Super helpful in getting parts for our elderly, 35 year old John Deere! It took a couple of weeks but got a prompt phone call from Scott, letting us know they were in. Great store front, helpful staff, Ian, went above and beyond advising us about buying a bucket for the JD. Tons of in stock machinery, lots of Stihl products too! A service department to, in case you don't work in your own equipment!

My John Deere Gator was just delivered, thanks to Ian Slater and Robert. From start to finish, my experience with these two gentlemen has been exemplary. To say i am over the moon is an understatement. From the original sale to the delivery has been excellent. Ian made sure I was well cared for, and kept me abreast of the entire process, and facilitated an extremely easy sale. Robert was delightful, and took the time to knowledgeably explain the ins and outs of my new machine, and was generous with advice and tips. Marks out of ten..a hundred! Thank you, gentlemen.

We bought a large stand on blower from this place in 2018, less than 500 hours on it and something in the engine broke. Brought it to them and they wouldn t even look to see what was wrong and refused to work on it. I would never recommend buying anything from this place ever again.

I went to Power Place after having a bad experience at Central Jersey Equipment. Power Place left a worse taste in my mouth, if that was even possible. I had my 1025R in for its 50 hr service and 3rd function kit install. They didn't have availability for 3 weeks which was fine and told me they would have my tractor no more than 5 business days. I received it back 7 business days later, losing a weekends worth of revenue. No big deal, however, when I received it back, the forward pedal would stick in the full forward position, the loader joystick could be rotated 45deg without actually engaging any function and the backhoe joysticks had the same problem. I was charged for pickup and delivery even though I had dropped it off and picked it up. They don't hand you your itemized bill until you pay it. When dropping it off to get the new problems fixed, the customer service manager didn't introduce himself, apologize or offer a timeline for the repairs. (I still don't know his name but we will call him Bumble after the abominable snowman in Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, it makes sense if you meet him person) A full week later I call to follow up on the machine to see how the "repairs" are going and am told that return cylinder was the problem and the part is on backorder. First, it operated fine until it was in their care, second my mechanical engineering degree/20 years working on farm equipment/ yadda yadda yadda told me it was the newly installed/positioned hydraulic line rubbing on the return cylinder and being pinched on the wire harness clamp (see picture) and third still had no return date for a $25K piece of equipment that just had $4k worth of work and a new attachment purchased. Ironically, I received a text message asking me to review my recent service to which I left a similar review and was met with an automated message that someone would reach out to me. Still haven't heard from management or Bumble. Two days later I received a call that my machine was corrected. I asked for Bumble again when at their facility and asked for the bill to be corrected for delivery to which he obliged. When I asked if there was anything he could do for the inconvenience because it was clearly his techs fault (tech name was Ted by the way) he said no it was warranty. I understand you have to put it under warranty to get paid by Deere, but what about my time. He eventually relented and gave me $100 for my troubles. When Jimbo presented my machine to me in the parking lot, there was a "spare" washer in the cup holder that wasn't present before and the tractors lucky golf ball was missing. (The first golf ball I find while operating a piece of equipment stays with it forever, or apparently until a tech misplaces it) So in conclusion, John Deere makes a great many machines, but the dealer network, at least in North Jersey sucks....Update: I used the machine this weekend, after about 20 minutes of use found a bolt on the floor of the machine. Went to sit in the machine again to move it out of the muddy area it was in to look it over to figure out where it came from and discovered that Ted had failed to install the nuts back on both front seat bolts. Also, some nice gouges in the plastic covers. Still no word from Bumble or ownership.

Super easy to book appointment and have John Deere tractor mower (D120) serviced. They answered all questions asked and once they did their overview of the tractor they let me know of what they found and provided options. They did pick up and delivery and were very prompt. Highly recommend

Purchased a Stihl Kombi system, and the motor would not run under load. Power Place looked at it, and determined the carburetor needed to be replaced. Rather than make me wait for the repair, they swapped it with another new one. Very responsive to customer needs. No hassle service.

I love heavy equipment things that qualify. Yeah they are expensive but sometime good offer or promotion. Finance available. I wish own loader backhoe John Deere.

I just moved to the suburbs from Hoboken and needed a tractor to mow my lawn which is well over an acre. I know nothing about tractors but the guys at power place guided me toward the right product without trying to oversell me and have been incredibly helpful with an issue I had post sale. The sales guys take calls directly and take the time and care to help you feel confident that you ll be able to operate and maintain your tractor with ease. Thank you Power Place people! PowerPoint always gets our lawn mower Spring ready each year. This year they also tuned up our snowblower and delivered it to our son at no extra charge. Service is excellent and personnel are friendly.

We had a great experience buying a John Deere s240 at Power Place. We came here because we knew Justin and we prefer to buy local where possible as opposed to big box stores. Ian was a knowledgeable and helpful salesperson. Our delivery driver, Michael arrived early in the day, which was great! He was friendly and patient with showing us how to work the machine (we are new to lawn tractors). It was great to purchase from JD dealer where we had more midrange options than we could have found at home depot. We are very happy with our experience!

Awesome customer service! Stopped by the day before a big snow storm to get a snowblower! Couldn't get there earlier due to work. They had the equipment, but couldn't fit in my suburban. Initial check on delivery was "we are booked", but they went the extra mile and found and option to deliver that same day! Great group of folks and Awesome experience.

This place is awesome! I've had recurring issues with a riding mower and Power Place definitely exceeded my expectations. I worked with both Chris and Kyle who were both very professional, followed up with me immediately, and were very clear and honest with how they could help me. I love how they honor their commitments to pick up and drop off and keep you in the loop with texts and emails about the progress of the work and when it was complete/ready for delivery. Can't say enough about the experience I had vs. other places. Recommended!

I guess I can't leave more than 1 review under the same account, so I'm using an alternate account. Bought a Honda Inverter Generator from PP a few years back, and it's awesome! This time though my sights are set on a larger idea...50 acres worth. It was time for me to invest in a high quality chainsaw and, of course, I went directly to Power Place.I asked to speak to the shop manager first because I had a few questions concerning branding, ie. Husqvarna vs. Stihl. Jimmy, the shop manager, took the time and effort to explain to me the significant differences and similarities between the two. He assured me the choice of a Stihl would not disappoint, and if anything ever goes wrong to give him a call directly to his office phone.I proceeded to speak with Karl, the sales associate, who was SUPER knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me how I could get my warranty DOUBLED and which fluids would give me the best performance out of my new Stihl MS291. Although 2 pounds heavier that that MS261, I'm not a professional arborist. Karl also guided me through proper chain tension, bar oil, safety equipment, et al. (I slipped the kid a $20 to show my appreciation. He deserved more.)Pete, the Sales Manager, brought it all home for me. He double checked that I was getting what I needed, and not just trying to be sold something based on the price. He also made sure that Karl had informed me of all the benefits I could get just by buying a gallon of Moto Mix, $18/gallon, but money well spent bc this purchase was the secret to doubling my warranty.In the end it all comes down to price, and even more so value for my purchase. I told the boys, I don't want anything for free, I just want a good deal. I am totally confident that I am getting exactly what I am paying for from Power Place, and that I will not be treated better anywhere, by anyone, at any other shop.Power Place should be called the Only Place!

Power place does a nice job of servicing my Z425 mower. The left tire rim was all beat up and they replaced it during my regular annual service. After the annual service my mower looks as good as new. Thank you for a job well done.
