops. I will not be go anywhere else.

Our van recently would not start. We looked around and decided to try Brown's for the first time. They do offer towing but I have AAA so I used that, also Brown's is a AAA certified shop. In less than a day we had a diagnosis of the problem and they had done a full safety inspection of the whole vehicle. An email and phone call to tell us what was wrong and what needed to be fixed and what could wait along with an estimate of all costs. Yes, it was more than expected but for all the work that was needed it was reasonable. I have had the same vehicle serviced at our local dealer, including safety inspections, within the last two years and paid more or the same. Even after they had finished the repairs. they still did one more thing to make sure our vehicle was right. I am very happy with the service provided and very happy with the repairs on our van. We have had this van for 15 yrs and now can keep it for about as long as we want. Thank you, Brown's, for a job, many jobs, well done. I recommend them with no reservations.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful with explaining everything that they found while working on my car. They took the time to answer any questions I had along the way and give recommendations on things the car might need but did not try upsell any unneeded services. Would highly recommend and will definitely continue business with them!

I just got a $50 gift card in the mail, and it reminded me how bad my experience was here that I won't even be paid to try them out again.I got service here about a year ago. First they charged me $120 just to diagnose a bad tire sensor when other locations do it for free, and then they told me it'd be about $250 to replace. (I ended up getting it done down the street for $75.) Then when I gave them feedback requested via an email survey, they said they'd make up for it by providing a free oil change. When I went for my "free" oil change (they told me they put a credit in the system for it), they still tried to charge me $20 as a remainder for it. The gal at the front desk was the one I had to keep interacting with during these experiences, and she was very rude with an impatient tone and ultimately told me she didn't want to argue over $20. I didn't either. But for some of us that means paying our bills or not. Brown's is not for those of us on a budget. My personal experience is that they simply try to get every cent they can and then some, which is why I won't be trapped by a supposed "$50 off" that could just lead me to more issues.

Brown Automotive turned my poorly Miata around in just a couple of days with a new AC compressor which is a complex job that involves taking apart a large portion of the front of the car. They got the parts in, completed the job and had the car ready in two days. I'm happy to report that the car is now running perfectly again. Highly recommended, professional and non-intimidating in their presentation and communication.Service: A/C installation & repair

I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The customer service I received both over the phone and in person was amazing, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. On top of that, the shop dog, Chancho the Boston Terrier kept me company while I waited for my oil change, which made an already great experience even better! I'll definitely be back!

I went to this location because it was nearby and a heard good things about it back in May 2023. I took my truck because it had the check engine light on. I explained to the sales rep about the issues I ve had thinking this would help. After I got my truck back, the engine light turned on again a few days later. I had to take it to another mechanic in order to get my issue solved and because I was afraid I was going to get charged an arm and a leg again. I wouldn t recommend this place if your are having an issue with your vehicle. They only switch out parts and don t do a good examination of the issue. If they had done a good examination of why the engine light was turning on, they could have solved the issue.

I drove in to Brown's with my undercarriage hanging loose. Staff was pleasant and professional, and Robert fixed it in 10 minutes! There was also NO CHARGE. I highly recommend Brown's!

Got broken down about an hour outside of Albuquerque. Got a tow truck to this shop, and they got me back on the road in less than 24 hours. I was moving states and had my entire life in the car, and they were able to help keep all my stuff safe. They had an incredible sense of urgency to help me get back on the road as quick as they could. The entire team was incredibly kind and helpful! Super thankful for all of them!

Shantel,Mike,Robert are the best people I met. They took very good care of my mini Cooper. Reasonable Pricing, Honest Opinions, Quality and Guaranteed Work!I go to Browns on Wyoming, Cliff, Dustin and all the guys there are amazing. They truly care not just about the cars, but the people that bring them in.... That's not really saying enough, but I only get so many characters! Thanks to all the fellas at the shop, I'm never worried when I have to drop Tali (my car) off and I know I'll be ready to roll when I get the "your all set" call!

I have used Brown's Automotive for several years to perform general maintenance and oil changes as well as fixing a broken latch on my hatchback. It is challenging to find a mechanic willing to work on a Volkswagen and after several terrible experiences at the local dealership, I am very happy Brown's is able to provide high quality, dependable, trustworthy service. The prices are fair but not cheap; however, I have been very pleased with the results and they are always transparent and honest about any questions or concerns I have. They are patient and take the time to explain the work they will do, as well as provide a video of the problems they find. I have had no trouble making an appointment or dropping in unannounced for emergency repairs.Highly recommended.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Worst mechanic experience of my life. Left oil spilled on my rug- when I mentioned it they said it was there before. Definitely was not. Rude, overcharged and did not even fix my car. Had to bring it to another mechanic after to fix what they messed up. Don t ever trust these people or bring your vehicles here.

I went to a place and they gave me this printout which is in green and red telling me it was going to cost $1,600 to repair I insisted to my husband that I wanted a second opinion so I went with the browns now look at their printout that they gave me that is so amazing having little arrows pointing to the problem pictures literally of my car I was completely amazed and being a female I finally found the best place anyone could take their vehicle to I completely recommend the browns for any automotive problem I have them fix some immediate attention problems that were listed and paid six fifty they are honest and fair price the best place in town to go toService: General repairs & maintenance
