If you are looking to upgrade your car audio system, I highly recommend Joe Bruno of Joe Bruno Designs. It is rare to find someone with so much experience and integrity. He listens! I was looking to upgrade the audio in my 2017 Honda Ridgeline. Based off his suggestion, I started with upgrading the head unit. What a difference. Next step is to upgrade from the stock speaker system. Joe is a true craftsman. The work he does is impeccable. When he was finished, the head unit looked like it had always been there. Thank you Joe. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Wish I could give a better review like others and their experiences, but mine was a little different than what I was reading. I called Joe on 2 occasions, first one never got a call back, waited another day or two and reached out again, he said he was heading out early for the day, which was perfectly fine, and was only able to speak for a quick minute.Hearing this I cut to the chase, let him know my year make model, that I want a sub and amp installed, I have these parts already, what do I need and what do you charge to install. He gave me his email and said to send pictures and all the info. That was a month ago, never got a response after sending the email. Guess he was to busy or wasn t going to make enough on the job.Was hoping for a different experience because I see he does good work, and that s something I appreciate being a mechanic in automotive restoration. Ultimately went to a different shop that did the job for me quickly.

We only take our vehicles to Joe. He can do anything! His custom fabrication work is top of the line. He has installed sound systems in all of our vehicles and it always sounds amazing. Crisp. He has also replaced numerous headlights in all of our vehicles and light bars on our recreational vehicles! Top notch!

I contacted Joe about a custom bezel for my AL Priority control set a couple weeks ago. Not only did Joe get back to me quickly, but he also turned around a beautiful custom bezel that fits perfect in my dash in just a few weeks for a great price! Very highly recommended!

I don't like to use the term "Artisan" much, because I believe it is over-used these days. However, Joe Bruno is one person that I'm going to have to assign that term to, but with no reluctance whatsoever.I had a Pioneer head unit installed in my 2008 Mazda 3 by...someone else. He sort of botched the job, mostly because he didn't really know how to work with the Bose system. He left off the original LCD strip at the top, which shows your climate control information, which, is sort of important, and of course it looked pretty weird just having a blank spot there. Apparently that happens a lot. You can keep the strip, but it takes some doing. I also then started to hear some hissing from the speakers, which was not there before.I found Joe online, contacted him, and he fixed EVERYTHING, making it even better than before. In the picture, you'll see that the LCD strip is indeed there again and functioning. The top and bottom portions of the console are now flush and firm feeling, where before, they were separated by about a half inch (the top jutted out from the bottom), and felt flimsy. He also installed that USB port there; that wasn't there before. Finally, he set the sound levels to eliminate the slight distortion from my left front speaker (we'll be replacing the fronts as a second step fairly soon), and tuned the amp for my 12" Alpine subwoofer to produce JUST the right amount of punch. I notice zero distortion, and it sounds crystal clear at what is my "loud" level.I saw that a lot of people with some pretty fancy cars trust Joe to do the work for them, so I figured he was the guy to tackle my particular problem, and man I'm glad I found him. I will be working with Joe for all of my future upgrade needs.

Joe Bruno is not just a sound engineer, he's an artist. He completely overhauled the sound system in my Porsche Cayman S and installed front and rear cameras as well as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and sound deadening within the doors.The installation quality looks so OEM, that you need to be told that it's aftermarket to be able to tell.Not only was his work great, but he was also reliable, fast, and took the time to answer any questions I had. If you're looking for a high end system, this is the place to go.

Joe has worked on two of my vehicles, my Porsche and my Ford ranger. With both vehicles his push for perfection and his attention to details are top-notch!! My Porsche was diagnosed, repaired and back in working order to dealer specks in a day!! The Ford Ranger which was soon to be my sons first car, Joe helped choose a touch screen radio and then installed it, with hands-free Navigation, phone as well as an easy and SAFE way to use his music through his phone, even going the extra mile to re-paint the dash housing frame to match the dash!! I will only call Joe first for any of my audio needs, he is extremely knowledgeable as well as a true perfectionist!

Joe Bruno Designs is the best around bar none! Joe has amazing amounts of knowledge when it comes to car electronics and has vast product knowledge as well. I just upgraded my head unit to an Alpine unit based on Joe ' recommendation and boy was he right. Major improvements on the sound quality and the unit is very user friendly. Joe does some amazingly clean but yet trick audio work. Do yourself a favor and check him out for any of your car electronic needs, you'll be glad you did. Thanks again Joe!

Simply the best! Joe has worked on numerous high end vehicles of mine over the past two decades. Corvette s, AMG Mercedes and high end British sedans of mine. Hands-down the best! This is an industry that you just do not want anybody to touch your vehicle or you could very well be sorry in more ways than one!Joe s expertise over the decades transcends excellence and he stays in contact with current manufacturers to stay abreast of our ever changing vehicular and mobile technology. If you want it done right the FIRST time and at a competitive price, then go see Joe!

Joe did some amazing sound work on my BMW Z3. He came up with creatime options to keep the vehicle looking stock while soundin awesome at 70mph with the top down. Joe managed to the quoted budget, kept me updated along the way any sent pictures of the work in progress. I had the chance to see a few of the jobs he was working on when I picked up the completed vehicle. Needless to say Joe can do some awesome custom work that goes well beyond what I was having done. Some day when I put a 80's 911 Turbo in the garage, I know exactly who I'll be taking it to. Highly reccomend.

Joe recently replaced my stock stereo with a new Alpine stereo and low output converter in my car. It looks much better and enhanced my sound system exponentially. Moreover, Joe was able to schedule an appointment and put the stereo in on short notice. His knowledge and expertise is highly evident. Great, clean, and professional work.

As I typically do around Mother's day, I procrastinated. My wife wanted a new head unit and back up camera for her Rubicon. I stopped by in person, Joe walked me through everything, gave me a quote and prioritized is getting us on the calendar ASAP. The work was completed as promised and when promised with perfect fit and finish. Highly recommend.

Simply said, there s no better than Joe Bruno to customize your car. He really knows his stuff, from radar protection to stereo systems, and has a complete understanding of what has to be done to do the job right. Joe outfitted my Charger with a great radar / laser system and a complete stereo overhaul. The radar / laser is as stealth as it gets without sacrificing any performance. The new stereo hits the mark perfectly, from new speakers / subwoofer to the amp. All internal controls are customized and all the work looks OEM as need be. Joe will walk you through all options and will keep you within your budget. You won t find anyone out there with as much knowledge as Joe and certainly nobody who takes more pride in their work.

A few days ago, I took my Honda CRV to Joe Bruno, so he could install a remote starter system. Joe had previously done some excellent audio work on my husband's car, so he was my first choice to have this job done. Joe did an great job, and had the car back to me the next day. I had to work, so my husband went to pick it up. Joe walked him through how to properly start it, since there are actually a couple of steps beyond simply clicking the key fob button 3 times.The system that was installed can also be paired to an app on your phone (Drone Mobile). Once installed and paired, you can start the car from your phone, which is really pretty neat. Starting it this way, I have found, can take up to 15 seconds, but hey, the signal has to go up into SPACE and back down in order to do this, so a delay like that is reasonable. It has also taken as little as 5 seconds, so I guess it depends on the signal strength where you are located. There IS an annual fee after the free trial. I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay for that, but once I learned that we could also put the app on my husband's phone, allowing him to unlock the car from wherever if needed, I was absolutely sold.Excellent work as always by Joe. In the near future, I will also be doing an audio upgrade (stealth sub box and amplifier), and Joe will be taking care of that as well. I have absolute faith that the future job will go just as smoothly as this one did!

Joe is a true craftsmen one of those rare individuals that slaves over the details. He is every bit as concerned about how the partsno one will ever see as the parts in plain view. Joe has worked on nearly every vehicle I have ever owned and his work is truly so far above the rest there is really no comparison he is worth every penny and I would not hand my keys to anyone else.If you want something exceptional for your car Joe Bruno Designs is the only place to go.Get it done right the first time go see Joe the difficult he can do right away the impossible you might have to wait for!!

This place is hands down the best place to take your car. I went to the shop the other day with out an appointment and he spent a good 45 minutes out of his day to help plan my car's upgrades. He is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his designs. He showed me exactly what he was able to do, got me very competitive prices, and never felt pushy about making a sale. He was incredibly friendly, and I cant wait to get my car upgraded here. Once my car is finished, I will be posting an upgrade and pictures!

I rarely write reviews, but I am so thrilled with Joe. He installed a BavSound Stage One in my BMW M240i extremely well, and is a reliable, smart, detail orientated car-enthusiast. I wouldn t hesitate to recommend him for any audio or electronic work.

Upgraded audio system on 2019 X4 and couldn't be happier with the work Joe did. Panels were well insulated and there was no sign that the interior was even touched. He's passionate and meticulous about his work...I trusted him with my brand new ride and he proved I made the right decision.

By far the best auto sound guy in NJ. Not a single person knew what they were doing. Then I found Joe. He worked with me to fix every mistake other people made. Car is working the way it came from factory now. We also did a new alarm, dash cameras, and new speakers. Everything is over my expectations. Joe could not have done a better job. I drove over 2 hours just to get the work done. Could not be happier.

I highly recommend Joe Bruno Designs for all your car audio needs. Joe installed the Bavsound Stage 1 & Stage 2 in my new BMW 328ix. Joe is vey knowledgeable and passionate about car audio systems. Joe went above and beyond on getting speakers that were originally on back order. Great customer service, pricing, scheduling and overall results. I can t believe the amazing sound quality. If you need any car audio equipment at all Joe Bruno Designs is the place to go. I needed to replace a set of old speakers that I had from years ago that have been in a couple different cars at this point. I like sound that is as close to audiophile perfect as my wallet allows and was nervous about wasting money on something I wouldn't like or enjoy at all as I've done in the past!! I haven't stayed current with audio equipment at all for a long while. Joe took time out of his day to listen to my car and picky me and recommend me a set of Hybrid Technology Component Speakers that I absolutely love and they sound great. His attention to detail is unmatched when it comes to wiring and craftsmanship. Thanks again Joe for all your help!!!!

Joe Bruno at Joe Bruno Designs did a superb, flawless, and painstakingly precise stealth radar/laser install on my C6 Corvette! From start to finish, Joe was meticulous, patient, and a real gentleman. He took the time to explain the finer details, completed the job in a timely manner, and thoroughly tested the entire system.As if that wasn't enough, he included customized "extras" (as part of the quoted price) that can only be described as an "engineering marvel" (the precision and attention to detail blows my mind!).I NEVER tell a shop owner to "do what you think is best". But with Joe, I gave him complete freedom. Joe made a customer for life. Regardless of whether it's a small job, straight up install, or high-end, custom/stealth application, look no further than Joe Bruno Designs.

Joe is absolutely the best in the business! His prices are very competitive and I only allow him to do modifications on my M5 - his work is precise, meticulous, works right the first time and as a person, he is very friendly, down to earth, and freely shares knowledge and will guide you in the right direction, offering the best equipment possible for your budget, Joe has now modified my M3, my 911, and my M5, with everything including replacement sound systems unlike I have ever heard, front and rear motion cameras, stationary cameras, head units, subwoofers, and lighting, radar systems, and ScrapeArmor, which protects the underbody of your low to the ground vehicle. Cannot say enough about this fine gentleman. I had tried other bigger places and just felt uncomfortable in the past. With JoeBrunoDesigns, you know exactly what you are getting upfront, and considering he is also a master craftsman, he designs brackets to enclosures to make the custom equipment look stock. Just amazing

I think there a lot of people out there that are full of them shelves but Joe Bruno is the real deal. I'm lucky that Joe's new home is only ten min. from where I live, so I get to see a lot of the master pieces he creates from custom enclosures made from wood or fiberglass or anything else. From simple systems to full blown multi-amp blow your mind systems. There are a lot of people out there that are good at what the do But I think Joe Bruno is that much BETTER. With Joe its all about the music, the way the artist ment for it to sound, I don't think anybody knows that better then Joe .I have known Joe for over twenty years and he has helped with two of my car's stereo. I can't think of any anybody I trust more with my car then Joe Bruno.

Joe is an extreamly talented man who does the best work. His precision and craftsmanship are truly better than anyone I have ever met. After numerous headaches at other shops, I have no doubt Joe is always the right man for the job when it comes to audio systems.

It's so unusual so find people that are talkative but are less productive.. here comes the man Joe who is both productive and talkative.. amazing work by him in replacing my bmw speakers with bavsound. Love to work with him again

I knew Joe installed some seriously impressive audio systems but remote starters? Why am I now hearing about this. Joe does some incredible work but he needs to get word out more.
