It s rare to find an honest, ethical car repair business that doesn t try to overcharge or do work that isn t required. Dave s is that rare gem. He gives fair pricing, honest assessments, and all the staff are extremely kind. For local folks they even offer to give you a ride home!

They did a great job on my car a they were able to make the needed repairs in a nominal time so I wasn't without my vehicle for to long. They were able to keep cost within the estimate. Costs of auto repairs have gone up quite a bit, since Covid, and for seniors it can be a shock. The folks at Dave's, try to do everything possible to keep prices in check and hope they continue to do so in the future! Recommend and appreciate their honesty!

My first time at this place and I m glad that I chose it! All the staff were extremely professionally and amicable. The job was done in a timely and perfect manner. The prices are more than fair and reasonable compared to other repair facilities. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a honest and good auto repair shop! Thanks ,Felix

Dave and his crew are the best in the business. Wonderful people , true, and honest ! Masters at their craft with really carrying service from everyone. My New mechanic for life. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I would really rate every employee there 10 's above and beyond. It was My Mom and I second visit and was Valentine's day. Dave to a moment of his time to come into the office and get two flowers out of the office bouquet and gave them to my Awesome Mother. How incredible and kind though it was. It warms my heart and gives me more faith there is enough good people to pull together and make a world spinning out of control a better place! Thank you so much!! Reception was very professional in making sure customers concerns and their car is defined accurately to each mechanic.Mechanics are respectful and really listen to concerns of each customer.So, No matter who you speak to in Whiting, Daves Village Auto Repair is highly recommended.

The is THE most honest garage I've ever seen. Excellent people, prices are reasonable, very responsive. I watched repeat repeat customers non stop coming in. I just got a screw in my tire and they fixed it rather than charge me a tire we already ordered!! Who does that today???

Highly recommend. Integrity, quality work, kind and friendly (they had several buckets of flowers in water for customers on Valentines Day) fair, if not very good prices/fees, no excessive parts mark-up, work done on time as scheduled. The waiting area is friendly with free coffee and even the other waiting customers offered pleasant conversation. Almost look forward to my next repair!!! (OK, not really!)

If you are looking for honest mechanics and friendly office workers, Dave's Village Auto is the place. They don't take advantage and try to get you to do something that is not necessary like most dealers do. If your vehicle needs work they will even tell you if it is needed immediately or if it can wait or even if your vehicle is still worth the expense of the repair. Nicest repair shop in the area.

Definitely the best automotive repair company I ever used. Dave and his amazing team are very honest and straight forward with you. Professionalism , quality and knowledgeable are the word's I use to describe this shop . Rachael, the women at the counter is very knowledgeable and helpful, she works quick to get you what you need. Highly recommend this company for all of your automotive repair needs.

So glad to have Dave's Village Auto Repair in Whiting and the bonus is that it is only 5 minutes away from my house.Dave the owner is a really great guy and so is Hart, a mechanic at the shop. I feel very confident that they are very honest, knowledgeable and competent. You get a very strong trusting vibe there.They treat their customers with kindness and respect, including Michelle at the customer service counter.I had some serious brake issues and they got me in QUICKLY to assess and correct the problems to get me back on the road safely.Thank you, I really appreciate it.

I could not recommend Dave s village auto repair more!!!! After several horrible experiences at Mavis tire in Manchester, I came to Dave with concerns that he found to be urgent. He told me to come in even though he had a full schedule for the day and he would take the time to make sure my car was safe to drive. He listened to all of my concerns and even though I was expecting a long wait since I didn t have an appointment, Dave was able to get me in and out in less than an hour! His wife was working the front desk and was extremely friendly, making my experience even better. They went above and beyond for me, even filling my tires and checking my engine and making sure all of the lights on my dashboard were taken care of... something Mavis NEVER did for me, which is crazy in retrospect. Thank you so much Dave for taking care of my car today and educating me on what to expect in the future of my car. My family and I will continue to use Dave in the future!

Had car battery replaced. Required a special size battery. Dave searched until he found the precise battery required for my car to ensure the best performance. Also, without extra charge, he replaced all missing engine cover plugs and filled all tires with air including the spare.Excellent service, above and beyond!Highly recommend Dave's Village Auto.Oil change, 2 filters and cabin filter, tires rotated. Inspect brakes. Again, excellent service by Dave's Village Auto.

Dave's Village Auto Repair has been in business for quite a while. I've been down here for more than ten years and my mom before me (25 years), and would never take a car anywhere else. They are the friendliest people you could ever hope to meet, and most importantly the most honest mechanics ever. Dave will never try to convince you to spend money on anything you don't really need, and conversely, he won't let you drive out of there in an unsafe car. When you take a car to a mechanic, you're essentially trusting them with your life, and I absolutely feel safe knowing that Dave's looking after my car and looking out for me. I heartily recommend them unconditionally!!

This is the second time that Dave's Village Auto Repair has changed the oil in my Lexus. They truly are the most professional and knowledgeable auto repair station I have ever taken my vehicles. I have been taking my cars to the dealers for years and years. Recently, moved to the Manchester, NJ area and I am so grateful that Dave's Village Auto Repair was recommended to me. Dave is just an honest and trustworthy guy. He won't steer you wrong and recommend repairs that are not necessary. I trust him with all my vehicles. He can get overwhelmed at times, so you should schedule any maintenance at least a week out.

Dave installed my splash guards on my 2003 Buick Regal. They look great. I enjoy the local flavor and attention to detail here. Mavis Discount Tire was too busy for this small job. They keep my hooptie running as I need reliable transportation for my commute to Newark airport. They keep my hooptie running solid

I love Dave's Village Auto repair! They are very thorough and do great work!The prices are competitive and fair and Dave is very good at explaining what needs to be done and very fair at not charging for anything that is not required unless you authorize extra work.

I have been blessed having Dave's Village Auto in my life, so honest and reliable, my car is 14 years old and runs beautifully, Thought of getting a new one, but with the prices thru the roof and used cars unavailable, I'm gonna keep my car and continue with Dave's care.
