Slow and takes way too long. I understand you are busy and have alot of things to do but when you say an appointment is at 12; you make sure you re there at 12. They do decent work but the timing is terrible. I d recommend finding a faster place

Warren always takes good care of me and doesn t try to rip you off, he ll tell you what you need and if you need it. Very friendly and actually cares about getting your vehicle fixed and getting it back to you in a timely manner. He will explain what he needs to do and why he needs too, very honest. Great customer service and will always give you fair prices.

With my business I always need something fixed with my trucks and vans. I would whole heartedly recommend bringing a car here for any type of bodywork repair. It s rare to find a place that offers such a high level of professionalism. Also, Warren s quality of work is superb. He and his team took the time to explain what needed to be done and had the work completed on time. I will absolutely take my trucks/cars back to them for more work in the future!

My daughter parked her Toyota at a friend's house in Wayne for 2 weeks during some international travel. The car wouldn't start the next day and she was at a loss how she was going to get back to Connecticut in time for work that afternoon. She called Wayne Shell at random for roadside assistance. Maury responded within 15 minutes and jumped the Toyota. My daughter followed Maury back to the service station where Maury checked the battery, found it weak (it was 4 years old) and replaced it for her at a very reasonable price. Considering the quick response time for the roadside assistance and the quality and completeness of the work, I was extremely satisfied. More, my daughter had been anxious about her delayed departure causing her to miss work. Maury resolved the situation promptly and professionally and got her back on the road so quickly that she made it to work on time, even after the 3-hour drive. Maury, thanks for helping out my girl. I wish Wayne Shell was my neighborhood service station. They'd be my first choice.Service: Battery

Had a great experience here. Warren is very knowledgeable on all cars. He fixes these cars in a timely fashion with quality parts. Always backs his work up. Friendly, courteous staff members, will recommend his services to all others.

My alternator died while in Wayne. Heard about this shop thru AAA. Car was towed and the owner immediately did a diagnostic and had the vehicle ready before the end of the day. Everyone was friendly and very helpful! Would definitely use them again and send referrals.

Excellent. Broke down in my company vehicle at 4pm. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a very fair price ( when they could of easily taken advantage of me as I was 2 hours from home) I was on my way in an hour and a half. It's nice to deal with an honest local business.

I brought my 16-year-old Toyota Camry in here for them to look into sputtering and slow idle on start-up. I left it there all day. When I came back to get it at the end of the day, they said they couldn't find anything wrong. (They hadn't checked for carbon build-up on the idle control, which is one of the first things a good mechanic would check given those symptoms.) A few weeks later, I brought it back again. I arrived right when they opened, and I told them they might want to check the idle control, since that had needed to be cleaned a few years earlier. I got no call from them all day. Well after their posted closing time, I called and asked for a status update. They told me that it would be ready in 30 minutes. I got there and found they had replaced the idle control valve and wanted $560 for the job. I told them that this was quite expensive and I asked why they hadn't called me to give an estimate or to get my approval on the price. They replied unapologetically, "We thought that's what you wanted. We can put the old one back in if you want." I asked whether they had bothered trying to clean the idle control valve first, which would have been much less expensive and probably would have solved the problem as it did years earlier. They replied that they hadn't tried that.If you go to this place, ask them to call you with an estimate before they do the work. Though their service in my case may not have been intentionally deceptive, I felt it was sloppy customer service.

i would rate them higher if they didnt forget to install a critical bolt on the brake caliper bracket on my work van. as you may know, that caused a very unsafe situation that could have ended very poorly for myself, my helper, and anyone else unfortunate enough to be in the general vicinity.that being said, once the situation was brought to their attention the owner came to my location and did rectify the problem.

Worse place ever holds car for 4 days then decided to be lazy and claim Warren can t do the job. Lied saying the o2 sensor was done when it was not truck just sat. Worse place ever would not recommend bringing anything there.

Not a review about the workshop, however: If you enjoy being treated like garbage when a rude gas station attendant laughs in your face after forgetting to ask you if you d like to pay with cash or credit, get your gas here! Otherwise, stay VERY FAR away and get your gas at the BP across the street. Congratulations on losing a customer!

I had a flat tire on Good Friday. When most shops were closed the good guys here took care off my in a jiffy. I would highly recommend them.

This place sucks. Dropped off car for brakes at 8am, calls me at 445 and said we ordered the wrong parts. We will do them at 8am first thing, at noo next day the car wasn t even started. Don t make promises you can t keep.

This is a review about the gas attendant. Very unprofessional, rude & lazy.He didn t want to get up to attending and didn t want to use my rewards card from Home Depot. It seems like he hates what he does. I will never come back to this GAS STATION ever again.

Solid, honest mechanics, they went out of their way and shared tips and printouts for a project I took on myself, this is the North Jersey shop that does the work I can't.
