Always a good experience at this location (Coors & I40) A super friendly knowledgeable staff! Great communication at letting you know the issues. They have never tried to oversell me. For my most recent visit I had wheel bearing failure when driving to Albuquerque for the holidays. Dropped off my vehicle the day after Christmas at 8am. My vehicle was reaby by 9:30 a m! From start to finish a good experience! I appreciate the staff's kindness and experience. The Holidays can be stressful enough without having car trouble trying to travel home. Thank you for keeping our vehicles safe! This is the only place I trust our vehicles to be worked on! She may be an oldie, but they keep her running great! Thank you again!

I do all of my general maintenance myself, but when I noticed warped rotors, I knew that I would need to take them somewhere to be checked out for resurfacing. I walked in bracing for the idea that replacement would be suggested. What I found was an incredibly helpful staff who inspected and measured the brakes and suggested that resurfacing would be very doable.Again, I didn't think replacement was out of the realm of possibility, but I just knew that a lot of shops will pretty much always go straight for the replacement option. It can be difficult finding places that will honestly assess the situation and help you make an informed decision.Ray and his team are honest, friendly, and did a great job. The car drives like a million bucks now. I am very satisfied and will absolutely be bringing my vehicles back in the future!

Same day service for front and rear brakes for my college student heading back to college. They found one other issue and notified me immediately. Fixed everything in 2 hours and reduced the price because the fix was easier than expected. Who does that these days? Great price, great communication, great service.

A friend highly recommended Brake Masters # 196 in Albuquerque (Coors and Quail NW near I-40) for a significant issue I was having with my car. I am most thankful and grateful to Jose, Advisor, Hector, Technician, Ray, Julian, Paloma and the staff for their honest and professional service. I am so grateful for their expertise, caring and exceptional customer service every step of the way to repair my car, so it is driving smoothly again! They also saw something else going on and gave a solid recommendation for the best next steps for my car to ensure my safety. The mechanics at Brake Masters #196 are the best I have ever had for my car, and I trust them and thank them so much!!!

I went to the store per an appointment that I set with them like 2 days before. All the personnel was confortable to deal with them.The car was check and review and I was advised I still brake pads for around a year.As a customer I appreciate the clarity and transparency from them.Very good customer experience.

Very fast, affordable and reliable service! I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 1130am, arrived 10 minutes early and they got my car in immediately and were finished in less than 30 minutes! Thank you to the guys at Coors site #196!

I had an issue with a radiator on my 2018 Ram! I called just they were opening up. I asked if they were able to take a look. We discovered the radiator was cracked and needed replacement. I asked how long would this take? We can have it done in 2 hours! I agreed and in 2 1/2 the job was completed. My truck is back on the road with out issues! Thank you very much!

Brake masters on coors n I 40 was amazing. My brakes and everything were totally ruined and in really bad shape. It was going to cost me over 1700 to fix. Having started two jobs and need my ride to continue working n supporting for my family. They were very understanding n kind to my needs. They worked with me n got me back on the road with having to pay over 1400. Made arrangements to take it back in two weeks later to fix the remainder of my issues. Thank you brake masters surely a recommended place to go. Thanks a bunch.

Made appointment the evening before for 10am the next day for an oil change. Arrived at 9:55 and car got pulled in just before 10am. All work was done, including free tire rotation with in 25 minutes. Was going to the BM on Alameda (NM 528) before, and stopped going there due to very uncooperative service regarding scheduling. This location is great! Will take my as well as family vehicles there again!

Took my car in around 8. Had a call by 9 with the issues. Approved the work. The car was done by 1. Fantastic service, explanation, and timing. I highly recommend Brake Masters on Coors near I-40!!!

Being a girl is hard when it comes to your vehicle, I went in Jose was awesome, was honest! And very helpful .. got my oil change done quick, all the employees super hard working, for all the young girls they do breaks oil changes idk what else but super easy and great experience :)

They charged me $500 and was suppose to replace my front rotors and brakes but NEVER replaced anything!! I am a single mother I take my daughter to school every day for them to be lazy. Very dissappointed.

I have been going here for a while now. I always have an appointment snd get my car in on time. Vince is what car service was like when I was growing up. Hknest, shows, you the problem, explains solution, and gives you the cost! Wow! This is what business is about. Thank you for keeping my car running great. Im at 96,000 and just had my 80, 000 mile tune-up. You guys and gals are AWESOME!!!

If there was a zero I would pick that!! I took a car there that was not leaking oil left after they replaced the oil plug. All the oil came out of my car. They're saying it wasn't their fault and want to charge me to fix it. No one knows what they are doing there very inexperienced personel. Its a scam so they can continue to make money off you. PLEASE I urge you do not take your car there. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I will be contacting and writing letters, they prey on seniors I've witnessed this first hand.

The gentleman at the front desk when I dropped off my car was very customer service oriented and attentive to the service that I was asking to be done my car.My appointment was at 10am and my car was ready by noon.The gentleman that checked me out had a dry sense of humor, kind of serious, but explained in detail the services rendered on my car.

They got us in almost right away. We felt they knew exactly what they were talking about and they even gave extra helpful recommendations. Highly recommend!EDIT: we just got a free estimate to fix up my step-son's car. This had to involve putting it on a lift. Sensible estimate, no charge for their time, these guys are awesome!

I have an Audi called the dealership to replace my front brakes. Dealership wanted $1400!! At Brake Masters Julian was amazing helped me with a great job done and half the cost!!! Thank you!

This was my 1st visit for service at Brake Masters. The dealership wanted an outrageous amount to do a power steering flush. I made an appointment online. I was greeted right away, checked in, and told what to expect. Service was quick, staff was friendly and professional. The gentleman who helped me, you can tell he was knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. This was reassuring that I was getting great service.

Jose and the crew have been nothing but patient on the repair of an old Kia Spectra purchased for a foster kid. Unfortunately, I purchased the car with several problems. I'll always turn to these guys because they have the customer in mind always.

I walked into the shop and greeted the old man with a pleasant 'good morning'. However, the response I received in return was far from courteous - just a casual "what's up". When I inquired about the installation fees for break pads, he rudely stated that they first needed to inspect the vehicle. I reiterated my question, only wanting a straightforward answer, but he decided to respond angrily, quoting an exorbitant price of $220 per axle. At this point, I was extremely displeased by his rude behavior and felt that he had no regard for customer satisfaction. I resolved not to do business with such a shady and disrespectful individual.

I thought I needed new brakes but they were honest and said they were good even though I bought the pads beforehand. They did a diagnostic and did an oil change very pleased they were honest
