The employees here are awesome! The line moved quickly in a matter of 2-3 minutes. They ran a diagnostic for my check engine light and found out that I just needed a new gas cap. I was so worried that something serious was wrong with my car, but the fix was simple and inexpensive. The employee helped me find the right gas cap too. Thanks guys!

I didn't catch his name. But I consider him my angel. A young guy with wavy hair stood out in the freezing rain with me to help me fix my headlights and front blinker. During bad weather conditions you need those things. I was on my trip to see my parents 50 miles out west of Albuquerque. He saved me. I appreciate him as a girl that knows nothing about cars. Thank you.

Staff is knowledgeable. Their website said that I needed a different set of brake pads. I went into the store to buy them, and the employees told me that I actually needed a different set of pads. I purchased them and double-checked with the website. It said that the pads I purchased were not compatible with my vehicle. I was skeptical, but when I installed them they were the correct part. It would have been a hassle if I would have purchased them online from most sellers.

Man, if I had to take up at all your time I would say it all.. in short I was a victim of domestic violence I showed up in a car with almost no gas that refused to keep starting.. I have 50$ to my name and I came in with the intention to purchase a battery charger which was exactly 49.99$ I m left wondering how I will put gas and feed my son.. I explained the situation to Adrian Roger and Adrian took care of me cleared the corrosion off my cables and installed the battery correctly. If not for them.. I don t know where I would be now thank you greatly I will always pay it forward

I went to this location 2 weeks ago to get a new battery for my car because mine was bad. Upon spending $230 for a new battery, I asked if they put the new battery in and the large guy that helped me said "No we don't switch out batteries when they are that corroded". Mind you I am a very petite woman that had no tools or anything with me and my car died when I got there so I needed a jump-start from them to be able to leave and he still didn't switch out my old battery knowing full well I would be stranded the next time I turned my car off. I went straight to the Autozone on Quail Rd. NW and they thought it was outrageous that the man did not switch out my battery for me and they switched it out right away and said that is one of the reasons people buy batteries from Autozones is because they switch them out for you. I will never be visiting the 8820 Montgomery location again but will always go to the 5700 Quail location from now on.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the level of customer service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. I visited your store location off Montgomery between Wyoming and Eubank and unfortunately encountered several issues that left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I walked in and asked for information on a car battery. I then asked if I could get some help installing it. The employee then looked at another employee and said no because there s just a few of us working and they needed to attend to the other customers. (Mind you I walked in and they were on their phones and standing around the computers up front.) He then advised me to go to another location that they would be able to assist me there. I said okay and walked out. I will NEVER come back to this location again!!! I ended up going to San Mateo and Montgomery location which was a 5 star location!!!!! Ask for Daniel S!!! He is amazing!!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience and the lack of care and attention given to my concerns. As a loyal customer, I had high expectations for the level of service I would receive, and unfortunately, those expectations were not met. I would appreciate a response from your team regarding this matter and what steps will be taken to ensure that other customers do not have similar negative experiences in the future. I would also like to know what actions will be taken to address the specific issues I encountered.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to hear from you soon.

I once again received incredible customer service from store manager named Roger, along with store associate named Anthony. Roger always makes the time (no matter how busy the store is) to help each and every customer locate the correct parts on the computer or items within the store. He is always willing to share his vast knowledge and repair advise, all while exuding a genuine, calm and composed demeanor. I would also like to acknowledge Anthony, who overheard my conversation with Roger and took it upon himself to search the correct brake caliper for my application and pull it off it the shelf, just so I could determine the correct size of the bleed nipple. This above and beyond customer service is nearly unheard of in my experience. These guys are the very best in the city and should be recognized as such; with a pay increase or bonus or lunch or all of the above. Thank you Roger and Anthony for a job very well done.

They definitely know how to do their due diligence and delegate if needed. thank you very much AutoZone off of Montgomeryanother day review or Update still five stars!!My 1st go-to place for my Chrysler Pacifica 2004 & Buick LaSabre 1996. thank you for always being so kind, Very helpful in knowledge very helpful in a good nudge to us guy's that are do it yourselfers cause we're not made of gold or a millionaires. from the store manager to every single person working in-house and the parts they're providing to all of us. otherwise we'd be paying a fortune to car garages.I'm an installer for SWVinyl and i tow with this vehicle it's my duty and lively hood to keep it running and AutoZone the place of choice for me.I can list off all the things I've purchased and need to do myself but it would be long list I'll say I've saved a sheeze load of money.Justin CramDyingJedi

Gosh the elder gentleman working Here was so sweet, I love going into an autoshop a d being talked to like a regular person, and not like I'm dumb cause I'm a female. Both workers were super tolerant of my hyper active son, and kindly declined the tip he tried to give them for "fixing mommies battery". And they didn't charge me a cent to charge it. I will gladly pay more to buy what I need if it means I can trade Walmarts customer service for these guys.

I am beyond impressed with this AutoZone. Staff is very knowledgeable and appear to be seasoned in their field. I was helped by Kasey and Roger today in testing, charging and replacing our battery and they were both beyond helpful and very trust worthy. I actually live a block away from the AutoZone on Paseo but have had less than great experiences there. It's because of Kasey and the entire staff at the Montgomery location, I will always come here! I have been helped by Kasey in the past and the experience has been consistent!!

Idk what it is about autozone but they literally have the best customer service compared to any service industry franchise. Dominick(I think that was his name, he s the cute one) was so nice and helpful. The same day delivery service is also super convenient. 10/10

My check engine light popped on and I am from Michigan. So I went to the closest Auto Zone to have my car scanned. Nick is the person who helped me. He was very helpful and genuinely cared about why the check engine light was on. He spend almost 1 hour on my car. He is a great customer service person and has a great attitude. He REALLY cares about his customers and it shows. Thank you Nick for caring, and I will be back.

As others have said, Nick F was phenomenal. Both my wife and I had excellent experiences on separate occasions in which Nick F cheerfully helped us with our cars batteries and electrical issues. He embodies he saying of putting the customer first. Thank you! Great experience! He deserves a raise!

Very dissatisfied with the service today (9/4/22) at 10:00 am. I went in for a battery check, to purchase a battery and an installation of the battery. I had looked online and on the app to ensure that the battery was at the location, when I arrived the inventory stated that there were 3 in stock. The battery(s) were sold out, and the staff member said this always happens . There were two staff members working and only one was assisting customers. The staff member said he would not even be able to take out my old battery and replace it with the new battery, if I was to buy a more expensive battery, which I was going to do because I was in desperate need of a battery. I will not be returning to this location.

The young man doing diagnostics outside put my new steering wheel cover on for me! What a gentleman!..Great Customer Service as well!.. Was greeted at the door and did not have to wait in line. Decent prices as well...but loses a star for having to possess a rewards card to receive the deals.

I bough a battery here today. It was listed at $120, but they price matched me down to under $50! Manager and tech (The one who did the install) were very friendly. Great service. I will definitely come here again.

This store used to be amazing. Now it's gone WAY downhill. Stood at the register for 10min and finally had to go ask the employee stocking in the aisle to come help us. Totally ignored us even though he saw us. Didn't greet us. Had a bad attitude about checking us out.

Bought a catalytic converter and muffler for my 92 GMC truck. None on site. Coming in from Dallas in 5 days. Exact fit. Well, hope so. I checked with Midas for complete exhaust..$1200 to start. I said no. Great guys that work there at O'Reilly. No photo because I don't have the parts yet.

I just have to share the experience i had here. I have/had a squeaky belt and went to the store. The female manager greeted me with a smilelistened to me explain what was going on then helped me find what i needed and even helped me fix my belt noise. What service!! Thank you so much for your help. I wish i would have gotten her name.

Note: I used to work here, so take this review with a grain of salt.All the employees are friendly and helpful, even if things slow down when busy. Ask for Shawn, Holly, or Pat if you require some out-of-the-box thinking, but everyone can help with most everything.Deals and discounts are a regular occurrence, with bundles usually having the best discounts (often 50+%). They'll put air filters in and windshield wipers on free of charge, but expect to wait a while if they're busy.

I like to see women working in a field that is normally dominated by men. This store has at least 2 women working there. The one I asked to help me was very knowledgeable about what I asked for and I walked away a happy customer....well, w the service I received, not the fact that I found out my truck has something else wrong w it and I have to spend more money to get it fixed. But I will go back for sure!

Employee was helpful for info on tool kit rental. If you didn't know, the "free" tool rental is buy first then return. I'm okay with it, but an inexperienced person might think it is a gratis tool lending program..
