Fantastic shop for both mechanical and body repairs (only done small body work so not sure if they do major body work).I was even able to get a complicated electrical issue with the wiring harness fixed here. I had to bring the car back three or four times because there were several loose wires that had to be repaired and it was a process of elimination as the car's computer would only tell them a single wire fault at a time. They refused to charge me for the follow-up visits even though I'm sure additional labor was involved in fixing the secondary faults that were found. Can't give them high enough praise for keeping my Taurus running like new.Very nice staff with both English and Spanish speakers.

Got scammed! Was told my car was totaled due to flooding/water entry cause by rain. They were NOT able to fix it. However, still charged me $1000 for battery and fuse box replacement. Mind you they had my car for over a month.Took it to another shop and were able to fix it in couple days. Back to normal, running perfectly. To top it off, I was told both battery and fuse box were NOT new.Called this place for months to make things right, only to brush me off. Only action is to take legal action for scamming.

Extremely disappointed with the quality of service at this business. I went in for what I thought was an axel issue and ended up spending more than $2K to fix several recommended issues, one of which was a problem with the "steering pump". They at best misdiagnosed or inadequately diagnosed the issue with the steering pump. They put new steering pump and now my car is leaking steering pump oil. It's abundantly clear they fixed something that may not have been broken or they clearly didn't understand the problem. Needless to say, today my car is still leaking oil and I'm having to pay some other mechanic to clean up this mess. When i raised this issue with the front desk - their response: "i didn't work on your car" - unreal!!

I'm extremely pleased with the service at Ramirez and Son. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and my car was ready when promised. I live in Weehawken so it's very handy to walk to and from. This was my second visit and they honored the warranty that I received last October without any discussion.I would highly recommend this business and I am giving them a FIVE star review.Service: Engine repair

I was referred to Ramirez and Sons when I was involved in an accident. I needed a new drivers side door and fender for my 2021 Honda. This was my first taking my car to a shop. I was impressed with the service which was quick and affordable! Everyone is very nice and professional. I was told the maximum to get my car fixed would be 10 days and it was done in 2! They did an excellent job! My car looked new! I will def use them again for any future repairs and refer my friends and family. I am just to my Fianc� doing our cars repairs,but we have 2 toddlers and work so the time is not really there.Good Mechanic s are hard to come by this days,A friend recommend Ramirez & Sons and we are very pleased with the work they did to our car they also looked at some concerns my fianc� had, they definitely earned a new client as my fianc� said and from now on my 3 vehicle s will be seen by the Doctors at Ramirez & Sons.Thank you guys!!!!!

I visited this establishment twice for the same problem, but unfortunately, my concerns were not adequately addressed. The staff seemed disinterested in listening to my issue, and the owner was sure to let me know he was having personal problems. As customers, we all have our own challenges, and we rely on businesses to provide professional assistance regardless of personal matters.Regrettably, customer service at this place falls well below expectations. I felt unjustly blamed for the problem not being resolved, and the owner appeared more focused on financial matters than on genuinely fixing the issue. It was disheartening to be met with the response, "how are we supposed to know what the problem is" from a service-oriented establishment. This lack of understanding was quite surprising.Overall, I must express my disappointment with their inability to fix the problem adequately and their failure to establish a better client relationship. As a customer seeking assistance, I expected a higher level of competence and service from this establishment.Service: Auto water leak repair

My 2005 vehicle needed a number of engine tuneups and complete tire replacement.The mechanics at Ramirez & Sons performed all of the repairs efficiently and my car is now running well again and feels great. I have been a loyal client of Ramirez & Sons for over 20 years and have always been very happy with their professional services, be it regular car maintenance or any kind of other needs and/or repairs. They are a fair and honest family business from my personal experience. I have owned my car now for over 22 years (27 years old, almost a 'classic' but drives like new thanks to them) and appreciate when they are going the extra mile in case I need a part that is not readily available anymore. Ramirez & Sons provide customers exceptional service. When you stop by, ask for Frank. He was able to diagnose my car s problem without looking at it, and as he predicted, the battery was the issue. Plus, they have affordable rates.

Frank took care of my mom's Civic with not much advance warning other than, "AAA tow truck is dropping off the car later today!" My experience at Ramirez & Sons Auto Service has been amazing, five stars and plus! They met all my expectations and they were a huge help during this pandemic. They were able to accommodate all of my needs, including my own schedule with lots of professionalism and lots of transparency taking their time to explain everything in detail. I will continue to bring my vehicle over to Frank as I know he will take great care of it. Thank you so much!

We have been servicing our cars with this family owned business for decades. My father brought his cars there and now my sister and I do the same. Service at Ramirez & Sons is always dependable. You are quoted repair costs before they are done and once approved they are completed promptly. The front office is always synchronized with the garage. I look forward to seeing Frank, his family and all the familiar auto technicians. Excellent service!

I ve been a customer for over a year and have experienced only the finest service at Ramirez & Sons from tune ups and oil changes to a recent battery replacement. Frank Ramirez and his crew are first class when it comes to customer satisfaction. They offer a reputable service at competitive pricing. I trust them completely to do the best job possible. Had my f150 pick up serviced last week and must say i was very satisfied. The location has been in business for a long time ave they are very respectful and honest. The vehicle repair was quick, and very affordable. No hassle, no nonsense. I will use then again when the need arises.

I'm so happy I found trustworthy & reliable Auto Service that I can always count on to take Excellent care of my car.

I would like to share a horrible experience that I had with this business. This was my third visit for auto work, with the first two visits being a good experience, probably because the mechanics working there catered to my needs directly. For my third visit, however, I was dealing with the assistant behind the desk. So, I went on a Monday because my gas tank flap was not closing, the woman behind the desk took all the details and told me that they will order a part that needs to be replaced, and will call me once the part arrives. She said it will take about three days for the part to get delivered. I waited for an entire week before going back to them on the following Monday. The woman said that she will call me in a couple of hours with the update. Surely enough, there was no call from her. I went back again on Friday, and she told me that the mechanic said that it will be better if I got the part myself and they will fix it. I am not as dissatisfied with this response as I am with with followed next. I simply asked her why she did not call me and she said there is a lot of work and that she is the only one out there. Not even once did she apologize for dropping the ball bigtime, and did not even show any interest in customer satisfaction. I wish i had to deal with the mechanics directly. Perhaps my experience would have been the same as the first two times. This is not how a business treats their customers, especially a business that has been around forever. I will definitely not recommend using this business for your auto needs!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent Service, speedy and trustworthy. I send all my Manhattan friends to this garage, too. Frank & his team have performed several repairs on my 1999 4-Runner like brake pads, alignment, inspection, u-joints, oil change, & body repairs. My beloved older car continue to be great shape thanks to this garage. Best mechanic experience I ve ever had. Ramirez and Sons have been servicing my Mini-Cooper for the past 2-3 years and I can t imagine switching. They re thorough and will explain every nuance in detail and respect the layman knowledge most people like myself have around cars. If you re a single women overwhelmed with the up keep of your vehicle - check them out. So happy I found them.

We have been going to Ramirez & Sons for close to a dozen years. They have services all of our cars / trucks over the years.The staff and owner Frank, see to it that repairs and service provided is always top notch. They standby their repairs with personal warranty- guarantee their work for their clients.Our family of three drivers take our cars to them first above the dealerships because there honest and know how to properly make repairs.We can fully recommend them above anyone in our area. I ve Serviced my car three times at Ramirez. I ve been pleased with the work. I appreciate the detail that they provided to me on any issue with the car and why the job needed to be performed. In addition they also have been pretty punctual with the time it would take to repair. Overall I would recommend them.

An honest repair shop is not easy to find. This is my second visit to this shop, and I am very impressed with the service. The issues with my vehicle were diagnosed, explained to me, and repaired in a timely manner at a fair price.
