Best little gem! This general store has friendly and helpful staff, a variety of foods, wines, fishing supplies, and unique gifts for anyone. The small Cafe has the best burritos and variety of fresh salads and NM cuisine at affordable prices. You have to stop to appreciate this place.

Very unique general store, I love stopping by here every time I travel through Abiguiu. They have everything from fresh fruits to liquor. Bode's offers pre-made food. The burritos are horrible, if your hungry, try the grill outside.

A great place to get supplies, sandwiches and fuel before heading out to explore the Rio Chama River backcountry. Just around the bend from Georgia O'Keeffe Welcome center. Friendly staff, awesome snacks!!

Awesome convenience store.... But, so much more. Lots of organic/ gluten free choices on grocery items. Even a small produce section and very fun gift shop section. Small but carefully chosen beer and wine selection. Kitchen with amazing premade food choices. So fun to stop in!!

One of the coolest little country stores you'll ever stop at.. don't pass it up! Dry goods, groceries, hot and cold food, wine, baked goodies, fishing supplies, gas, etc can be found here. It looks unassuming from the outside but as soon as you enter you'll see..

I've been driving through Abiquiu to Ghost Ranch since the 70's. Not sure when I first remember going to Bode's but I was probably 5 or 6 years old and the old lady in front of me at the check out counter turned around and started asking me questions, "How old are you?" "Where are you from?" When she left, the clerk said, "sonny, you remember this day, that was Georgia OKeefe and she doesn't always talk to strangers."We stop here all the time for a burger and fries or enchiladas or a chicken sandwich. You can get just about anything you need from fishing lures to a bottle of wine or a frying pan or vegetables. Buy a pie while you're here or fresh roasted coffee.

Only stopped here for a bathroom break. Bathroom acceptable. Very busy with crazy parking and people that drive and park rudely. Watch closely when in parking lot. Daughter almost got ran over in broad daylight.

The best breakfast burritos around, A definite stop anytime im in the area. And they have Posa's tamales. Won't find anything better in that part of the state, maybe even the whole state..

I used to love coming to Bode's for the breakfast burritos and green chile cheeseburgers. Now it appears that the kitchen is closed for orders and they only sell pre-made food held in coolers or warming trays. No thanks. For groceries and other supplies, however, they are the best in this area.

A fun place to stop! We got an awesome Yetti lunch bag here for our day trips in the truck. The lunch area smelled great but we did not eat there. The ice cream store next door was great but a little expensive at $3.50 for one scoop.

We came for the breakfast burritos (which were delicious), but there was so much more going on here! The store was great! Had tons of fun stuff, groceries, amazing looking salads and sandwiches, and, my favorite, tamales! The tamales were so good!! The staff was very friendly too! Highly recommend!

Good place to get essentials. Cafe closes a little too early though. Get there early for the good stuff.

I am sorry to report that I got sick yesterday about noon within an hour after eating a breakfast burrito. It was one of the red sausage egg cheese ones. I ate it between Abiqui and Espanola. It was tasty and I had almost all of it. The reaction began on the relief route around Santa Fe. I guess thie post does not help anyone who ate the rest of the batch but I just made the connection. Perhaps Bodes's needs to tighten up their food handling procedures like preparation or keeping warm food with eggs hot?I have stopped at Bode's for years and often buy their prepared food since they expanded the selection 5? years ago. I'm sorry to have to report this.

Stopped in this store in New Mexico. If you need gas you better stop. The distances between gas stations is limited in this part of the country. They had food, snacks, and souvenirs. Friendly staff. It's the locals store as well.

Your coffee used to be great....what happened. No silk creamer and it was too weak. Not worth the price.

Great selection of food, drinks, snacks, produce as well as various camping necessities and even gift items. There was also a very helpful associate who was kind and helped us find a tarp. I appreciate that this had healthier options than your average gas station. Lovely!

We ve been stopping at Bodes for several years on our travels. Always enjoy this pit stop and the surrounding beauty of Abiquiu is breathtaking. Two of the things we really have looked forward to however have deteriorated greatly - the breakfast burritos and the coffee. Had both today and am regretting it very much. How they ll improve their quality because the breakfast and coffee has been a draw.
