Brought my 2015 F-350 in for a radiator issue. JR's replaced the water pump and radiator hose. I thought they had done a great job, they even said they found some places where bolts were missing and replaced them. However, when my truck broke down in Albuquerque a day later (unrelated issue), the Ford dealership mechanic said the water pump wasn't installed correctly. 2 bolts were missing, and 3 weren't fully installed. When I called JR's to ask them to take care of it, Mandy said I had to bring it back to them, which is fair enough. However, the truck isn't driveable, especially for over 3 hours to get back to Alamogordo. She said I could have it towed back, which is completely unreasonable. I had pictures, along with a certified Ford dealership mechanic saying there was an issue, and Mandy wasn't willing to work with me at all. I'm disappointed about the poor workmanship, and even more disappointed about the customer service.

Awesome place.Came in for an oil change, and everyone up there was super friendly and helpful; the entire atmosphere is nice.Got the job done for a good price and pretty quick too.I ll definitely go back whenever my car needs work.

Very unimpressed.Went for an alignment. On my drive home noticed that it was pulling right and steering wheel was off-center a decent amount.(Tires are brand new so that wasn't a part of the problem)When I garaged the car , I could visibly see the front and back toe along with front camber were uneven..I brought it to a different shop to have it checked out and was told who ever did the alignment previously did a garbage shotty job.I wasn't given a print out of the alignment before or after and I see why.Money's gone, but maybe this review will save someone else time and money.

Super Honest! I went in for my ac and they were fast and honest about the cost and time it will take. A older lady was there as well and it was so great to see them being honest with her and letting her know that they could guess and through big prices and parts at her bit that they don't lie just to sell and make money. They strive to always be honest!

I discovered I had a leak from my transfer case while traveling through this area. I googled shops and saw this shop had great reviews. I called and spoke to Mandy and told her what I needed. She called me back with a quote for parts and service, then stated they could get me in first thing in the morning. Josh (owner) took great care of me. Thanks so much!!

They tried charging me $400 for a OEM fuel pump on a 99 suburban. It didn't sound right to me so I got one from AutoZone and asked him if I could bring the parts. They said yes but they wouldn't warranty it if something went wrong. Suspicious. Magically the day after they changed it my fuel pump went out again. Instead of dropping my tank my neighbor helped me cut an access panel under my carpet. Lo and behold they didn't connect the only electrical connection fully. The only thing they had to do was snap it in and verify that it was in. They thought that I was so stupid that I was just going to bring it back. Good try Junior I was an aircraft mechanic in the Marines.

Such a great shop. They were a life saver. Blower motor for the A/C went out in my car (it's the middle of summer, 100�+ daily), and I originally called Nissan in Las Cruces to see about getting it fixed. The Nissan dealership wanted to charge me $375 for the blower motor alone, plus another $400-$500 for the labor. I knew that sounded absolutely insane, so I went ahead and bought the blower motor myself from Advanced for $95, then called JR's, and I'm so glad I did. They got it done within an hour and a half, and charged me less than what the Nissan dealership was trying to charge me for the blower motor alone. They also replaced the air filter on top of it. JR's is definitely my new go-to for anything I'll need done with my car. On top of the great work, they were super chill and all-around great people. I can't give them enough praise. These guys are great. We were travelling and needed an oil change. They fit us in right away. Nice big shop, very friendly down to earth people. I would highly recommend them whether you are just passing through or live locally!

I was here visiting family in my motorhome when the battery started acting up. I took it to JR's and they were extremely helpful. They diagnosed that the battery was dead and were able to get me a brand new one within a couple of hours as the old one was still under warranty. I was so impressed with their friendliness and willingness to help me out and it didn't cost me a penny. Prior to going to JR''s I had visited several other shops in town and none of them were able or willing to help. When I first called I asked if they had towing service because my 95 trooper has not started in a few years. And I was giving a number and within 30 mins the towing service showed up, was quick with getting my vehicle on the bed and getting it to the shop. I later showed up at the shop to give my information and because how popular the shop is, I was told it would be a few days before anyone could get to it. I explained what took part before my vehicle broke down and the response I was given made me confident I picked the right shop to fix my baby. ( I was told when we start it, not when we get it started). That let me know whatever the problem is it will not be long before my baby is back on the ride again. I pray. It s taken me a hot minute to write this review and I apologize for that. The team at JRs was absolutely amazing with my car and tight time constraints. They provided incredible customer service and took care of my needs with a speed and passion that will be hard to match. And when a part they changed didn t do what it needed to, they got me in that day, replaced the wonky part, and had me take their information in case I had any further problems while traveling. I cannot express the amount of customer service this team has. They surpass anyone that s ever worked on any of my cars in my life.

JR's was incredible. They were able to get my truck in and fixed in a few days compared to the months I spent trying to get it fixed. Not even the Dodge dealership in town could figure out the problem and wanted me to replace the engine. The final cost was a few hundred bucks compared to the $8,000 I would have laid for a new engine. I fully recommend you visit his shop first!

Josh is an awesome dude. His prices are fair and he gets your car back to you very quickly. I just got here a couple of weeks ago and he's already fixed three problems on my car. Definitely would recommend coming here for your car needs.

Got my Wife's car aligned with them. Didn't realize the trailing arm had broken off on the right rear tire. I worked with Josh, he was very knowledgeable, professional and honest. It's hard to come by honest mechanics these days, but he really delivered on his promise. The parts store took a bit to get Josh my part, but as soon as they did, he got the part on and our car back to us the next day. He did excellent work, we're very thankful for his service. Definitely recommend his shop to anyone in need of alignments.

Solid shop! My car was having some issues and I took it in. They let me know what the issue was very fast they were unable to get the part because Dodge is not friendly. They ended up saving me a ton of money. Will definitely recommend!

Great local repair shop. Respectful and reasonable, the only minor complaint I have is a lack of communication, but it was exceptionally busy when I took my car to get the head gaskets replaced. I will be bringing my car back in the future

JR's Auto was recommended to me 3 years ago when I moved to Alamogordo and I'm so glad it was. Josh and his team are honest, do great work and are very fair with their prices! As a single woman, I truly value those traits in a mechanic. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this place to any and everyone. They were very professional, caring, knowledgeable and friendly. They looked at my car because I am moving out of town and they made me feel right at home.If you want to find a honest, professional and knowledgeable auto shop. I would highly recommend them.

Didn't have an appointment but I dropped my truck off unannounced and without calling. Had a idle issue and just asked them to troubleshoot.Low and behold it was my PCM but they didn't upcharge me nor try and shoot around the problem of that specific component. They just gave me the reality of the fix and honest what they would do with it.They also had alot of of different makes and models already there as they are busy i was sure, so they seem versatile and knowledgeable. Definitely don't mind their professionalism and experience and will be back for upgrades after the fix.

Had the resonator cut out on my truck and a muffler put in. The piping that they replaced was a smaller diameter than the rest of the factory exhaust, I m not sure why they did that.Seem like a bunch of nice guys but I wouldn t recommend them for exhaust work.Service: Exhaust
