This place is hands down my go-to! They fixed my truck stereo quickly and expertly. I took my other car to get a new radio installed and they did another amazing job! The work was very professional, very fast, and very competitive. The staff is awesome!

Great service from Ben helping me identify all of the components necessary to update the car stereo system. Quick turnaround for parts the had to order in for the custom job. Great install by Adam that looks and sounds awesome.

Branden was super helpful and nice when I first went into the store. He happily sold me the viper alarm and arranged to install it the next day. I have an older truck and asked him about a remote start and he told me he could do that for me. He said as it was a carbureted vehicle it would be hit or miss starting in colder weather which I understand.The reason I m giving a one star rating is the way he spoke to me when I called the store back because the remote start wouldn t work even when the truck was well warmed and should work. He became loud, disrespectful, and argumentative, telling me I told you countless times that it would be hit or miss . Which is not true!! Totally unprofessional. I understand that the remote start may not work well in colder weather, but to not work at all is not acceptable. The one star rating is for the accusatory unprofessional behavior. Don t take your vehicle here.

After having a few less than stellar interactions with the east side AE I chose to give my business to the west side location. The manager brandon along with Adam - the head installer took very good care of me and righted a few wrongs that had happened across town. I wasn t sure who to trust with my Tesla as not many individuals within Albuquerque had any knowledge of them but I knew Adam would do his research before simply diving in as if it was just another install . Thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and desire to make what was a childish experience/situation with the San Mateo location and turn it into a very positive interaction.

Brandon and his team listened to my requirements and suggested the best device to meet my expectations. The installation was quick and neat. The personal guidance and hand holding by Brandon after install was beneficial in understanding the setup and features of the Momento M7 dashcam. I recommend Audio Express.

My experience was to say the least unpleasant. Customer service felt like I did not belong there as a customer. Very little sales skill a bit belittling because of my knowledge on audio. Still purchased a new deck and install. Also had a hide a sub that was previously installed by audio express, I paid for installation and they couldn t figure out how to get sound and still charged full price for installation. Not happy that the so called experts couldn t do this simple task for a simple subwoofer. I explained that they maybe need to splice into the speaker wires for the sub. Response was no we don t do that. So all in all I have to figure this out myself. Thanks

Ben was my Salesman and he was professional & courteous beyond measure. My Wife & I were headed out of town and I left my vehicle with him and it was done the day we got back. In my experience buying things or doing business in Albuquerque it s usually a total nightmare. It s usually zero customer service, ghetto, or just downright rude. That will NOT be your experience at Audio Express! So if you re looking for a Clean Earthshaking System go see my man Ben at Audio Express! I took my 05 Sierra 2500 in for a remote start system and they were able to turn it around same day. Very helpful and friendly, I would recommend them.

Absolutely awful!!!! Don t bother taking your vehicle here. I purchased a remote start and they installed the wrong one and insisted that they installed the correct one. Now, like two or three years later it malfunctions. They expect you to just blindly drop off your car with them all day and they can t give you a time that you can pick it up. Also, appointments are made for a reason Not to be told oh, there s two cars we didn t finish yesterday, so your appointment is basically being pushed back

I went in in and was sold a $250 radio w/o Bluetooth., and paid almost $800. When I went to pickup I told them this is not the radio I wanted, and was told it would cost me an additional $200. I went in the next day and told them I wanted a Bluetooth, and was not going to pay the additional. The apparent manager and employee were arguing with each other about it, and was finally told they were not going to do anything. I sent a text message to number on the website with no response. I am currently looking for what legal avenues to pursue. Horrible, the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

So the service seemed great at first, but went down hill quick.I was just getting a new touch screen for my 2011 Volkswagen Golf and I was disappointed with the outcome.First off when I started asking questions I got a lot of we can't do this we can't do that. This should have been a red flag. One of my questions was... my car came with a Bluetooth receiver already installed so I asked instead of wiring the new radio system to a new external mic could we wire it to the mic already in the car. I got a flat out no with this and was fairly disappointed.My biggest issue came with the usb wire for connection from my phone to the radio system. I was very specific that I did not want any wires hanging out of an panels. I have two usb adapter plug ins just below the dash and asked if we could install the usb plug into one of those that already exist. I got a hesitant, we will try, but probably no. The sales rep then suggested that I do a 12volt adapter and I said that would be great if we could not do the install into the original USB ports. He then told me he would call me if they were not going to be able to do the usb cable.So today I dropped off the car with high hope and never got a call for anything. After about three hours I called them back just to check on it and they told me the vehicle was almost done. Once I arrived I asked assuming yes because I never got a call, if they were able to install the usb into the existing ports. They said they weren't and then asked if I wanted to install the 12 volt conversion. I said yes and was confused why they hadn't already given that I really didn't want any open wires. They said okay but then couldn't fit it back in today which meant I had to come back and pay for them to take apart the dash and everything again. This was extremely disappointing seeing how the build was already costing me 600 and didn't even include speakers. I have done previous builds with speakers for 600 and I thought this was a huge price to pay to not even receive what I was looking for to begin with.I then received my car and saw that they had put the usb plug in wedged almost under the passenger seat coming out of the plastic. I then called someone to test the mic and they reported that the mic was repeating everything that they said back to them making it hard for them to understand me.Honestly if I had paid a teenager to do this install I would have thought they had done a great job, but I was highly disappointed with this professional companies work and the money I paid for the whole thing. 10/10 would recommend either doing the work yourself or going to another shop. I will be having another shop see if they can fix my mice and install the 12 volt conversion or hopefully USB adapter for me in the future and won't be bringing my vehicles back for any further work.

Watch out I paid $1400 plus to have a stereo that you can t watch dvds paid extra for a switch to bypass never installed left in my cup holder broke my dash broke both door panels can t unlock my door from outside with the key just spent over $700 to order the dash bezel and door panels have to go to the store on San Matteo to fix the stereo problem this sux never again

I had an incident with my door and it was damaged badly. After the body shop was working on my door the stereo system stopped working. I took it in to see what was wrong and the manager Brandon helped me out with getting everything taken care of and then some.

I had to edit my review . after getting my Linkswell gen4 installed on my 2028 f250I ve got a lot of things upgraded to my radio .This guys did a great job installing itAnd the radio is amazing you can do so many things with it !!

I had to update my review because I am honestly impressed and happy with my install. I got a head unit and subwoofer that sound amazing in my vehicle. I did have an issue with the radio but I let them know about it and they fixed it very quickly and everything works very well.Damien helped me with picking out my system and answering questions about the install. He was professional and informative and I will be recommending to friends.

This review is overdue - but I would like to recommend this place as I had 2 - subwoofers installed with a shallow box that fit perfectly behind my rear seats. In addition to that added 2 amps to give it right power while keeping my stock SYNC head unit. Thanks Felix, Damian and their techs for making this happen.

I explained to the store representative what my needs were for a car alarm due to my car was stolen but was blessed with the police finding my car with absolutely no damages to my car. I explained that I have had my car for 20 years and is like a best friend to me. They were very understanding and caring about my needs. The rep. Was able to provide me with an alarm that alerts me when the alarm goes off and where on my car they could be trying to get into. The alarm also has a kill switch which can't be disabled without the key pad. I was able to make an appointment with a few hours of installation. My alarm has gone off twice and I must say it is extremely loud and I was able to make sure my car was secured when my key pad alerted me. Thank you very much for helping me with my needs! I truly appreciate it

If they had a way to give these guys 10 starts I would! They have worked on 2 very extensive custom projects for me to perfection! First - they work with you on design and cost of what you are wanting to accomplish and give you the best options for your budget. Ben is great at making sure you get the most for your money and Adam makes sure it is installed perfect and is better than when you dropped it off!! Our first main project - an FJ Cruiser for my son, rides as quiet as a Lexus, and has a true audiophile sound system. The second project, a 2022 Bronco, solves all the problems you would ever want - it is now quite to drive at highway speeds, and the sound system is integrated into the factory unit, but is now audiophile quality! If you want the best - go see these guys!!!! I will get pictures up of both soon!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We had paid for an alarm system. They even charged us an extra $100 at the time for in case which we understood since it was a 2000 truck. We had been calling all day to check the status and see when it would be ready. They were rude and just kept saying later . Then 30 minutes before close, they called to say it was done, but they had to do a whole bunch of extra things to the truck to make it work, now all of a sudden it s another $200. We asked who approved that. They told us no one, but they did it anyways and wouldn t release our vehicle to us until it was paid. They also said we had to be there within ten minutes cause their payment portal would shut down earlier than they close. Don t go there unless you re willing to get scammed out of $300 you didn t approve.

I worked with Brandon at the Albuquerque Westside store. He was very knowledgeable and helpful on selecting an alarm, remote start, and sound system for my truck. My only complaint is that he assured me that they could complete the install in one day. It actually took 2 full days. Fortunately my friend was able to let me stay another night at their house. So far, impressed with everything except that my done light no longer operates when I open the doors, and the proximity sensor to unlock the truck automatically works intermittently.
