DO NOT believe the reviews !! I went in to test the waters and had to this guy straight up lie to my face saying I needed over $3500 in repairs for a simple fuel injector swap on cylinder 4.. Charged me $200 to do a simple exam on the car. I never told him to open up the motor head.. I'm thinking this is going to do a simple OBD read and overall diagnosis. Talks down to you and is unprofessional. Took my car to a actual trusted shop ..boom one fuel injector later problem fixed.

True Professionals. Changing transmission fluid was very fast and efficient, about 40min in and out. However the charges were quite high. Still 5 stars for service. I suggest to ask and compare quotes from 2-3 shops in advance.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Please do not go here.Renato, he will rip you off, and if you mention any dissatisfaction he will speak down to you.he will install a cheap device and will overcharge you.I will never recommend this place.***updated** since the owner was KIND ENOUGH to respond, I went in for a new starter since my went out. You charged me $500 for a new one, which stopped working after 8 months. I called your office and spoke to Renato to bring the vehicle back since the new mechanic recommended I go back to you since you installed it and I was still on warranty. In addition, my new mechanic recommended I speak with you as the new starter you installed is cheap and not what I paid for. Since you could not help and was very condescending in the way you spoke to me, not sure, if because I am a woman, you could think you could take advantage of me. I decided NOT to be petty but to warn others so they don't get rip off like I did. Take it as you like it.

National Car Transmission to me a is like a Car Mechanic Shop sent from heaven. In September 2020 I purchased a 2005 Audi A4 Cabriolet which I thought was a good buy; but it turned out to be a nightmare. However, Renato and team turned that nightmare into a livable and well worthy reality. Renato was able to make the changes necessary to be able to eliminate engine problems and leaks. He tuned up the car and welded the exhaust. Not only did he do a good job but he also gave me a life time warranty. Since, I have continued coming for minor fixes like new front arm control & suspension replacement. Always guarantees warranty. Today I m getting a motor mount replacement; both left and right, and as per usual he continues to check to see if there is any other kind of issues that are repairable while on the job.All in all, the honesty and efficiency of this shop make it whole. Prices are also affordable; they try their best to work with your budget. Check them out for any issues with your cars. Such a great family owned place. Renato and his guys diagnosed the issue in less than 5min and the problem was gone in less than 2hours. My previous mechanic that I used to take my car for any issue, he couldn t even diagnose the issue 2days before visiting Renato s place. Now I am very grateful to find a more reliable place near my house

The guy was supposed put a new battery in my car and he did not do it. He is a scammer and a big thief. Do not go there. He is not an honest person. Please save your money and go somewhere elseIn addition I even called the police on you I have a police report that I filed and I will post it here.

Hello there, I just want to share my really good experience in relation to National Transmission and Auto Repair. They had been my mechanics for more than 10 years and I have only really good experiences and good times concerning the maintenance of my car.Today my car broke down in route 1&9 in Jersey City when I was on my way to my house in Fairview NJ. Renato helped me so much. He called the towing truck, he ordered and pick up the part from the auto parts store in person in order to fixed what was wrong with my car, since they know that I need my car be available every single day. These guys are too good to be true. If you are in need of a honest, caring mechanics you need to see Renato, Alex and Arturo at national transmission in WNY, New Jersey.THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR EVERYTHING.

Since I had moved into the area, I can honestly say this is my "Go To" shop for any repair work. The staff are friendly, conversational, hard working, and transparent. I have had work done on my vehicle from brakes, to shocks, to the "something feels off when driving" moments. They have been able to take my last minute calls, gave me estimates, would complete the work and even show me the broken/ damage parts taken out.Definitely hard to find shops like this these days.Thanks National Transmission and Auto Repair

Renato , Alex and the entire family! thank you for your years and years of professional amazing service.. you have fixed everything from rebuilding my GMC and Ford transmission , Bmw head gaskets too and replacing car seat electrical issues .. My father has been using this business for years, so when my car died while visiting I knew where to go. The problem was diagnosed and fixed faster than ever before (Sad to say, this is the third time this particular part has failed on my 20 year old car). The cost of this repair was also less than I had paid previously closer to home. You cannot put a price on peace of mind, and I drove the 50+ miles home without worrying at all.

Brought my vehicle here to get a flexplate replaced. This was the third time it was getting replaced so I know the sounds and the feeling of the car when the flexplate is broken. This shop told me I was wrong and I needed a new engine. Brought it to Precision Auto in Long Island City and they confirmed I was correct. Would not recommend National Transmission and Auto to anyone.

In 2021 my husband found this repair shop from Google Map our 2010 Dodge Caravan needed a new transmission. Transmission was replaced and almost a year later the transmission is still holding up.

I agreed to pay for a replacement clutch here then Googled it and found out they overcharged me by 150$. Woops. Won't go there again.
