Clean upscale-ish interior (compared to local competition) and very friendly polite staff. All the standard recommendations are made filters fluids and brakes but that s fairly commonplace and delivered with a polite no pressure delivery (appreciated).

My buddy went here last Thursday to get his brakes looked at. The mechanics there took it for a test drive around the block to double check their shotty repairs on the car. After a phone call to my friend asking him to come back to the shop to go over the repairs done, he gets back to the shop to find out his car had serious body damage that WAS NOT previously there. The car was taken to the shop in absolute pristine condition prior to having the brakes looked at. The shop will not accept accountability and are fighting with my friends insurance. The mechanics here cannot drive cars, are incapable of handling issues that are there responsibility and are absolutely reckless. Don t go here for repairs, the 4.3 star rating of this place does not directly reflect the actual quality of this trash establishment. Don t go here, save your car and your wallet.

Most pleasant experience I've had taking my car in for service for the entire 12 years I've owned it. Employees didn't try to upsell me repairs that other mechanics have tried to get me to pay thousands for. They did what I asked, made a few simple suggestions, and got it done.

I have utilized Midas for many years. They have been very helpful in handling both maintenance and repairs on my vehicle as needed. They offer proactive suggestions and listen to the concerns of the customer. I would continue to recommend them for my car needs.

After having a terrible experience at a Midas in CT, I was very reluctant to go there again. Despite that I'm currently in NJ and decided to give them another chance. The 1st Midas I went to was very close to where I reside, however the experience wasn't the same but I wasn't happy so I tried my last Midas. Let me tell you this Midas has redeemed my decision. I've gone to them 3 or 4 times in Westfield and I'll never go to any other Midas. They're absolutely GREAT!!!!

I first brought my car in for an alignment, they did everything they could to try and sell me new tires that I don't need. They told me my tires were dry rotted and past their life expectancy. Mind you there's plenty of treed left so I wasn't falling for it. They do grantee their alignment for 1 year so about 2 months later I bring it back because the alignment was off. They told me one of my tires had a slow leak and they leak tested and couldn't find it. I kept an eye on it, about 2 weeks later it was low again. The best thing I did was bring it somewhere else because the reason for the slow leak was a nail in the tire. Honestly I don't even think they leak tested it or looked for a nail. I will never go back there.Service: Wheel alignment

The team was polite, pleasant and efficient with maintenance. Less than 45 minutes to complete change oil and inspection. The supervisor even gave me a discount. I have been going here for 3 years now and will continue to do so.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I rarely write reviews like this, but my experience with Mack and his crew is worth letting people know about. Efficient, knowledgeable, honest, affordable and really, really nice. I'm basing this not just on my own experience, but also the interactions I saw in their dealings with other customers while I was there. Highly recommended.

Called to see how much it was for an oil change and right off the bat Mack was super nice!!! Walked in and he took me right away and was super quick. I highly recommend going here for any service and asking for Mack, prices are great as well! I will definitely be going back.

The store charged $61 more today. When I noticed that, I asked for a refund. The manager insisted on a credit for the next visit instead of a refund. They asked $268 when I leave the car but charged $329.5 at the end, see the picture. want my money back!On the other hand, the alignment is useless; the weird sound is still coming from the wheels.

DO NOT go there!! Went there for rear brakes and rotors and they told me I needed a new caliber too. They quoted me $600 for labor on breaks and rotors and this caliber and the total was going to be $1499. I know very little about cars but even I knew that quote is insanely overpriced. I m not sure if it was malicious, idiotic or that somehow they just have people willing to seriously over pay. Anyways, I left that place as quick as I could ( which was very slow given the incompetence and inexperience of the guy at the desk)I got my new rear breaks and rotors with labor completer for $425 elsewhere just down the road and found out the caliber Midas told me I needed was not broken at all.On top of all that they tried to scare me into paying that outrageous price by telling me the car was unsafe to drive.Please please take your business elsewhere, Victor was the guy I worked with and it was the worst mechanic experience I ever had.

Could not have had a better experience. Came in a few weeks ago to have a tire with a nail in it fixed. Only local shop that would see me right away. Fixed it quickly with great communication. Came back when the wheel seemed to be losing air. Saw the car right away, determined the issue was unrelated to the original nail, but STILL fixed it right away and free of charge. Amazing people at this location.

Jeff and Anthony are always friendly and professional. They makes sure to communicate pricing before the repair. Rudy was the mechanic who did my repair. Clean waiting room with tv, wifi, complimentary coffee and a clean restroom. I highly recommend this Midas in Westfield.

I always go here for oil changes for my cars. Last week I had my battery changed and since I had a great experience with the new manager Manny, I decided to have my brakes replaced here also. Manny is great. He is very accommodating and thorough. I had questions about the service the next day and he told me to just come right in and solved my problem easily. Hate doing this but did not have a great experience here , I purchased a Groupon deal for a four wheel alignment at.89.99 still on Groupon but then I ended up paying again full price at 120.99 for wheel alignment cause they did not wanted or did not know how to honor my coupon. I called Groupon and since it was marked as redeemed I could not get a refund so I ended up wasting double money . I'm sorry but it's not fair specially for people who really work hard for their money

Brought my car in for a diagnostics. They tried to completely price gouge me by sending me a repair order with a bunch of work orders that were not necessary for my vehicle s function. Ran it by another mechanic who was in disbelief.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

DO NOT COME HERE! I went in for an oil change only, when I went to drive off, my car was making a Reverberating /exhaust noise that was not there before. Took it back right away and they claimed there wasn't an issue. I KNOW my car was not making that noise. I took it to another place for a quick visual check, the bottom cover was practically off, held by 2 snaps, just careless. The noise still there, taking it to a mechanic next week....MIDAS NEVER AGAIN.Service: Oil change

Here is the go to place for all your mechanical concerns Gordon and Betty really makes you feel your car is in good hands. Along with a team of professional certified and courteous mechanics like Ariel who took the time to answer all my questions and even gave me a few tips on what to look for in future maintenance. I came to this mechanic shop with a very simple job. I met with the manager to set an appointment and agree on a price. I showed him an invoice from my vehicles original service center for $80 to do this job. I asked if he could do the same job for the same price, and he agreed. After the job had been completed they tried to charge me over $450. The manager was rude and sarcastic as I asked him to explain why he s trying to charge me more for a job we had already set terms on. At the end of the day he still charged me more than agreed.This is your stereo typical mechanic shop that likes to rip people off. I do not recommend anyone goes here!
