I talked to Billy about wanting a motor replacement cost before I even brought it into him. I mentioned i could buy a motor and just put it in myself because he used to visit my nieghbor and i build cars. He said no worries let me look into it but bring it on by so i did. It was spitting oil out the exhaust so it could only be head or rings. They had it for a long time and eventually I got a price of way over double what we talked about what it could cost. I went and picked it up. They charged me a few hundred dollar diagnostic fee just to tell me it needed a new motor. I had said that from the beginning. Some times you just have to stick with your gut. I had him work on a machine before and it was a little expensive but i figured it is what it is. Just read the reviews.

This place is GOD SENT! They are honest and ACTUALLY help people! I called literally every other place in albuquerque which works on small engines NOT one would even look at the issue I was having! I would trust them over ANY other shop in the city!

Not sure how they can do anything better! Always take good care of us. Competitive lead times already, however they do offer an expedited fee option too. I have used them for yearly oil, filters, and blade service as well as repairs.

This place is a joke!! After ripping me off and selling me a $50 chainsaw chain, he tried to get me to bring my saw in for a upgrade that no real stihl dealer thinks is necessary. Me and my trusted stihl dealer had a good laugh at this joke, and by the way he new I was in a pinch and needed the chain so he doubled the price. I'll never do business with these clowns again. I'm telling you my friend don't do it!!

My mother in law needed a new blade on her lawnmower. They then tried to scam her into believing she needed more than just a blade. My fianc� already checked it to make sure nothing else was wrong with it before it was taken to their shop. The receptionist is very rude and very unpleasant and absolutely unprofessional. She was snarky and yelled at both my mother in law and my fianc� when they refused more services on the lawnmower. Then the receptionist hung up when she was called out on how unprofessional she was being. What a shame that this is how your local business is run. Pretty disappointing.

We were passing through Alberquerque on our cross country trip when suddenly, our predator generator we use for RVing, just up n died. We paid these folks $400 to clean the gunk out of our carburator and fix it. It ran for 6 hours and then died COMPLETELY. We were stuck in 106 degree heat. Wasted money.

Rescued ! The shop in the heights where I have taken my Tractor for yearly maintenance for 2 years could not fit me in and it needed some repairs to the blades .I called Albuquerque 's Best and they were more than happy to come and pick it up and get it repaired Pronto ! Very knowledgeable mechanics.My Tractor came back to me Fixed ,Cleaned and Sounds better than the other company had it Purring .I highly recommend them to be your go to Company when you need help or service.I did !FANTASTIC JOB !

Needed a rare bolt drove all the way into ABQ to them hoping that they had it. Well..... They had to order it BUT in the meantime they took one off another machine so I didn't leave empty handed.Great folks! Go see em..

I took in my two year old Echo blower in on Dec 13 because it wouldn't start. On Dec 21 a man called with an estimate of $120 for full routine service but he didn't tell me why it wouldn't start. I had checked the air filter, fuel filter and drained the old gas and put in new gas before I took it in so I declined the service. When I picked it up they charged me $39.17 for the estimate. When I balked they pointed out the statement on the ticket I had signed that gave a minimum charge of $36.50 for an estimate. Embarrassed that I had signed without reading I paid, purchased a new spark plug and borrowed a wrench to install it. I give them credit for lending me a tool but I believe they should have pointed out the charge for the estimate when they had me sign, since they were charging me for the estimate they should have told me what they found - if anything, they should have given me a copy of what I had signed instead of just a claim strip, and it shouldn't have taken them from Dec. 13 to Dec. 21 to call me.

Took my Ryobi blower in for an estimate. After 2 weeks and 2 days they had not check it out. When Iwould call for status update the front desk lady would snarl and snap because of the inquiry. We will get to it when we can was always her reply. I took it to another repair show and they fixed a plugged fuel line and charged me $25 and it took 3 days. Alan

bad attitude on the phone don't know how to talk to customers on the phone I ask for just one blade replacement said there gona have to do two blades there nothing wrong try to do more work to it but the lady up front is unprofessional made me mad so she hung up on me and I tried calling back they do not answer the phone I will report them

so far so good I just dropped off a roadkiller to have worked on some change for the chainsaw to be sharpened we'll see how good a job they do.so far I've had no problem with the workthey h ave done for me so far

Not too good. I know the lead mechanic knows his stuff, but the woman up front way overcharges and doesn't have a handle on customer service. Too bad. I took quite a few machines there for repair, but she got to me for the last time.

I take sever things are over period of time.and the only reason I have to go back is cuz I loaned the rototiller lawn mower or something to one of my neighbors they're good they're close and they don't have a fancy new building it looks like a good place that would work on stuff

Bad business, Billy the owner tried to charge me 150 bucks for a new battery on machine I had in for service, swore the battery was bad, I drove 45 minutes to check on the battery that I had purchased recently and went to have it tested, battery was good, this place will scam you and waste your time beware.

This place a very horrible business they have horrible customer service the lady that answers the phone calls is very rude especially to my co worker they had our engine there about 4 months with no updates we had to constantly call and they never answered or they always had an excuse apparently they're always at lunch during the time we call them and they never get back to us on phone calls or emails so I would not recommend taking your stuff to them.

Parts are Parts find them where you can I needed a needle and seat for a obsolete Mercury outboard motor the lady behind the counter CrossFit with a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower motor needle and seat that works like new and gave me a part number for future reference okay so what it might have been a couple of bucks more but I got what I needed to get on the lake and other shops wouldn't even look at it

We've taken our epuipment there for years and not once had a problem.those techs no there stuff and understand if there is a wait.i recommend there service's to anyone that asks.come on people give them a break .

Kept my lawnmower for almost 4 weeks.never fixed it. Every time I called they were "working on it" but would never call me back. Rude staff as well. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Have been to other shops in ABQ and to ABQ's Best and they have given me the most reliable and friendly service so I only go to them now. Costs are about the same as elsewhere.

Ask for a simple engine repair cost and the boss could not even say what it may cost.
